Perfect location for where we needed to go, easy to book, room had everything we needed. We were able to walk into town and the gardens/lake and the drive to our evening event was easy and close.

The blind, covering the window, particularly as there is an outside security night light. Whilst the blind worked; there's a gap around the edge which lets light in. It's only a minor issue, but if you're a light sleeper, then it can be distracting. A curtain similar to that on the sliding door side would be perfect.

Heating took awhile to set in The one and only cupboard available had a door missing so a bit hard to store luggage inside. Electric blankets didn't work. Basic TV setting (no Netflix available) just free to air. Says daily house keeping but this only happens if you place the card on the door, we did not know this until 2nd day and when it did happen only bathroom was cleaned. Has what looked like a restaurant on-site but was never open or running.

Lovely, well-appointed rooms. Really friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location - so easy to walk to shops, pubs, and a horde of food choices. 7-Eleven a few doors away. The beds were super comfy, and the rooms were spotless. The heater worked really well. Water pressure in the shower was great. It is so great to have a kitchenette, including toaster and microwave. The little outdoor area was lovely as well.

The TV remote was a bit unresponsive - probably needs replacing.

I liked the location of the property and the layout of room & balcony/outside area. I was in a spa bath room and throughly enjoyed my relaxing time in it.

The only down side I felt the room I was In could of had a little table & chairs as I like to play cards/Board games, plus eat across from one another. But in saying that I was in a luxury room which had a comfortable two seater couch instead.

Lacking sense of security because there is only one simple button lock for the room door which can be opened from outside with key. The chain lock was removed - good to reinstall back for better security for the guests

The hotel staff provided exceptional service during our stay. They proactively reached out to us before our arrival and maintained excellent communication to ensure that we had an enjoyable experience. When we encountered a vehicle issue, a member of the staff went above and beyond to assist us in fixing it, allowing us to make the most of our time and enjoy our visit. We are truly grateful for their outstanding service.

Great location close to town and the train station plus opposite the Bulla Ice-cream factory. Very quiet room - No 9 with the spa bath and I had a couple of spa baths over the four days. Barry and Judy on reception were very helpful and friendly making me feel very welcome. Thank you guys. The bed and room was very comfortable and everything worked well. Great to have a microwave and cutlery crockery to use. I walked everywhere from there - to the lake, botanic gardens, library and aquatic centre (you can also catch a bus there if you come by train. Front and side gardens were great and well looked after.

From the back of the room, the garden around the trees needs weeding and it would be nice to get some coloured flowers there in the garden bed behind the room.

I found the gentleman in the office to be one of the most welcoming staff members compared with many others we encountered on our recent trip through Victoria. The room was very spacious and comfortable with the best bathroom of any motel we stayed at on our recent road trip.

There were a few noisy chaps outside in the carpark on our night there but luckily they settled down soon after 10 pm.

Very clean and well maintained. Responsive stuff member. Vi has been very lovely and helpful. You can watch Netflix, Stan and everything for free when you just want to sit in the room and relax after a whole day driving.

There is nothing that we did not like. A great experience and a reasonably priced motel!

Convenient, quiet location close to centre of town. A basic room with some updates. Comfortable bed with quality linen. Small fridge, microwave, crockery and cutlery enable you to make own breakfast and a cuppa.

Tiles on bathroom floor became slippery when wet. Shower head positioned quite low so is difficult for a taller person. TV screen a bit small for distance from bed. If you have mobility issues, you may consider requesting a downstairs room.
