Excellent location and only a 900meter walk to and from the racetrack which was the reason for our trip. Room was a good size, the beds and pillows were great in fact we had been travelling for 2 weeks and it was the best night sleep I had had for the whole trip. The manager was super friendly. They offered complimentary breakfast which was a nice touch. The pool was awesome!

Very clean and good value for money. All basic needs are in there. Been there for 3 nights on a holiday with family to cover see all attractions nearby. So, we were all day and back to the motel at sunset. Complimentary breakfast (coffee, juice, toast, cereals) were provided, too. The owner is very polite and friendly. .

Shower could have been a little bigger. It's too small and not enough room. Fridge works but not cool enough.

We booked 6 rooms because nothing was available in Halls Gap. It's a value for money. Rooms have all the required facilities including, bedding, towels, toilet rolls, airconditioning, iron, microwave, tea sachets, delux rooms have the 2 seater sofa too. Staff was nice. Free breakfast includes different cereals, white and wholemeal breads, various jams, honey, peanut butter, butter, coffee (remember to turn the warmer on), fruits, and various tea sachets. Halls Gap is only 18 mins away from the property.

Rooms from 1 to 5 are noisy because the property is on the main road (yeah I know that's why it's a motel). Pool wasn't cleaned.

Excellent value for money. Great family room. Convenient location. Road noise wasn't too noticeable. Handy to be able to enter a code and have our key drop so we could check in late.

Mattresses were a little too firm for our liking.

This property was well priced, very comfortable and in a central, easy to find location. Really nice self serve breakfast of toast, cereal, juice, tea and coffee. The room was very clean and well maintained. The pool looked nice too. The bed was very comfortable too. Really good service throughout the stay.

Only minor problem was the truck noise at night. The number of trucks may have been more than usual though as many roads in Victoria were shut due to flooding. Overall our stay was excellent.

Owner is nice and friendly. It was raining day and the BBQ place was dirty, I had just mentioned that we would like to use bbq and yes everything was well prepared after we were back from our trip 😇

The rooms are really nice. They have been updated and are very modern and well styled. The room was clean and comfortable. They offered complementary breakfast which was a really nice change for a country motel. We would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Stawell or just passing through.

Nothing, it was great.

Quite a large room for a motel, could easily fit another queen bed. The motel is old & some of the furniture has seen better days but most have been update & modernized, especially the bathroom. It has a well appointed & spacious kitchenette.

The location is right on the Western Highway so has lots of traffic noise during the day. Not so bad at night, not enough to affect my sleep, I had the far back corner room which helped.

Breakfast was continental and served in a comfortable area you could sit at tables and meet other guests. John was very welcoming. The room was clean. The booking met our needs. It is a little dated but it served our needs well.

Room was nice & clean, all appliances and electronics properly. As someone that works for a plumbing store, I could perhaps upgrade the tapware in the basin & shower but that's more nitpicky than anything. It's good value for money for a few night's stay for sure!

More of an aesthetics thing; probably would prefer a lighter shade of wall rather than the dark brick walls, but not a deal-breaker for comfort or anything. Just personal preference. Also the basin tap is actually sink mixer tap....wrong application! Still works fine, but thought it was amusing to see (as someone that works in a plumbing store!)
