Great water park for children. It was very clean with a wonderful cabin well stocked. AC in all rooms. Washer, dryer with great cleaning supplies and soaps. Very large fridge and great stove and oven. Changed cabins for us for close location for children also as parking was difficult up a steep slope at first cabin. Very accommodating staff.

The wheelchair access bathroom had no shower curtains, a small sink with no vanity or shelves. Difficulty parking up very steep slope without a 4 wheel high vehicle. Lots of midges so bring mozzie coils and bug spray.

Last minute decision to go to Airlie Beach. Decided on the Friday night and we were not left with many choices but came across the 1 room Cabin at Discovery Parks Airlie Beach. 2 mins drive to the main town, great location. The 1 bedroom cabin fitted our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids) perfectly for the 4 days we were there. Great price , great location! Close to shops and beaches. Easy late check in as we drove from brisbane and arrived at 6pm and easy after hours check out! Friendly staff and fast responses to emails. Kids absolutely loved the pool there. Cabin was clean, beds comfy. Fridge, Tv , aircon, microwave all worked well! Would definitely come back and stay in the same cabin!

Shower drain was slow at draining water. Flow of water was great but the drainage was slow and water builds up fast.

The unit waa great, only one aircon but it seemed to do the job. The pool and watermark were fab. The children loved the jumping mat.

The price of ice creams $7 each!!! Our door was very hard to unlock, we couldn't get it unlocked to get in without assistance from staff and at one point we couldn't get it unlocked to get out, so we didn't lock it through the day when we left because we were worried about getting in and we didn't want to keep bothering the staff about it. Was a bit disappointed it wasn't fixed the first time I reported it.

Grandkids loved the waterpark, it was out of the main tourist area but was close enough if you wanted to dine out.

The facilities could have been improved at very little cost. We bought a table to add to the verandah for $50 from anaconda, the verandah had 2 chairs but no table. The camp kitchen had no utensils for cooking pots or pans. Great if you had a caravan but not so good if you were staying in the cabin. The addition of a toaster and possibly a microwave would also have helped. I stayed at a motel in Goondiwindi overnight on the way home and it had all of the above including knives,forks spoons. We were supplied with 2teaspoons, 2 coffee mugs and 2 glasses. As I said, it would be relatively inexpensive for them to upgrade the facilities.

Staff were lovely friendly and helpful. Even when we swapped rooms cause of the internet and tv. Were very accommodating. Loved the feeding of the birds, the games room, the accommodation was lovely and private and big kitchen and lounge and dining and bathroom. Coffee van was great. Kids loved the waterpark. And pool. And all the cockatoos. Was lovely all the wildlife.

The bed was very small for 2 adults. We are side sleepers and was very tiny. Like a small double. Recommend at least a queen. Did not sleep well at all. Rooms were hot only one air con in the lounge room and ment to do whole vila. The internet did not work at all, even though on booking i made sure there was internet in the listing. even when we swapped rooms it still didnt work the whole stay. . no smart tvs to unwind with a movie or keep the kids entertained after a busy day sightseeing or doing things at the park. So that was disappointing and no shade on the child pool. For $537 for 2 nights. Was very disappointing the fetures of the rooms.

Quick, last minute overnight stay due to camp site being rained out. I booked super-last-minute and everything went well, no issues with late check in despite it being late on a weekend. Had availability which was great. Unit was adequate, well equipped and had everything you would expect. Took a quick drive around before check out, and the kids facilities looked great, but we were leaving early so didn't have time to use them. Would stay there again given more time to explore and enjoy the place.

Nothing to report, everything was as advertised and as expected.

We stayed in the deluxe cabin and they were modern and very spacious, so great having a washer/dryer and cooking, we would choose to stay in them again. Our 4 year old loved the jumping pillow, playground, waterpark and pool. Very kid friendly park.

The only thing that stood out to me was the waterpark which needs a good clean/update, the kids loved it, maybe even the best part of the stay but it had seen better days

Room was very clean, bed was comfy and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The bed was up against the wall but we just moved it over for the night and moved it back in the morning. The room was small but it met our needs for the one night and was priced to suit the size of the room. The shower was lovely and hot.

There was a small gap between the blind and the window on the side. The angle of the road, the gap and the bed meant that passers by may have been able to see the bed at night if the light was on. We felt that we had enough privacy with the light off though.

Very homey. We stayed at the Bali Cabin and was pleasantly surprised at how big the place is. Even comes with a dishwasher and the place had enough for us to cook breakfast in. The area is also peaceful. There was even a pizza food truck that came into the park. Was enough for a quick 1-2 min drive to get there.

Place definitely looks a bit dated and my allergies were running haywire (can’t stop sneezing when I was up at one of the other bunk beds) during our stay but I’m general super sensitive/allergic to every small thing. Worth mentioning that none of my other family members experienced the same thing. Not sure if it was the beds or the carpet in the room

I liked it was a bit out of the main bustle and was very peaceful. The rooms were very clean and nice

The waterpark double slide was a bit jaulting on the kids when they hit the bottom and the full circle one didn't quite have enough water running in it and sometimes the kids got stuck half way down. But overall they loved it. The door to the bathroom was damaged and hard to close but we made do. Overall was a great stay and good value for money for the area
