Aiden was extremely helpful in suggesting sights to see. He has great local knowledge and is dedicated to making his visitors experience the best of what Port Douglas has to offer. I would highly recommend this accommodation to people who are looking for a comfortable, well equipped, clean and roomy place to stay, which is also well situated. The pool and spa are great; the water is always clean and a perfect temperature. Laundry facilities are great and drying rack are also very handy and always available. Parking is also very close to rooms and under cover. Really, I couldn’t fault this place!

Nothing ; it ticked all the boxes for us..

Lovely family run motel with spacious rooms, free parking, and an easy 20 min walk, or 3 min drive to the downtown area of Port Douglas. Lady at the front desk is especially lovely and made us feel extra welcome. Had everything you needed to cook a meal in the kitchenette in your room, including an electric pan that you can cook up a meal on, and utensils for cooking. Beach towels were free to use for the day and you could take them on your reef tour and return them when you were finished. DVDs were available to borrow at the front desk to use in your room which I thought was a very nice touch! Beds and pillows were super comfy. Location was quiet and tucked away from the main road. A/C was turned on for us before our arrival and did an excellent job.

The staff at this accommodation were excellent and the check-in very efficient. The accommodation itself was perfect for our needs. The rooms are large with a good seating area and table and chairs. There was a good kitchen with all we needed and the accommodation had adequate storage and hanging facilities. The beds were good and the bathroom was spacious with a good shower. The owner was particularly helpful and put me in touch with a great guide for a birdwatching trip on the Daintree River. The accommodation has good parking bays outside each room.

The accommodation is great if you have transport, if you don't have transport and wanted to be near the centre of Douglas it is a bit of a walk from this location.

The location is peaceful, surrouned by lush vegetation and the facility is spacious , recently decorated and impeccably clean. Aiden (the owner) was very approachable, available and always willing to help and share his local knowledge and valuable advice with a smile. Aiden made our tour bookings for us and everything went very smoothly. Beach towels are available to borrow for the pool, beach and can be taken on tours! 4 mile beach is within easy walking distance (great for sunrise and sunsets!) and is absolutely amazing! The town centre is just a little further and there are 2 restaurants which offer yumm takeways very nearby. There is a also a close by bus stop to go into town but we didn use it. There is also a possibility of renting a car very nearby. With laundry facilities on site, a ceiling fan and air conditionning (which were controlled by ourselves) and a lovely pool to cool down everything was just perfect!

Aidan was the most helpful and flexible host, nothing was too much trouble. A very professional and likeable man. The pool was great, parking easy. Peaceful, loved the ice machine, the apartment was spotless.

The room & bathroom in our opinion was old fashioned and needs updating, we have travelled a great deal, in this day and age a small bath is very 1970’s & the air con on a cable is very impractical when you want to change the temp in the night. Money invested in the property with Aidan&Alex at the helm would guarantee more return business.

self contained unit. comfortable to get to, had bbq facilities, swimming pool. Aidan was very helpful in planning our holiday given the restrictions due to the cyclone (although still in Jan there were no crocs!).

inaccessibility to beach towels after 6pm. don’t was hard to be back from a days outing and when preparing for the next day, thinking that you need towels, it wasn’t possible. (and i didn’t want to ring the emergency bell for this). Needed to pay for washing machine, why? 2nd bedroom only had a fan and no air con.

Excellent facilities that were well maintained, spacious and clean. Very convenient to have a little kitchen sink, kettle, toaster and microwave. We had one of the rooms that had a window right out to the rainforest! Lovely friendly staff who gave us some excellent tips on where to visit. Reasonably priced and fairly central location in Port Douglas - just a short drive from the main shops. We would definitely stay again and recommend it

We made the mistake of leaving the light on in the bathroom overnight and had an influx of insects - definitely not the fault of the property, just a tip for other travellers given how close you are to nature.

It’s comfortable, accessible, and the staff members are friendly and helpful. I didn’t feel that they’re trying to sell me a tour, rather recommended a wide variety of options. You can cook inside the room which is convenient. Coffee and milk are not refilled daily unless you ask reception before 11:00 am, which can be inconvenient. Also reception is not always open. Appart from that I think our experience there was great and I’d definitely recommend it.

The room was great, everything essential. The property had good facilities, I appreciated the washing machine and ice machine. The pool was relaxing. The staff were very friendly and helpful, providing us with recommendations and information about the town.

The kitchen was very basic, it was difficult to prepare food. The weather is presumably always hot, but a blanket for the bed would have been nice too.

Very well maintained and clean. Covered parking very close to rooms. On site laundry. City centre, (and Coles) within 30 minutes walk, (approx.). Bottle shop within 10 minutes walk, (approx.) Coffee shop / restaurant within 25 minutes walk, (approx.) Attractive, small pool, (nice temperature and depth). Good Aircon & powerful ceiling fan in the room. Overall, a nice motel at which to spend the night and good value for money.

Shower water pressure. Despite being told "it was normal", I thought that the pressure was too low and so it did not meet my expectations, (the only reason I could not give full marks for facilities above). Note: Other customers who do not like a "powerful" shower might disagree. Hopefully, the problem which i have mentioned can be improved prior to my next visit. Everything else except the views from the room exceeded my expectations.
