We have stayed at Bushman's many times over the years - definitely our "Preferred Stay" in the Lithgow region. The motel is very convenient for large vehicles ; we used to stay when we had our Removalist's Business and parking the truck up safely was not a problem; also the fact that they had/have a licensed restaurant was a big plus on the road. Now retired, it was just natural to go back there to stay. It's well off the highway and very quite, a real wind down ! The restaurant and bar are great. Our meals were top class, and still home cooked good Aussie Tucker and definitely not skimpy. Family owned and operated and much loved !

We drove past on the way to our meeting in Lithgow, and I thought this would be either awful or terrific. And it was terrific. The bed was warm and comfy, with plenty of pillows for watching TV. I had already bought my dinner and was leaving early, so I didn't get to experience the onsite restaurant. The bathroom was large, and they included a little "vanity pack" with an emery board - I needed one when I was there; what are the odds? The staff were lovely - I think I met the owners. It is a recently renovated old-fashioned motel - exactly what I like. There was a small space to move and work without sitting on the bed and a smart TV. It's on the list for the next visit that way

The heater was on for us the room was warm and a good size on arrival. The bed was very comfortable , it was great that the room had a couch in it. The view was wonderful , lots of birds and a few kangaroos. We ate at the restaurant both nights and the meals where delicious, would highly recommend. Deb our waitress was fantastic making our meal a delight . The motel is close to the road but you wouldn't know it as the rooms are quiet. We will be back

I would have liked a couple of bowls & cutlery in the room and a cloth to wipe the benches and cups out .

I had to call to advise I was going to be arriving late and Vivian gave me information and instructions for my arrival. I appreciated having the lights and the a/c on and the key left under the mat when we got there. Everything was clean and the bed was comfy.

We could hear the traffic on the highway a little and couldn’t open the sliding doors for fresh air because we could head the traffic noise even more. It’d be nice to be able to open a window or door in the room instead of having the a/c on all night. Sad that we never got to meet anyone because we arrived after 8:30pm on Saturday and Reception was closed when we left on Sunday morning around 9am.

Super clean and modern, helpful, friendly staff. The most amazing motel we have stayed in on an overnight trip. Meals were great. Room was spacious.

Unfortunately for us, the bed was too soft and we kept rolling into each other, so it wasn’t a restful sleep. We also understand that mattresses are personal and we usually sleep on something firmer. It may be the only mattress in the motel that possibly needs changing. It was such a great motel that I feel bad even saying this, but sleep is important. We would come back again if we stayed in another room to try out another bed because we liked the place do much

Loved the entire place, staff were really lovely. We arrived late, they phoned us beforehand to let us know the out of hours check in procedure and when we arrived at 9pm from a long car ride in the dark our room lights were all on and the heater was on for us too, which was a really lovely touch and we really appreciated! Everything was lovely and updated and modern, rooms were spacious and clean, we will definitely stay again

I dont think they're serving breakfast anymore as we couldn't find it, but we also got in late and left early so maybe worth checking. We had a lovely stay and couldnt mention any downsides. Will stay again, highly recommend.

The room was of reasonable size, comfortable and surprisingly very quiet even though the sliding doors faced the highway. Plenty of parking.

No bowls or plates were provided apparently due to covid restrictions requiring hotels without dedicated wash up areas to not include these items. There was, however a toaster, kettle, cups and microwave. The staff told me disposable items were available on request.

Great little motel. The rooms were clean and serviced daily. Comfortable beds. All the basic items were there including a fridge, microwave, kettle etc. Check-in was easy. They do have a restaurant/bar at the location, however, we didn't get a chance to try it. Location is very close to Lithgow town.

Would have been good if they included some cutlery as there is a toaster and a microwave provided but only spoons available for tea/coffee.

My husband and I tried the Restaurant the food was absolutely beautifully presented and very delicious will definitely be back

There is nothing I dont like about Bushman's Motel always lovely and Clean and the rooms are very modern just love staying there will always be my place to stay in Lithgow just Beautiful very peaceful and lovely maintained grounds The staff are lovely and the manager Viv is always lovely to deal with very polite and professional thank.you for a pleasant stay

The room was spacious. Beds were comfy. Dinner at the restaurant was fabulous. Electric blankets were necessary and appreciated. Room was quiet with a pleasant view.

The weather was cold and unless you were in the bed directly in line with the air conditioner, you were still chilly. Breakfast (additional charge) was basic - cereal, juice and white toast. Bathroom did not have a heater and was really cold.
