The driveway into this little village was amazing and gave us a Happy feeling of peacefulness and relaxation. The area was clean and beautiful with many blooming plants. This continued into our lovely accommodation, which was clean, fully ready for our short stay, the bed was comfortable, the amenities were clean and worked well, no drips or cracks. The birds were singing or chirping all the time, giving a peaceful ambience. Each room was a little separate home, prepared just for each holiday maker or tourist.

We had two bedrooms which were very spacious and tasteful. The beds were very comfortable. Our Host Emily was brilliant and organised a booking for a meal for us at the local hotel where the food was great and the atmosphere welcoming. The landscaping was so pretty with so many flowering plants and the ducks and chickens were very entertaining. Overall, we loved our stay and would return if visiting Tasmania again. Ross is a great place to visit.

Between the two rooms was a small fridge and microwave and tea making facilities. The only sink was in the bathroom so dishes had to be left outside to be washed.

The manager of the hotel was very helpful with good advice for us about exploring the area. The room was exceptionally clean with everything we needed being provided. We also had a very comfortable king sized bed which was much better than most. I liked the location of the hotel on the river. I experienced Ross to be a very sleepy town, even in the height of summer. We enjoyed walking in the town to enjoy the beauty, but having a base to go out to the coast and back, or head north for the day. Sunset in this town is absolutely magical, and it has a surreal feel about it that I have never experienced anywhere else, even in Tasmania.

Lovely space with 2 large bedrooms and bath and a kitchenette, and front porch with seating and table. Very clean and modern furnishings with luxury linens and comfortable beds. Such a fabulous receptionist. We were given a very friendly greeting and local information. Ross is a quaint town with historic buildings and wonderful shops and cafes. The High street is just a block walk from the motel. We had a great sleep as it’s a very quiet location. Highly recommend! V

Great motel walking distance to everything in Ross. Room was clean and very comfortable for an overnight stay. Breakfast with a range of options was included in the tariff. Ross is a good stopping off point on the journey from Hobart to Devonport. Food options were limited on the night we stayed, but the manager let us know what was available.

Emily was/is lovely and very friendly & helpful - I will be recommending this motel (Location) to friends & when/if we return to beautiful Tassie we will certainly return because of friendliness and helpfulness and quality of motel room and surrounds & beautifully located in the heart of Tassie.

Location right in Ross. Quiet room and quaint surroundings.

When you arrive there is no one in reception. You must call to find out what room you have been assigned. Our problem is that our phones were not working properly so luckily another guest was there and we used their phone. Later we saw that in town there is a free pay phone. Maybe that could be mentioned or posted on the reception door. It was really not a big deal and not any reflection on the facility.

We were contacted by reception regarding check in, booking our evening meal for us and details needed for arrival. Staff were very helpful and provided great information of the town. The rooms were clean, tidy and super comfy beds! The little kitchenette had everything you need and walking distance the all that is for offer in Ross. Will drfinitely stay longer next time!

Great first impression with a beautifully landscaped, neat and tidy motel. The room, although a little worn, was neat and tidy, the shower was great, and the beds were very comfortable. Very peaceful and so quiet to sleep. Very convenient to everything in Ross with a lovely spot to sit and watch the sunset just across the road from the driveway. We didn't get to meet the staff in person due to our arrival and departure times, but they were quite friendly and responsive via text.

A diagram to support the written instructions for the parking spot would have been great, just to clear up any ambiguity over which spot was ours. The room was quite bright to sleep in - the curtains were worn and sagged down from the rails so they didn't block the light effectively, and the white light of the lamps outside the front door was very bright even though the blinds over the door. We would have loved a way to turn off the front lamp, or a partition to close off the entry/kitchenette part of the room from the sleeping area to cut back on the brightness, as we kept waking up during the night thinking it was dawn. The ceiling fan was a bit noisy (humming/buzzing) so we left it off, but the room was still reasonably cool without it.
