The Hotel is in a great location. The room we had was spacious and included a lounge. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. They had a pool area that was well maintained and a great place to chill out. The owners were also very friendly and went out of their way to ensure all our needs were met. If you wanted to catch a bus down to the Strand, the bus stop was a short walk away. Would highly recommend.

From the moment I entered reception, I was welcomed with a warm, friendly smile. This family-owned business made me feel as if I had been invited into their home. The pool area was beautiful and spotless, with plenty of shaded seating and a BBQ area. There was also a smaller, shallow pool under cover, perfect for young children. When I arrived, my room was pre-cooled, and I was even offered a complimentary upgrade to a ground-level room due to the stairs and my pregnancy—something I hadn’t requested. This thoughtful gesture truly showed how much the staff cares about their guests.

A bit more privacy from the main road could make things even better as is on a fairly busy road.

huge room with excellent facilities, even had an air fryer which made cooking quick and easy to clean up afterwards. Whole apartment was clean and everything worked. The water pressure in the shower was wonderful. Loved having the balcony to dry swimming gear after a dip in the pool.

When we arrived reception was closed for an hour for lunch so had to wait by the pool to check in. Website said if you arrive early you can leave your bags and go off to explore but as reception was closed, we were not sure how that was possible. Two other sets of people were also waiting. The pool was a lovely area to wait but perhaps one of the cleaners could be available just to store bags.

Easy to check in and the staff were very friendly. The cleaners did an amazing job when tidying my room. The air-conditioning was the best part it cooled the room down down quickly. I liked the size of the bathroom. It was easy to go outside for a cigarette and they provided ashtrays for guests. The staff made you feel welcomed and they didn't pry on guests. I always got a friendly smile from all the stagg which was comforting. As I travelled alone I felt safe and secure in my room. I did not hear other guests so the walls are nice and thick. I liked that they provided some dishwashing liquid so that I could clean my cups, plates and cutlery. The pillows were quite comfortable which was good.

I would of liked some extra toilet rolls as I only had half a roll. The bed is not very comfortable but you do get use to it. The window curtains are not long enough which was a little uneasy as people can peek in if they wanted to. Although it was spacious I would of liked a small sofa to sit on to watch TV rather then at the end of my bed. Although the bathroom windows were high there was no blind or curtain which would benefit the bathroom.

The property was in an excellent location right in town especially on the weekend when we could stroll down to the markets on Flinders Street. I stayed in a pet-friendly room with my accredited Assistance Dog which was lovely not to have to worry about constantly vacuuming up his hair being a tiled room on the ground floor. The room itself was nice, the bathroom was a little dated but functional and comfortable. The staff were friendly and approachable apart from one small issue.

Despite being an accredited Assistance Dog and being in a ‘pet-friendly’ room there were notices saying pets were not allowed on the beds - given that my Assistance Dog alerts to low blood sugar during the night there is a genuine need for him to be on the bed and although I tried to communicate this to staff they were adamant about the rule. I understand the extra laundry involved in having a pet on the bed but as I tried to explain, it is part of his work.

Position of motel was really good. Quiet at night. Close to everything. Pets are allowed on the property which was lovely to see. I asked for a downstairs room with a walk in shower, this was provided for me. Parking is on a first arrive basis however there is plenty of parking, not undercover. Pool area was fantastic and well used by visitors. The complex is well lite at night which was appreciated. Room size was good. Bathroom and shower products provided. Air conditioner worked well. Laundry provided on site as well, $2 for washer, same for dryer. Reception staff are amazing. No ask was too much trouble. Very accommodating, pleasant.

Room was a little dated. Block out curtains, bathroom sink worn, neither affected my trip though. The bed was uncomfortable. It had a spring mattress which I felt each time I moved or rolled over. I did hear mattress were being upgraded, some rooms already had new ones. It was a little disappointing to find out rooms do not get serviced daily. That said, on the fifth day I asked for my room to be serviced and it was done for me, smelt amazing and looked great when I got back. Anytime I requested clean towels, hand towels etc, these were provided to me no problem at all, along with shower gel, anything else I required. Shower pressure could have been better.

Good location 5 min walk from CBD, supermarket and cafes (City Lane is good, and a few minutes extra walk was the excellent Pedlars Project for brunch and lunch). Strand Beach is a 10 minute walk. The motel isnt 'new' but we had a superior room which was fine and was perfectly clean. It's on a big road but quite quiet as not much traffic and on the weekend it is even more quiet being in the 'government' area. The staff were excellent and helped us with a couple of things 'above and beyond'.

Nothing

The property is in a great location, central to everything, but still on the fringe of the CBD, so not so busy. Woolies is just a stones-throw away, which is handy to pick up some steaks to cook in the fantastic BBQ area. The room was comfortable, with everything needed for a comfy stay and a great price. The best thing about the property - the staff. Wonderful owner-manager who was very kind during our stay, and the same goes for the staff working there. Top-level chaps, friendly and chatty. By the way, the swimming pool is awesome.

The internet can be a little slow - but that's really it.

The location was central to ammenities, the city centre. The bedroom and bathroom were clean and very comfortable. The balcony provided enough space and comfort to enjoy the weather. The staff were professional, polite, hospitable , and provide helpful information on the area that was accurate and informative when I asked. Hospitality at its best whilst maintaining a professional manner. The location and staff maintains a very high regard for the peace and quiet to their hotel guests, to ensure a comfortable stay.

Did not stay long enough.

The room was spacious, well equipped, quiet and comfortable. It was very clean, and air conditioned on arrival which was a very welcome relief from the heat. There was very convenient parking right outside of our door. We travelled with our small dog and there were zero issues - pet friendly and easy. We didn’t get to use the pool but it looked lovely. I also noticed a laundry remove available for use which we didn’t need but which I imagine would be very handy. Trevor at the front desk was friendly and responsive and accomodating of our after hours check in and out. It was a very comfortable stay for the price and convenience - particularly given it is so difficult to find places which are pet friendly.
