We were very impressed by our stay at Believe. We had one of the private rooms by the pool and found it perfect for our stay. The pool area was delightful and stayed cool throughout the heat of the day. We are keen yogis (being the main reason for our trip) and found the yoga at Believe to be some of the best we have come across so far in Costa Rica. There is an extensive timetable of classes running through out the day - with some great teachers. Delightful place and we met some fun friends during our stay.

We found that the male desk staff could have been more enthusiastic and friendlier - they had a rather downbeat vibe which was a shame as the space was delightful and everything else worked so well. Also the communal kitchen was rather messy which was a shame as made cooking in less enjoyable then it needed to be - mould was growing in one of the coffee dispensers.

I loved staying at Believe. The place is super nice, the staff is amazing, you have a kitchen you can use and they also have a "bar" where you can order food and drinks - it's super good and prices are reasonable compared to other places in Santa Teresa. The atmosphere is super cool - easy to meet people, it has this hostel vibe, people spend a lot of time in common spaces so you never feel alone. Yoga classes are amazing. It's super well located - you are in the north of Santa Teresa, and it was my personal favorite part.

The common space isn't really big so it can become quickly noisy and make it hard to work remotely from there. Also the yoga deck is beautiful but right in front of some rooms, the pool and next to the common space. Yoga classes are all day long so if you want to relax by the pool, you will hear the classes for example. Same for yoga, you will hear the people speaking at the common spaces. But generally speaking it didn't really bother me too much :) It's too pricey though - but like everywhere in Santa Teresa.

*Staff -1,000/10, the worst desk/customer service/receptionist in the last 5 years staying at the Believe... *Not coming back at all... *The reception/desk staff was waaaaaay better a couple years ago with the owner Maria and the people that used to work there. *The 2 new gringas are sooo disrespectful that I'm telling everyone not to stay there even if is too cheap... *Careful people...

The entire concept and the level of comfort are very nice. There is a great vibe in the hostel and the yoga deck is wonderful

When I was there, business operations could have run more smoothly. For instance with booking the shuttle form the airport to the hotel or the dorms were overbooked. But they have been working on improving it

Stunning rooms- really well kept, modern and clean. Pool was also really well kept. Most of the staff super lovely.

Quite set back from anything in Santa Teresa. Takes a long time to get to the 'central' part of the strip. Santa Teresa in itself quite underwhelming. Breakfast also quite expensive- but i think its just matching general

The breakfast was very good (best we had for prepaid for in Costa Rica)! We did have an issue with the staff not thinking we had pre-paid for breakfast but this was quickly resolved.

There were schedule changes in yoga which was not communicated, the breakfast wasn't offered one day which also wasn't communicated.

Common spaces, staff was really kind, helpful and willing to resolve any inconvenience. The rooms are very comfortable with enough space, proper lockers and even a desk for work. They always have clean and organized the entire hostel. I appreciated the front desk people like Josefina and Solange, and the volunteers like Mariah. Great work! Good music on the playlist. -Natiruts and more good vibes...

The pool, the common area / restaurant area are nice. Kitchen is well equipped. The bed was comfy and plus for not being a bunk bed. In general as a hotel/hostel, everything was great.

If you join the yoga classes, it is a bit difficult to completely relax due to noise from the main road and people. I would go somewhere else for a class because I found it a bit unsettling that even the staff didn't respect the yoga time and were being loud in the restaurant area despite the class going on 10 metres away. But this is separate from the actual hotel/hostel experience which was great for me. Just a bit bummed about the yoga part. Also, the kitchen is shared with the restaurant chefs which I found a bit odd but they are building a guest kitchen which will make things easier for everyone!

Such a nice staff! Especially Bruno was amazing to have around, so friendly and with such lovely energy! Good surfing coaches and yoga instructors, just good people in general. Nice big clean room.

The shared kitchen, it's good to have but not all know how to clean up after themselves ;)

Amazing location, super close to the nicest part of Santa Teresa beach and a little outside from all the hustle and bustle of main street. still close to restaurants / supermarkets etc. Yoga was amazing, the staff is super friendly and helpful, it felt like home. Booked for 4 nights and extended to a week and was sad to leave. The perfect place to arrive somewhere and just relax. The dorms are spacious and the beds comfy.

Dorms get quite noisy quite early, as the windows are open and the kitchen / reception area is right underneath.
