The staff was ready for us despite a last-minute booking. they graciously spoke English to us, which was very welcome after a particularly long day traveling. The air conditioner worked wonderfully. The bed and pillows were unexpectedly comfortable and good quality. The attached bath was adequate and had hot water. There was dedicated parking for the hotel, which was helpful as parking is at a premium in Montezuma.

The room was barely large enough to walk around the bed, with no room for luggage. The price for the room seemed excessive given how tiny it was, and no breakfast was included.

This hostel was accommodating to our last-minute booking. It was clean and central to everything in town. The restaurant it was above was very delicious. Very easy to check in and out. Beds were comfortable. Shower worked well. Walkable to everything. 2 minute walk to the beach.

Room had no windows facing outside, only towards the hallway. Was not a big deal though, as we didn't stay in the room much, except for sleeping.

Great location,just around the corner from the town square, which steps down to the beach. Excellent food. We were able to use Yiang Yiangs pool. The manager Jairo was a gem of a human being and very accommodating.

No ice machine , but the kitchen staff took care of that as needed, to fill our water tumblers. Which may have been better that way and cleaner!

The breakfast (although not included in our rate) was delicious! The menu included variety of options, the service was great!

Do not tell the guests of the hotel that Ylang-Ylang (the sister hotel) is 10 min walk :) Most of the walk is on the beach and part through a forest. There is no lights at night. So, for people who do not know the area, it is not a good idea. During the day, you can drive to the property and then walk on the beach. Ylang-Ylang has a beautiful pool and excellent restaurant!

We liked the hotel, the beach, the town and location. The outdoor patio restaurant was very nice and food was delicious.

We felt the bathroom should have had a fan as there was no way to open any windows to let air circulate. We even kept the room door open part of the day and night just to let in some fresh air.

The location of the hotel is absolutely amazing. The supermarkt is literally next door & the beach is just a 1 minute walk. Besides we loved that we could use the pool of the sister hotel ‘Ylang Ylang’, really nice add on for your trip! Staff is also very sweet, highly recommend!

We would have loved if there were some real curtains in the room & the shower can get an upgrade. Besides that we had an amazing stay!!

The staff were exceptional and food excellent. Food was fresh with many options, including vegetarian and vegan. Location is perfect for all adventures. By the end of our stay, we felt like family

the location of this hotel is unbeatable and the garden restaurant is great. staff was also very nice and helpful! AC was fantastic!!!

The room did not have any window to the outside so it felt a bit closed in but they did a good of job of making it bright so you didn't notice as much. The cleaning product they used had a VERY strong smell though which I couldn't air out due to no windows. also music from club next door was SO LOUD Saturday night and went to 4 am. It was the only night of my 3 night stay it was an issue though.

We had a great time here, the staff made our trip so special. Having access to the pool at Ylang Ylang was such a treat, we used it every day. I loved Montezuma and El Sano Banana is right in the heart of everything!

I like to go to bed early so the front rooms were a little noisy sometimes. If you are like this then ask for one at the back.

Fantastic staff, great location and great food.

Beds are a bit uncomfortable but that seems to be the norm in smaller hotels around Costa Rica
