The staff was extremely friendly and helpful (Thank you, Rachel). And the location couldn’t be better because the free tram zone to the city starts just crossing the street. Also, the rules of the place made everything work peacefully and respectfully between the guests.

One of the two bathrooms of my floor broke down during my second day and sadly, until the end of my stay, this wasn’t fix. As one can imagine, with only one bathroom for many guests the cues in the morning were sometimes long. Wish this could have been fixed sooner.

I found the staff very welcoming and helpful, the facilities clean (very clean actually by usual hostels standards) and the beds confortable with clean sheets. The Wi-Fi is good, there's enough showers and water pressure for several people at the same time and a fully equipped kitchen. Most of the guests in here are students/workers and everybody plays by the rules to maintain the place in a decent state. Good atmosphere and friendly people as well. A very good value for its price, I would definitely recommend Carric.

This is of course independent from the hostels staff, but there is unfortunately a very noisy bar right next door that stays open all night long during the weekends... Prepare your earplugs !

Facility n location was just excellent

Not much of a factor but a loud music from neighbouring establishment is over herd with in our room but besides anything else ,, its all well.

It's a nice Hostel located right next to Victoria market. You can also easily walk or catch the free tram to the city centre. The bedding was one of the fluffiest and coziest ever. Curtains on the bed offer privacy and there were fans if it gets hot. The Hostel has a kitchen and a terrace to hang out. You can do laundry and printing inside the hostel although it might be a bit more expensive than outside.

The hostel is not that modern, so if you need something more fancy this might not be your thing.

The location is great. Just 2 mins walk from the hostel to Queen Victoria market tram.

Breakfast was not offered. I did not asked for a quiet room, but my first dormmate was really worry that I might not know how loud the neighbour's patron might be. The dining room is very lovely. The kitchen and bathroom were relatively very clean most times.

The patrons of the neighbour use foul language quite often and quite loud. There were also voices that were worry that some of them might have mental issues, bad mouthing others, who might be staying at the accommodation at time, while stating their reasons and try to justify their quick mindedness to go beyond their pay grade and or authorisation (eg: talking about foreigners, assuming that their laws are what have been assumed by them). At times, there were smoky odour that can creep into the room. Some might be from the neighbour.

Location is great. Facility is kept clean. Staff are helpful. Kitchen is great.

Price could be reduced a little bit. Stairs are hard to move luggage but staff are helpful to help. Noise on next door bar, but closing windows help.

Great location，right next to Victoria market，last stop if free tram zone. Kitchen and bathroom are clean. Very friendly reception and night staff. I stayed in 4 beds female dorm，and the dorm was much bigger than I expected.
