Comfortable space and bed, nice products in bathroom

Check in process was very difficult to manage. Cell service can be tricky in the area and having a 100% online check in was frustrating. I had to make 3 or 4 phone calls to the staff who work off site in order to check in. The staff was helpful but the whole process was quite annoying!

Location was perfect - lovely coffeeshops nearby, great place to walk early in the morning. Easy access to Gary Point to watch the sunset. Our dog loved people watching right out the window.

Could have used a few extra blankets for comfort on the couch, or coffee maker instead of pods (or more pods in general for size of the suite).

Very nice place for families to stay. Saw pets there, and planning to bring ours here next time.

The washroom pipe is too noisy, especially for units downstairs. Was waked up every time when others flushing toilets.

Location and how clean it was.

Second bedroom door didn’t close properly unless you lifted it slightly by the handle while shutting it. No towel rack in the bathroom.

Location and proximity to walking attractions

Pay parking was low and hard to access. Would have like to have been informed ahead of time.

Location, new,clean , walkable to many restaurants on the waterfront.

Our phones would only work when placed right beside the outside door to the patio. We found the barking of the small dog in the unit beside us annoying. There is no one on site to contact about a barking dog. Other than that, the unit was perfect.

The self check in was an IQtest but I passed ! Instructions were clear but not clear enough when you’ve just got off a long haul flight! we managed to work out the codes find the car park then the entrance and finally the room . The online portal easy to use and staff very responsive to communication. Lovely peaceful surroundings to get out for fresh air and run in the mornings. Very well equipped and I love the kitchen and laundry facilities. Best coffee is at Sanctuary Cafe or at Steveston Coffee.

Couldn’t get the electronic key to work so ended up punching 6 digit code every time. Minor detail.

We had a lot of trouble entering the room. A hotel without an actual reception must make 100% sure it functions properly, and this one didn't for us. Three times we had to email and phone with the staff member on duty to receive new codes to enter the building and garage. As we are not Canadian citizens, we didn't have reception there so every time we couldnt open the door we had to turn back to a pub or restaurant with wifi in order to contact the 'on-line reception'. This was a real pain, especially for my elderly mother at 10pm... On the up side: they did manage to get us a code in the end and we got to have a good nights sleep thank god. Next time I will make sure to have a local phone with me!!!

I flew to YVR for work and usually stay at an Air bnb. This was far better! Beautiful location (quiet), safe, fantastic walking paths, and breathtaking views of the sunset. There is a grocery store nearby (Save on Foods) nearby, and restaurants to choose from for a good eat. It is approximately 15km from the airport and south of Vancouver, so if you have a car, this is a fabulous location to “come home too”. I lived in YVR for 14 years, and was impressed by how Steveston has grown and is super clean. Very quiet.

The digital key was complicated..too many steps, downloading apps to get a key. Re; underground parking: I sent three emails re: parking and did not receive an answer until the day of. The website should have the “option” to pay for parking while you are booking the unit, as there is no mention of parking garage on the website - it is only AFTER you book and read details. Should be an option on the booking page. There was street parking - but some municipalities have a three hour limit and this was not clear on signage on the street. Once this was all navigated and resolved, it was smooth sailing and I would stay and recommend the Steveston Waterfront Hotel and will definitely stay again.

Good location. Close to Vancouver Airport and within 5 minutes walking distance from Steveston Village, a lovely wharfside area with lots of good restaurants and shops. Room was spacious and very well appointed with two large and very comfortable double beds. Parking was available underground at a cost but it was fine to park right out front for no charge. Excellent for tourists like us who had a rental vehicle and were leaving the next day from the airport 15 minutes away. We went to Catch Kitchen for dinner and Breakfast Table for breakfast. Both were great.

Slightly annoying were the online check-in arrangements. General cell phone reception in the area was very poor indeed. The very helpful receptionist was very patient with us although it was all very difficult to get registered because of that poor reception. One other couple was also having the same issue. Unless the problems can be fixed technically it would be sensible always to have someone checking guests in. The fact someone was there is indicative of there being an issue.
