The free shuttle service was great but unfortunately I wasn’t able to take advantage of the breakfast so no comment on that. The room amenities in wall dispensers were much appreciated (soap, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion). Everything was clean and comfortable.

The price of some of the products for purchase were overpriced. And my main negative comment was that I was expecting to pay $134 at the hotel as per the online booking however I was charged $161 and it was charged to my card the night before. There was definitely a confusion between the internet reservation and the actual confirmation.

Super comfortable beds, very nice and clean room. Not huge but the bathroom was spacious and everything in the room felt thoughtful. Great vibes in the common area. The breakfast was simple but nice. It was perfect for our overnight stay between flights!

The shuttle driver was impatient and took off with one of my bags as I was helping one of my (three) kids for a moment - I had to call the hotel to have him come back and drop it off, and he had a lot of attitude about that. However the staff at the reception were great in all interactions, I'd stay at the hotel again.

From the moment you arrive the atmosphere feels like you're in a cozy family room. The front desk staff were very friendly and always had a smile on their face. I absolutely LOVE that you see the front desk as soon as you walk in. The shuttle driver was very courteous and fiendly, as well. The rooms were super clean and the decor was simple and relaxing. The king bed was very comfortable and the pillows were fabulous. There was a good variety of foods at breakfast. What a great place. Very highly recommend.

Absolutely nothing - perfect

The staff were great. They were very friendly, patient and informative. They knew the answers to my questions without hesitation. They did their jobs efficiently. The breakfast was great. The parking was free which was not the case for other airport hotels I looked into. The decor was kind of a funky vibe. It was pretty cool. I didn't use the gym or pool but they were available.

The only thing was the noise from the planes flying overhead but that was to be expected given the location which I chose due to the proximity to the airport.

The breakfast was amazing, the best breakfast of any hotels we have stayed at over our many years of travel.

The shuttle was a long wait as the one driver that arrived to pick up people said that he was not going to the Tru Hilton but only to the other hotel nearby. So we waited another 25 min. and he came back saying that he did not know why the other driver did not arrive yet. Then the other shuttle arrived, after us waiting for 45 mins. The hotel is located a 20 min. drive, which is farther than I had expected from the description on the website.

Decent value for money close to the Toronto International Airport. Check-in was easy and friendly and the staff was accommodating to any questions I had. Great to have an EV charging point on site. Spacious and very comfortable room.

The area around the hotel is very typical of any airport - lots of warehouses, so not a lot of places to eat within walking distance. Breakfast was fine, nothing to write home about. The windows were not as sound-proof as I'd have hoped for at an airport hotel - not so loud as to be problematic, but you could hear planes landing nearby.

The location was a compromise to avoid the more expensive options right downtown, where our event was. I loved the practicality of the rooms - everything you needed was provided. The layout was simple, the hotel was very clean. The beds were very comfortable, and the pillows weren't bad, either. I forgot to ever sign into the wifi, but we were really only there to sleep, honestly. The breakfast was just fine.

The pillows could have been a little bigger, more full. I wished there was real milk or cream at the coffee/tea station. Check in for one of our 3 rooms was a little slow because one of the rooms wasn't readyG but I know the hotel was FULL, and your staff was really busy.

I like how the front desk (pretty Filipina, just forgot her name) accommodated our request. We just wanted to leave our two carry ons so that we can explore Downtown Toronto but to our surprise we were able to check in early. The room lay out is so relaxing, the bathroom looks very clean and modern. Front service attendants/personnel and the people in the breakfast area are so helpful and friendly. There are a good number of healthy breakfast options and they are filling. Coffee in the lobby is available 24 hours. The airport shuttle is a bonus.

The hotel was just gorgeous. I was irate because my flight cancelled and they refused to give me a boot voucher so I had to book a hotel myself for overnight. The price was great but once I walked in I realized this place is worth more than what I paid. I am joyful to pick TRU HOTEL. From the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out I felt safe, secure, confident, taken care of and comfortable. The amenities that were available and the room blew me away. It was exceedingly clean, neat, organized. The hotel gives off bubbly playful vibe that makes you smile. Now, the handsoap and the body lotion, shampoo conditioner etc, smelt SO amazing- I had to find it online and purchase myself! If I return to Canada, TRU is my go to! They also have free breakfast, fee microwave, airfryer and the receptionists ere sooo nice, she even texted me once I settled in to make sure I had everything I needed and was comfortable and they have free ONTIME shuttle to airport. 100/10!!

As far as amenities, this place had everything you would expect from an airport hotel, no more no less. And that's not a complaint in the slightest, as it was a bit more affordable than most other options in the area.

This isn't so much a complaint as a curiosity, but what's up with Tru by Hilton's branding? Everything is covered in these quippy phrases that read like Instagram captions or the kind of things that a ceaselessly positive coworker would post on Twitter. Like I said, not a complaint, just something I found sort of amusing.
