Good location (in town); good room size and room is well appointed.

Hotel-provided parking spaces are a bit insufficient. We came back from dinner and all hotel provided parkings were full, and we were asked to park just outside hotel entrance at a desk staff’s instruction (and he came out to confirm where we parked was okay). But the next day a reception girl complained to us that we hadn’t parked properly ! She was quite rude and blamed us to be the party at fault. Unbelievable ! The bathroom is a bit dated. A bit expensive for the condition that it is.

We had to extend out reservation, due to the possible Air Canada strike. Mark did his best at attempting to keep us in the same room. This was not available. We checked our at 7:00 AM, Check out time is 11:00 AM. We booked a tour returned by 1:00 PM. Our room was not available. Given my husbands age he really required a rest. I had requested that they have our new room cleaned first. Once again Mark stepped in looked after this and we where settled in within in 10 minutes.

The room involved going up and down stairs to get to the destination, not a good choice for an 80 year old. Upon checking out I suggested to Mark to have the bath tub checked out. Well standing in the tub it was very spongy, it required additional adhesive under the top to stop the movement. There was not any grab bars in the shower. Mark did say all the washrooms along with rooms where schedule for a make over. If a grab bar was requested at the time of check in, it would have been provided. I trust grab bars will be placed in all bat/shower areas to meet code upon the renovation.

The location is great, walkable distance to the shops & eatries yet the Inn is kept serene and away from the crowd. We can park our car in the garage and walk out/take a bus out throughout our stay. Hot water, coffee and tea are provided at lobby. We doesn't have chance to use the swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi but overall a really pleasant experience for us. The staffs was really helpful and gave us an extra hour check out time when we request it on the morning itself. Oh yes, our 3rd floor accomodation has the best mountain view, we woke up with it everyday.

The pillow can be harder/firmer for us.

The room had lovely decor. It was very spacious and clean. The bathroom was pristine with the usual complimentary toilietries. The little balcony was great for a coffee in the morning or an eveing refreshment. The location was fantastic! Not quite in the centre of Banff making it a great spot to get a good night sleep. Restuarants, shops and public/tourisit transport were short walk away. It was the perfect location to stay in Banff.

There were no cups or glasses in the room only paper cups which was okay for a coffee. But not so good for drinking spirits with ice or soft drinks. We had to ask for a couple of glasses so that we could have a glass of wine or spirits for an evening drink.

Great location and nice room with balcony. Free underground parking was really nice. Our One-Bedroom Suite was really nice. You could completely close off the second room (darker and quieter for us as we had no one in the second bedroom).

Our room (on the 3rd floor) was not reachable without climbing 9 steps (after taking the elevator - the hotel isn't "level"). But a staff member volunteered to help us wrestle our luggage over this barrier. There was some construction noise, but, as they were undergoing exterior renovations, this was to be expected. They started at a reasonable hour, anyway.

Even after having received a notice about the upcoming reservation from Booking.com, when we arrived thr manager on duty said that the booking had been cancelled in March. This appears to have been a disconnect between the hotel and Booking.com due to a reclassification of rooms. The hotel was booked out but the manager was fantastic and reorganised a hotel executive into alternative accommodation and gave us an excellent room at the same cost as the one we had booked. He was so kind, cheerful and helpful as were all the staff during our stay. They made you feel like a friend.

Nothing.

Welcoming, friendly, courteous staff. Room was clean and comfortable, decent size. Lovely swimming pool, hot tubs and sauna. Ski storage convenient and secure. Ski and tour buses mostly stop right outside the hotel. Short walk to numerous restaurants and shops.

No breakfast room or lounge; I understand these will be available after refurbishment. One evening, unsupervised children aged 10 or 11 were allowed to disturb pool users by running and jumping in, despite the notices. The sauna never reached the ideal temperature - never above 130F, even after an hour of heating up. Light from various electronic devices, and around the door frame, disturbed my wife's sleep.

Great location right on Banff Avenue and a short walk from shopping and restaurants. Also, the ski shuttles to Sunshine and Lake Louise stop right in front! Room (small suite) was great for two women traveling together. The kitchenette allowed us to make our own breakfasts while preparing for skiing and helped keep us on time. The locks for the basement ski lockers were complimentary.

At the time of our visit, there was some construction going on so the onsite restaurant was closed. There were stairs to deal with to get our luggage from the elevator to our suite.

The facility was very clean and easily accessible, despite the renovations that were occurring at the time of our stay. Everyone we saw from the front desk to the housekeepers were very polite and always had a kind word and a good morning to say.

Renovations being done on the outside of the building, so it looked a bit messy, but renovations tend to do that. Check in time at 4 o’clock was a little bit late for us. We did request an early check-in, but due to the capacity they were unable to get our room cleaned prior to the 4 o’clock check-in so that was a bit disappointing.

Liked the lobby, warm and inviting, and the staff were super nice and very accommodating. Loved the tea and coffee always available in the lobby. The pool/hot tub area very nice view with large windows and very clean! It is in good proximity to the restaurants and shopping, while not being in a super busy spot.

The pillows for the beds were a bit hard for sleeping. There were also little stairs on the second and third level that we would have preferred be a ramp for suitcases and accessibility. The washroom was quite small in the queen superior room.
