Staff was very friendly and helped us book tours and excursions. Food in the restaurant was very fresh and the cocktails were great. View from the pool and restaurant was perfect, open bay with islands in the distance.

The hotel is very remote, guests need a car to have a comfortable stay here. Thankfully the staff was very good about helping us book transport everywhere, so it wasn't the biggest issue.

The views were absolutely incredible, the food delicious, the service outstanding, and the rooms sparkling clean and very comfortable. Parking was easy, and everyone was very accommodating. We loved the sweet cats on the property! We will absolutely return if given the opportunity.

There is a cat who is in need of veterinary care. They try to tell people he is old (10, which isn't old for us,) but it is clear he simply needs better care. I realize it may be cultural, but it was very sad. We can tell they care about their cats, however.

I was sitting in the pool bed and got bitten by some insects in my buttocks.. So was my sister, As a suggestion, you may clean the fabric pool bed with lysol or some cleaner in a daily basis.

Our TV channels didn't work, but with such a beautiful view and swimming pool, we didn't even notice it until the last day!

This hotel is a real gem. We stayed for just one night to enjoy the bioluminescence kayaking with Bahia Rica Tours and it was fantastic. The staff were super friendly and kind and we received a warm welcome and tour of the property. The infinity pool had lovely views of Islas Tortugas where we spent a fun day snorkeling and swimming and made friends with other hotel guests. The room was very comfortable and had a lovely deck to sit outside and enjoy the stunning views. The restaurant was delicious and we enjoyed a hearty and full Costa Rican style breakfast buffet. This is a perfect place to stay after or before taking the ferry to/from Paquera/Puntarenas and is close enough to town for more restaurant options. We highly recommend this wonderful EcoBoutique.

The hotel is in a beautiful location surrounded by jungle and howler monkeys with a beautiful view of the sea and islands. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was also kid/family friendly. The breakfast was also excellent. Very close to the bioluminescence kayak tours and tortuga island tours.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We were staying here for our honeymoon and they decorated our room for us and gave us a free cocktail which we thought was so sweet! The pool and cabanas were so relaxing. Our bedroom had an incredible view of the beach, we absolutely loved the views. This property is only 5 minutes drive from a beautiful beach with hardly any people on it. This is the perfect place to relax and unwind!

We really wished the bed was more comfortable, would recommend the hotel put in a different mattress or add a foamy! The lighting in the room was very dim at night. The breakfast was a bit simpler compared to other hotels (basic continental breakfast, but still good) and food/cocktails were more expensive compared to other places

Beautiful pool with amazing views. Nice big shared terrace with swing, billiards and table football. Nice view from the terrace of the room. The staff is very helpful and can recommend very good programs. Bioluminescence kayaking is not to be missed.

Since it is in a wonderful place in the forest, bugs can also be found in the rooms, but they are not harmful. In case of heavy rain, a 4WD car may be necessary for the last 50 meters hilside.

Nice hotel with a great view. Rooms are simple but comfortable. The breakfast areas had an amazing view. The pool was big and the sunbeds gave us chilled vibes. The staff was very friendly at any time. We enjoyed our stay.

It wasn’t disturbing. But be aware there are howler monkeys in the forest around. They might making noises early in the morning or at night. So bring some ear plugs. But it’s amazing having those creatures around :)
