Location the balcony right on to the Lake, access right into the water for a swim, sunbathing facilities, free parking right next to the property. The family that runs it are very welcoming and very helpfull with letting you know how to use the ferry that crosses the lake which takes you to the town on the other side.. They had wine and beer in a fridge and only asked for 3 euro per drink, nice beers too.

Balcony wood was looking in need of a little bit of wood stain, but that's probably me being a little picky, it did not detract from the stunning views and weather that we thoroughly enjoyed...

Lake view from room and breakfast area was beautiful. Room was very clean with comfortable beds. Room had plenty of space. A short drive to ski slopes. Free parking on mountain. Lots of restaurants. The pedestrian walk/shopping area in Zell am See was enjoyable.

Weak wifi connection in room but good in hallway and breakfast area. No elevator. Breakfast was continental and sufficient. Cereal, yogurt, breads, meats, cheese. No hot foods

Very cozy gasthause just above the lake. Breathtaking view to the lake and the mountains from the balcony.Nice patio to the guest where you can go swimming to the lake. Lot of storage in the room and table with chairs.

Would be nice to have a Rack in the bathroom in to dry the swimming suit. Too short stay in this lovely hotel. 😍

Friendly personal. Amazing lake view from room and from the restaurant. Breakfast is fine enough. As i understand there's bus available every morning if you want to leave hotel without own transport. Few minutes to go to any popular location on own car.

Bed mattresses better to change, i felt springs and this explained why i had my back hurt during stay.

I really loved that the hotel has a nice view. It's easy to access very easy to park. It has a ski room and a decent breakfast.

If the hotel wants to stay within this budget, the focus should be on the beds, as I found the sleep to be quite uncomfortable.

Great location next to the lake with perfect view over the lake and to the mountains and to Zell am See town. During our week the weather was mostly sunny and we had a clear view. The best part was new year's eve with its fireworks - I think we had the best spot to see them. Dedicated storage room for skis.

Parking spots are a bit tight. Would be nice to have a bit more variation on the breakfast.

Probably the best view by the lake, it has it's own 'beach'. At the breakfast you shouldn't expect warm meals except for boiled eggs, however the food was decent, which you have literally on the lake, in front of Schmiienhöhe. The boat station is 2 minutes walk.

Our room for five was very narrow, there was no chance to sit around one table. The hotel is a bit old, fü.

A perfect hotel located on the lake shore with a marvelous mountain view. The rooms were clean and big enought, comfortable beds, very well equipped kitchen in the appartment. Enough parking places in front of the hotel.

Missing clother dryer.

The accommodation on the shore of lake Zeller See (Zell am See - Thumersbach) was fantastic. Stunning views of the surrounding mountains. We only encountered smiling people at the hotel. It was a pleasant atmosphere.

Honestly. we found it the best Value for Money. i would definitely revisit it :)

the buses finish so early,so you must go back sooner than expected in the night time. but for Car users i guess not an issue
