Breakfast - simple breakfast with warm foods and different breads to choose from. combination of "American" and Colombian. we are generally easy eaters and this was good in our book! Room - very spacious for the rate we paid! We had a king bed and a twin in the room. This was plenty space for 2 people. Location - Bocagrande is a bit further so we ended up taking a uber (less than $10 USD) to the center for the city walking and boat tours. This worked fine for us since we were only there for 2 days. The neighborhood is fine for a local stroll, but you will find tour guides selling to you, other hotels, some local business. Definitelly more shopping at the city center. The beach is about 3 blocks away and while it looked nice, we chose to do the island hopping where we found the waves were much calmer. There are plenty of pharmacies in that one-block radius if you get sunburt or need other meds. We also did a hair blowout at a location around the corner and the price was $40 USD for a wash with adFded exfoliation shampoo and style. Taxis were around $25000-30000 colombian pesos to/from airport.

Excellent hotel with excellent staff. The location is always great as it is within a 1 minute walk of a few drug/convenience stores and a few restaurants (So be sure to pick up a couple bottles of water for your room refrigerator). Be prepared that only a few of the staff members speak English but it's sufficient to get you to your room. The beds are firmer than I personally like them but I still slept well. I don't typically go to the beach but if you're interested the beach is a few blocks away from the hotel, about a 5 minute walk.

A breakfast buffet is included and consists of coffee, juice, breads, fruits, various meats and eggs. I would have liked a more standard American style breakfast (pancakes, waffles, syrup, etc.) but of course this is a silly request when I'm not in America :-)

First time as a customer at Oz Hotel and I honestly don’t have words to describe my satisfaction. The employees were very friendly, even if I don’t speak Spanish, they did their best to help me in English, very clean facilities, amazing room (I got an upgrade without asking it), comfy bed (I’m a really difficult person when it comes to sleeping) and the most important, the breakfast! Don’t skip the breakfast.!!! From my bottom of my heart, I big thank you!!!

Breakfast was great, some dishes varied everyday. The service and quality of the room was amazing. We got upgraded and they gave us a free meal in the restaurant. The staff was always ready to help with a smile on their face.

We heard some noice coming into our room, it was just 2 of the nights we stayed there. The AC had a green light that was quite bright and it we werent able to turn it off. We have something similar happen in other places and at home and its usually easy to turn that led light off, but we could not find a setting not button on the remote to do it and we even checked online but it wasnt possible.

Great location. Close to beach, restaurants, night life and only 5 to 10 minute taxi ride away from El Centro and Walled city! A excellent hotel for the money. Rooftop has nice view and a outdoor shower to cool off. The beach is 5 minute walk. Breakfast is good! Staff is amazing.

Almost nothing to complain about. There is No pool. But there is a shower on the rooftop. The location is a little noisy - but hey it's Cartagena - the whole city is noisy!

The location was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean. The complimentary breakfast was way more food than I expected to get. Based on other travelers’ experiences at other hotels, Oz is likely one of the best choices.

There was really nothing that I disliked. When you leave the room and take your room key, the electricity to the room shuts off, which includes the refrigerator. Thankfully I didn’t have anything in it except water. The beds were also extremely firm, but that seems to be common for all hotels in the area from what I heard from other visitors who stayed at other hotels.

Best customer service I've ever had.

The hotel is in a great location, very close to the beach, beach towels are provided. Good, hearty breakfasts, we also received one free lunch from the hotel as a gift. There are plenty of opportunities to eat something, do some shopping, etc. around. The hotel is located in more than one building, we stayed in a smaller one, with a separate entrance, to the right of the main entrance, which the hotel boasts about in the photos. The windows in our room were darkened and when opened, they looked out onto the back of the hotel and the back area. Initially, we were accommodated in a room that was too small, but after one night, as a result of intervention, we were moved to a larger room, in accordance with the reservation. The room is large, comfortable, with air conditioning, lots of beds (bunk), unfortunately without a desk.

All the doors in our part of the hotel creaked terribly, they couldn't be closed quietly, they had to be slammed shut, which was very noisy.
