The location is excellent for the ski centre at Bad Gastein. A nice heated area for your boots and skis at the rear. Right across from the railway station and beside the spa. Room was clean and spacious and a nice balcony. Staff friendly and left luggage available too.

Breakfast is basic and the exact same every day. A few pastries and more fruit and yogurt would be better. The bar and kitchen wasn’t open on this stay. It’s old school place, so don’t expect glamour, but is clean and good value.

Close to the trainstation which was good and the room was big and clean and tidy. It got a balcony too which was a nice bonus. I arrived early but I could leave my bags at the hotel until check-in. The price was cheap so I didn’t expect this quality of the place. Pleasantly surprised.

The breakfast was very basic and simple but for the price of the room including breakfast I don’t want to complain.

This accommodation is extremely well priced. We obtained three single rooms which were basic but very adequate. As a bonus, a decent continental breakfast was provided. Internet worked fine. We were travelling by bike and secure overnight storage was provided. Considering the cost of some of the accommodation in the area, I would definitely recommend these premises and would certainly stay again.

The premises are slightly run down but still very good for the price and should not discourage people from staying here.

I liked the price, the single room and balcony was spacious for one person, the staff were friendly, the bed was comfortable and there was a good cupboard to store everything

A fan turned on in the bathroom around 2300 and it was extremely loud and annoying. The breakfast was basic but I can’t complain for the price. The ski shed was also a bit far away, but it was okay.

The hotel is at a great location right by the train station, and near several bus stops as well as a Spar and a few restaurants. The room was comfortable and spacious enough, with a small balcony even. Everything was quite clean, and the toilet was comfortable.

The one issue with the room was that the entire bathroom floor got wet when using the shower, as there was only a curtain to keep the water inside.

The room was clean and quite big. The bathroom was clean. Nice balcony with mountain view. Breakfast was sufficient and everything was fresh. The hotel staff was very pleasant. The location of the hotel is excellent in the center. We certainly haven't been here for the last time. I recommend.

The location is great. At the top of Bad Gastein, do all the climb to reach it. Close to the way to Böckstein to catch the train through the Tauer mountains. Close to the cable car to reach the top of Stubnerkogel. Balcony in the room with view on the mountains. Secured hut for storing bikes. Friendly personnel. Very clean bathroom. There is a huge Eurospar right next to it, which is open everyday.

The breakfast is very basic and the food is of low quality. Ex. Fruit is only apples, there is only 1 type of cheese, coffee is made from those automatic machines (no real coffee, no real milk..). The bar charges 4.10e for a tea!

Fantastic location,very close to public transport,SPA center,big supermarket. Good breakfast,very friendly staff, good value for money.

All was good .I would suggest tea maker in the room.

Nice staff, clean room with balcony (view on the mountain), coffee was good. To reach the hotel from Italy side it was needed to travel with the car by train across the mountain tunnel (about 15 minutes), hotel is about 5-7 minutes by car from the station.

The youth hostel was in an excellent location, at the foot of the cable car up the mountain, and with beautiful mountain views. The room was comfortable and a nice, simple breakfast was provided.

Food smells from the kitchen found their way up into the bedroom, even though we left the window closed. The car park was too small; one time we really struggled to fit the car into one of the parking spaces; another time, there was nowhere to park and we had to park on the street and remember to get up and move the car before 8 am.
