Staff is kind and attentive, rooms are spacious and the hotel itself is nicely decorated. The host offered to give us a breakfast discount because we were staying for one month, they also offered to refund us the last two nights of our stay because our plans changed and our flight was now 2 days earlier. This was very kind from them given that we never asked for it and we understand they didn’t have to do that. During our last week, they also upgraded the wifi which was really nice because we work online. We also complained about the water pressure in the shower which was non-existent, and even though they tried to fix it several times, they could not find the root of the issue . We hope it’ll be fixed for the next guests.

The host asked us not to review him if the score was 8 or lower... Bathroom could be improved (toilet is getting yellowish and no water pressure). Also, the host was kind enough to book a taxi to the airport for us, which we paid in advance to the host. When we got to the airport, the taxi driver said that the host never paid him so we ended up paying twice for this taxi. Later on, the host excused himself saying he’d pay the taxi driver next time he sees him (at this point we are okay with the taxi driver keeping both payments since he was a really nice guy)

We stayed in room 214, a nice sized room, quiet location away from bar street and town but only a 10 to fifteen minute walk or $1 tuk tuk. Staff were nice and kept bags safely for us as we left siem reap 8pm and check out is midday. Breakfast is a la carte, portions on smaller size (good for weight management) but nice non the less. We ate dinner there one night, a recommended dish of pork and aubergine and a burger. Both were very nice although again, portions were quite small.

Small.thing but worth noting, I counted 13 rooms but there are only 5 dining tables and 5 sun loungers so people can, at peak times, have to wait for a table for breakfast and there are not always sun loungers available.

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Agati. Gilles, the owner, made us feel welcomed right away. He was always eager to help us navigate Siem Reap and open for any question. We spent a lot of time by the little pool and with the house cat Tom Cruise :) Villa Agati offers a really nice breakfast with fresh baguette and the ladies working in the kitchen are all super friendly. The rooms were spacious and comfy. As we extended our stay we moved from ground level to first floor which had a nice view over the neighborhood. The hotel is not directly in the center which we did not really mind but please be aware that it might make sense to get a scooter as walking to Siem Reap center takes a bit. We would highly recommend to stay at Villa Agati if you look for a place that is quiet and feels like a home rather than a hotel. Merci Gilles and team!

Not the fault of the hotel but as with many places in South East Asia, the room on the ground floor sometimes smelled a bit from the drain.

Wow! What a peaceful, comfortable, and hospitable place. The staff and owners are incredibly helpful and friendly, with all the information you could possibly need for a great visit to Siem Reap and Angkor. The room is big, comfortable, and very clean. The restaurant serves delicious food, defintitely try the recommended dishes on the menu. The pool is well maintained and a welcome sight after a long, hot day. Located in a quiet area, it's a quick and easy walk to the river and Pub Street. It is an amazing value, highly recommended. We'll be back for sure. And thanks to everyone for patiently teaching me Khmer.

The room was spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially Cola, who gave us a lot of information. The property was about 20 minutes walk to the center of Siem Reap (Pub Street, night markets, ATMs, restaurants and shops)

The lanes (we could not call them roads) around the property are dusty and potholed. It is not easy to find the first couple of times and it is easy to get lost searching for the place. Google Maps is not much help at times. Returning back to the property after dark was further compounded with a lot of barking stray dogs chasing you. It is safer to take a tuktuk if you are returning after dark.

We loved the personal of Villa Agati already after one minute. They will help you with all your needs. We loved the location of the Villa, because it was a little outside of the centre. We rented a motorbike and we explored the area. Siem Reap is an amazing place to discover. There are so many spots for breakfast, lunch and dinner. And ofcourse the city and surrounding bring so much cultural things to your attention. The breakfast at the hotel is fine then way it is. You can choose a couple types of breakfast and if you want to adjust that is also possible ❤️. We also enjoyed the very clean pool and the beds. Our room was very comfortable and spacious.

I had a wonderful stay at Villa Agati. It is a cozy boutique hotel. It is located a short 15-minute walk from the centre of Siem Reap. Yes, there are some barking dogs, as others posted. However, if you ignore them, they will leave you alone. The best thing about this hotel is the staff. They are friendly. They will do everything in their power to make sure you have an enjoyable stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

The staff was attentive they booked us a tour guide made our laundry and made sure we were ok with everything. The breakfast was good and freshly made. The Swimming pool is amazing to relax during the afternoon after the temple sightseeing.the garden outside is super cute and the lunch was very good.

To reach Villa agati there is a short grovel road to go through and many taxi and tuk tuk get lost, not sure why. However, once you learn the way, you can tell the drivers where to turn and it is honestly really close to the centre a few minutes with the tuk tuk that cost barely 1$. Internet wi-fi is quite slow, however we bought a SIM with data and we could use the PC to work :). Shower could be improved.

We spent a wonderful six nights in Villa Agati and wished we could have stayed for longer. Rooms are large, well appointed and very clean. The common areas have a charming plant-filled aesthetic which meant we loved spending down time relaxing in the villa and reading our books. The property is also well located, situated in a quiet part of town but within walking distance of ‘pub street’ and most restaurants. The on-site team of staff were helpful at all times and, perhaps most importantly, offer an extensive and reasonably priced food menu, which led to us eating in the hotel multiple times during our time in Siem Reap (a very welcome option after a day exploring the temples). The owner, Gilles, was also extremely accommodating and made a point of greeting us and offering advice throughout our stay, including helping to arrange transport to and from the sites of Angkor. We would highly recommend a stay at Villa Agati and hope to return one day.

We liked everything about the property!

We liked that its a small, quiet place out of the centre of Siem Reap about 25 min walk along the river into the centre. The room was huge, and we really liked having our own private terrace with loungers and parasol overlooking the pool area. We also liked being able to order food throughout the day. We had breakfast included, but we also ate lunch and dinner. It's great to be able to stay in to eat at the villa after a long day of sightseeing at the Angkor Wat complex. Gilles and Domi, the French owners, do not live on site but are around a lot to help you plan your visit if you need it. They can also book tuktuk drivers for the short and long circuit's of the Angkor Wat complex. We also enjoyed wandering around the markets in town. We especially liked Eila Greek kitchen for food at any time of day. We extended our stay and stayed for 6 nights.

It wasn't clear on the breakfast menu what was included and what was extra.
