The property is situated in a beautiful rural location with nature all around. It was in easy driving distance to town and tourist destinations. Having light activities on site was a bonus too- feeding goats, interacting with friendly cattle, walking freely around the property, outdoor games and wine tasting all easily accessible. There was undercover car parking for our vehicle and the opportunity to enjoy a barbecue. We also enjoyed being able to light our first fire for the cooler season, which gave an extra feeling of comfort and coziness. Even the small persimmon patch with cattle grazing amongst the trees and against and the light of the sunset was truly delightful to see.Super!

The extra blanket needed a wash. Perhaps a larger table on the deck of the cabins, however we were able to easily move small table in the cabin to the deck and back again after we’d finished. Another fold out suitcase holder would be helpful too.

Very comfortable cabins in a great location. We travelled as a family with 12yr and 11yr old daughters. We slept on a king size bed and the girls slept on the double sofa bed, all very comfortable. Cosy cabins with a nice fireplace to keep us warm. We stayed for two days, and had planned to eat out for lunch and dinner. The property is only 5 mins from Stanthorpe. A continental breakfast is included with a nice loaf of bread from the local bakery with facilities to make tea and coffee. The complimentary bottle of red wine was a very nice touch and welcome after a long drive!! It was a very peaceful property, with friendly goats for the kids to feed. We love this region and would happily stay there again. We highly recommend.

What a beautiful place. The cabins are wonderful with a very comfortable king bed, small but functional kitchen and well laid out bathroom. Reverse cycle air conditioning was great and the wood combustion heater was a real bonus. Even undercover parking which was unexpected but welcome in -2 degree weather. The grounds were well kept and lovely to look out over the fields including the dam and the animals.

I would have liked to see under-floor heating in the bathroom. I'm always surprised that this is not standard in new-builds in locations subject to extreme cold. The continental breakfast supplied was adequate but not inspiring.

What was there not to like. Comfortable king-sized bed. Kitchenette compatible with coffee machine. Bathroom sizeable / shower excellent hot water. View from balcony peaceful and quiet. Ninja's daily visits as we were missing our own two felines. No noise from other mini houses even though they were occupied. Close proximity to town but far enough away to be peaceful.

Would have liked a pair of scissors!!! to cut the bacon and sausages from pre-closed packaging. The ingredients for the cooked breakfast (extra cost was worth it) - sausages could have been a 'little' smaller they were huge. Just a thought - the cupboard next to the microwave could have been located attached to the hanging closest, it was difficult for a small person (myself) to reach the utensils in the cupboard in situ.

This beautiful estate far exceeded our expectations. The cabin was just lovely, cosy but plenty of room for two. We adored the fireplace and the complementary wine was perfect after a long drive. There are loads of restaurant options in Stanthorpe, which is only a short 5-10 minute drive or you can use the barbecue and gas pizza oven on site to cook for yourself and take advantage of the multiple picnic tables or eat on your own front deck.

Very little. If I was being very picky, I'd want there to be blinds on the side windows as it got a bit light as soon as the sun rose, but it's nothing an eye mask wouldn't solve.

Loved the animals and being able to feed them. They also loved the games out side as well. The breakfast each morning was fantastic for what we needed as we left at 7am for racing.

Just thought their could off been a heater in each room. Even if it was just an oil heater. That would off made our trip perfect. Even though we had a fire place and main heater in the lounge room. The rooms were so cold. We shut doors at night for privacy as we had 3 seperate families. The blinds in the room need cleaning as they were full of dust.

Excellent value for money. Great that it was out of town, which suited us. All extras including a bottle of wine and continental breakfast provisions much appreciated. Especially the local apple juice! Well made log burner ready to go. Dietary required well catered for and not a problem. Wine tasting with lots of excellent wines to choose from. Nothing to fault….except the weather. We will return for sure.

Nothing….suggest you take cake, if you have a sweet tooth, would be the only thing.

This was our second stay at Ridgemill Estate and it was as lovely as we remembered from our first visit. The cabin was clean, cozy and comfortable and the staff were fantastic. Really comfortable bed. We really enjoyed our wine tasting and the gentleman who looked after us went out of his way to show us wines that were to our taste. We really appreciated being able to stay with our golden retriever too. We would definitely return when visiting Stanthorpe again.

The estate is beautiful and perfectly located for day trips into Stanthorpe or Girraween. The friendly goats were a joy to feed. It was so relaxing being able to sit and enjoy a glass of wine while the kids played on the expanse of lawn and watched them pat and feed the goats. The house was comfortable, fully equipped and spacious for our stay as a family. The night sky was spectacular and beat watching any movies hands down.

Location was an easy drive to Stanthorpe. Everything thought of in cabins, including having the fire ready to go. Well designed cabins, privacy from adjoining cabins. Lovely to walk around the winery to capture the stunning sunset

A heater in the bathroom, it was below freezing a made showering a challenge . Breakfast supplies could be a little more luxurious. The cabin was luxurious and we felt the breakfast supplies were more of basic motel.
