Very clean and modern in a great area near the river, wats, post office, markets and palace. Great restaurants in the area. No street noise despite the busy location. The room was massive and had great air conditioning All the staff were friendly Also had an elevator

On first arriving the room had a musty sewerish smell but the staff must have detected this also and placed an aromatherapy candle in the bathroom and opened up the water line. Never smelt it again

Air conditioning not sufficient for size of premium rooms. Staff kindly offered me option to leave on 24/7. Property is too hot. Issue needs addressing. Bathroom a little tired. Bathtub marks made getting in not a priority. Outside late night noise a mild annoyance

A very good small,quiet hotel in an excellent location close to many lively bars. The Riverside Loft room was huge with a large balcony overlooking the river. I would highly recommend booking one of these rooms. This hotel is brilliant if you need a very nice, secure room in an excellent location, but not if you expect more facilities as it has no pool, bar or restaurant, which suited me. All of the staff are wonderful and very friendly and helpful.

Booking.com false prices when we booked Advertise in Australian dollars and have to pay in US$ then a 3.5% surcharge when paying it plus a conversion surcharge of $96 Plus their rate This is the second and last time I will deal with Booking.com

Fabulous location , huge room with balcony to sit on , relax and watch the world go by .

The staff were very nice , helped us source Tuk Tuk for trips etc . However , they seemed inconsistent with information. We asked about getting to the Giant Ibis bus station for travel to HCMC and one told us to book a grab which is fine and what we did but the receptionist on duty the morning we left told us that they could have called the Giant Ibis office who would have sent a car for us . This would’ve been much more helpful as there are two offices and tourists could easily end up at the wrong office to catch their bus .

Having been a bit unlucky with my previous bookings in Phnom Penh, staying at Tao Residence definitely was a score! The most positive aspect of the whole stay are the very helpful and always cheerful staff, who give the Residence a homy atmosphere. A pleasant surprise was the huge and very comfortable room, though it was noted that the room I got assigned was quite recently renovated. Overall, an absolutely pleasant experience. Will be looking forward to return sometimes in the near future.

There is little the property can do about it but once you decide to stay in this area (Riverside promenade, pubs and bars area) it will never be the most quiet environment for a stay in Phnom Penh. Also, in the neighbourhood some constant construction works may occur anytime, even in the middle of the night.

We loved the care provided by staff members. The space in the apartment was wonderful and location was perfect to observe New Year's Eve celebrations. There are all restaurants and shops with many options of food, so you can grab breakfast downstairs or order via Grab app.

the staff was really friendly, he got us a sim card and helped install it. the airco wasn’t working properly the first night so we told them and they repaired it immediately and called to ask if it was okay.

the hotel is located on a pretty rowdy street, there’s a lot of garbage outside and a lot of people. there’s also no window with view (there were two with view on other houses)
