If anytime in Cambodia, Raffles Hotel Le Royal is the place! Outstanding heritage architecture, outstanding staff, outstanding room and facilities, exceptional views in any direction, impeccable cleanliness and 24-hour organisation to keep you feel at home, satisfied and blissful. Locationwise, it is in the heart of Phnom Penh, yet in the safest possible area (very close - walking distance - to the US Embassy). Sightseeing and moving around the city can be flawlessly handled and suggested by extremely polite and smiling knowledgeable personnel. Yet, The Royal Palce, The National Museum, and other sites of interest are within walking distance, if one would prefer that! Restaurant, Bar, Pool Bar (there are two swimming pools), and room service provide first-class food and beverages. Ask anything, they have it!

I loved every piece, moment, and breath of it!

Luch Kong the manager was phenomenal. We needed to go to a local clinic to get stiches and he made our checkin effortless. He made the appointment, met us at the entrance, checked us in quickly and got us a tuk tuk to the clinic. Throughout our stay he checked in on us eventhhough it was his day off. The hotel itself is beautiful and timeless. It has old time French Cambodian architecture with beautiful classic finishes. The pool area is divine. I swam there every day. The restaurants are really great. We would definitely return to this hotel without hesitation anytime we are in Phnom Penh.

Hotel is designed nicely with services such as good all day dining menu, nice pool etc. Staff in Le Phnom restaurant very friendly. Carol concert over xmas was a nice touch.

I was surprised to see children were allowed in the Elephant bar - screaming and behaving very badly. This meant it was not possible to use or enjoy. There were also children playing games around the adult pool. I was expecting a really special experience at the hotel but I felt more welcomed at the Raffles Angkor Wat hotel if I am honest. It was a nice experience but on par with other nice hotels - this was meant to be a luxurious treat but it didn’t feel like that at times.

This is an outstanding historical hotel and staying here has been a wonderful experience. Everything about it is perfect. It is extremely elegant and all the staff are just fabulous. Our room overlooking the pool was beautifully appointed, and the smell of the frangipani blossoms below from the balcony was very special. All the facilities: the Elephant Bar, cocktails by the pool, the traditional dining room with piano player and the breakfast, were a memorable experience in their own right. The Hotel Le Royal in Phnom Penh is an exceptional place.

This hotel is an oasis in the hustle and bustle of Phnom Penn. A truly elegant hotel that oozes class and sophistication without being pretentious. The Elephant Bar, Dining Room were excellent with the breakfast room stealing the show. We absolutely loved it. The swimming pool was idyllic with comfortable loungers and loved the extra touch of your own lotions and creams at each bed. Rooms were spacious and well equipped with at our request a balcony over looking the city. We will most definitely return some day!

During my stay at the Raffles Hotel in Phnom Penh, I was impressed by several aspects of the hotel that made my stay exceptional. Firstly, the location of the hotel is unbeatable, making it an ideal starting point for exploring the city. The rooms were not only very comfortable and well-equipped, but the entire building impressed with its beautiful design that skillfully combines traditional and modern elements. I would like to particularly highlight the room service, which was first-class. The cleaning was done very neatly and with great attention to detail, making one always feel welcome and well cared for. Additionally, the breakfast was of high quality, offered a rich selection, and was varied enough to cater to every taste.

However, there was an aspect of my stay at the Raffles Hotel in Phnom Penh that fell short of expectations: the much-talked-about butler service. Despite its reputation, the service was virtually inaccessible to us. While we were greeted very kindly upon arrival, that was the extent of the personalized service we experienced. Unfortunately, at our departure, the individual who was supposed to be our dedicated butler was not available. This absence was disappointing, as it left us feeling somewhat neglected and without the bespoke attention that had been anticipated.

It’s a stunning property with beautiful, comfortable rooms and very tranquil pool.

I expected better customer service. It did not feel five star. I understand English is not a first language but I’d expect reception and boutique staff to speak it. No one asked how our stay was, could they get us a taxi, how our cocktails were etc. Also the breakfast was very poor for the money. Undercooked eggs and overcooked pastries. Good service there however. Mosquitoes at the pool are an issue and the internet is very shaky. It’s also more adult focused and not much to do for children. For the reputation the property itself did not disappoint but the service was not as one would expect. Still enjoyed our stay. Just leaving feedback.

very small rooms, absolutely no wardroom which meant living from your suitcase. Apart from that: horrible staff, busy bowing to you all the time instead of solving selfmade problems: I booked the hotel especially as it offered late checkout until 6pm. Already when we checked in I was told that late checkout is only until 4pm. I told him it is not true and he should check my booking.com conditions. He again told me I am wrong. Staff was after me about 4 times for this and not able to check. I wanted to send them the conditions via email but contact menue page on their website did not work . Had to walk to reception in the end and show them proof. This went on and on during my stay. Utterly unprofessional and annoying.

Everything about this place was fabulous! The team really looked after us and were always there with a smile and a kind greeting. The breakfast even remembered what we had to drink. The property itself is in a great location and the facilities are some of the best we have ever stayed in. The pool is gorgeous and the bar is absolutely brilliant - along with the team. Thanks Tomas, Jason and the rest of the team for taking care of us! The best!

This hotel was excellent and the standard you expect from a Raffles. The welcome and service were attentive and friendly, the room was spotless and well appointed, and the bed was comfortable. I'd definitely stay again and recommend

Honestly everything was great. If I was being incredibly pedantic I'd say that the shower supplies are not very securely placed and a bit fiddly to access, but that was such a small thing compared to everything else being perfect
