Loved the little country friendliness of staff member even though the internet was playing up she kept a smile on her face while solving the problem and apologising for it even though it was not her fault. I was very impressed when my husband told her the beer she just poured was warm she quickly went to the fridge and asked which stubby he would like as she then noticed the keg system had been switched off from the night before staff, she then gave that stubby to him on the house and explained it was her first day and shift. I forgot to get your name but you were a champion at making us feel comfortable while we could see you were slowly dying on the inside with embarrassment because that was a rough first shift for you, and no manager or owner there to see you through their establishments flaws. Very impressed with your problem solving and people skills, the place will do well with you there 👍

The only thing we could really complain about is the bed was way to soft for us both, and I normally like a softer mattress my husband not so much he prefers them firmer being ex military he could sleep on the ground anywhere, which he almost had to do as it made our hips and backs ache from the sag. Other than that, we loved the place. Maybe a thin piece of ply wood put between the mattress and ensemble could save a lot of backs and hips 🤔 just an idea 💡

The bathroom and bedroom were both much larger than we expected, and we were able to relax comfortably. The kitchen supplies were more extensive than we had imagined from the photos, making cooking easy. The complimentary cookies were shortbread, which we love! The motel also had a very large refrigerator and a water dispenser, perfect for a long stay. The lady at the front desk was very kind. It was also helpful that the washing machine and dryer for guests were free to use. When we were stopped by a police officer in town and mentioned that we were staying at Golfer’s Inn, he said, 'Congratulations, you’re staying at a great place!'

This was an amazing property! I've stayed in many places before, and this was the cleanest, most well-kept property by far! The rooms are huge! Enough area the kids could move around freely and have their own spaces as needed. Very family friendly! Heating worked 100%, kitchen was well stocked with utensils etc. And nothing was dirty! The entire room was spotless! Tegan was amazing navigating a short power issue (property lost power for just over 1 hour). She bought us torches and kept us updated with the progress of the repairs. Thank you! Will stay again if we are travelling through.

Right from check in was amazing Amazing little cottage feel.room that was extremely well presented and had everything we needed to make our stay delightful would certainty stay again Best part was the surprise of complimentary tea,coffee(real beans) and hot chocolate from the coffee machine Beds were super comfy, hot shower, nice kitchen area and heating we had cabin 2 with 2 adults and 2 kids enough room for everyone Love the outdoor seating area and option of breakfast

Easy check-in. A nice little upgrade was definitely appreciated as we were travelling with small children. The two bedroom family unit was exceptional. Very spacious, clean and tidy. Everything you could need in regards to kitchenware. Full sized fridge. We enjoyed the outdoor areas for the children to run around

Paper thin walls - can here what’s going on in the adjacent room and can hear the trucks/cars outside - right next to the highway so be prepared to listen to nighttime trucks.

Lovely little place, on the edge of town. The unit was very adequate with 2 separate sleep areas and a small kitchen and bathroom, pleasant surprise. Grounds beautifully kept and a quick drive to the golf club for dinner. Friendly staff and able to check in early which enabled me to go and hike Bald Rock in the afternoon, thank you!

Liked that it was a bit out of town and couldn’t hear trucks that go through town and past a lot of other motels in town. We had studio apartment and it had big comfy bed, very large bathroom with great hot water. Free filtered water which was a bonus after all the weird water we had been drinking throughout our travels. Also kitchen dining was separate and full kitchenette to self cater. Large parking space outside door.

People next door who liked to stay up drink and smoke outside next door room. Just our bad luck as these people were travelling for work so normally this probs wouldn’t apply.

The receptionist was friendly. She upgraded me to a family room, which was very spacious for one person. It had 2 bedrooms, one with a large double bed and one with 2 single beds. This would be very ideal for a family stay. It had a warm, inviting feel about it. The double bed was very comfortable. The kitchen / living area and bathroom were very generous in size as well.

Great location, quiet and clean rooms. Air conditioning also meant the rooms were warm. Staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay again!

The bathroom window didn’t close properly and it would have been good if there were some thicker blankets available.
