What to say? We had an amazing stay at Ventura! The stuff is oustanding. They are all sooo helpful, friendly and even humorous - and they really take care. We got an upgrade, so our room was just amazing. It‘s the first hotel that simply has enough hanging hooks - in general everything was made smart and it‘s very clean. Around the hotel there are lots of shops, restaurant, cafes ans most important: beaches. We can definitely recommend it! Thanks for an amazing stay.

We have had a great time at Ventura Santa Teresa! The location is ideal, with the beach just a short walk away, making it perfect for surf lovers. The property is on a busy road, but this only adds to its convenience, as everything you need is close by. The facilities are spotless and well-maintained, and there are plenty of lovely lounge areas to relax in after a day of adventure. The management has been absolutely fantastic, always going the extra mile to accommodate us and ensure we felt at home. We also enjoyed the Aroma restaurant next door every breakfast dish was full of flavor and the perfect start to our day. From the excellent location to the relaxing atmosphere, Ventura Santa Teresa has been a wonderful place to stay. Highly recommended. Roy was absolutely fantastic during our stay at Ventura Santa Teresa. He was always present, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure all our needs were met. Whether it was providing helpful recommendations or assisting with any requests.

I would highly recommend booking the Garden terrace or the studio balcony suite. They are more private, spacious, and quieter, offering a much more restful experience compared to other rooms. Perfect for those looking for comfort and tranquility. In the smaller rooms a small towel heater to be able to dry wet clothes would be great addition.

Loved the location. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They helped organize a day trip to Tortuga Island (which was excellent). Beds and pillows were comfortable. There are 3 hangout spots around the hotel where you can eat, drink, and just chill with friends. The pool is nice but a bit small. The attached restaurant although expensive offers a discount to hotel guests.

I wish the bunk bed ladder was at an angle to make it easier for people to climb up and down. I used a stool to assist with getting up and out of bed. In the heart of downtown, can be noisy at night.

The staff upgraded our room at no charge and it was nice to have the privacy. The room was large and modern, the bed and bedding was very comfortable! The food at the restaurant was delicious! Best fresh juice I had in Santa Teresa and the homemade hot sauce and jams was such a nice touch. Also, the service was extremely professional and great! Easy access to the beach and walking distance from some great restaurants.

There is a lot of construction happening around the hotel. It was very loud at times, especially when eating at the restaurant. The roads are unfinished, no sidewalks, and there is a ton of busy traffic around. Feels like it will be more developed over the next year or so (good and bad).

We really enjoyed and can highly recommend this hotel. It is very modern and gives a feeling of high quality, even though it may be aimed at younger guests. The room was cleaned and towels changed everyday (the cleaning ladies did an excellent job!), which is very nice in this sandy and dusty part of Costa Rica. No breakfast included, but there is a big and modern supermarked straight across the street, and of course you need to try the Danish Bakery, which has everything you need for breakfast. For dinner, you just have to walk a couple of meters outside of your door. Very convinient on holiday. Air condition is a must have, if you're not use to this kind of heat. The beach is very close, but in general: Santa Teresa is a place for surfers, not swimmers, because of the VERY strong waves. It is better to swim some 100 meteres further north. For surfers: this location is excellent if you are an more advanced surfer. For beginner/intermidien surfers: Booking surf lessions through the hotel is HIGHLY recommended. Maykol was an excellent and experienced teacher. His place is just a 5-10 min walk from the hotel. He will quickly advance your level in surfing! If you are starting on the green waves/line up: Let him know if you have your own car, because you then are more free to drive to other locations, depending on the weather. For beginners there is a neverending supply of white water, all day, all the time :) But note that even the white water is STRONG.. Yes, the rooms are a bit small (at least when you are 3 people), but I would choose this new, modern, clean, higher quality feeling hotel style over room size, any day. If you are going to rent a car: Just listen to the car dealer, when he says that you WILL need a 4x4 ;) We are very glad we did, because we could enjoy driving over a mountain with 4 river crossings :) The roads are bad in this area, but fun with a good car.

The steet outside of the hotel is dusty, very busy and very noisy. Just as you know. You don't hear the noise inside of your room, but if you are looking for a quiet place, you'll need to go away from this main street in Santa Teresa. The down side with that is that you may have to drive or walk far to have dinner. In this hotel, there's a lot of great dinner options just outside.

Great little spot, we stayed in the terrace with balcony and it was a great size. The standard rooms looked a little smaller but they looked to the same excellent standard as our own. The pool was small but a lovely little spot to cool down in the sun. Staff were excellent and couldn’t be more welcoming and helpful. The beach is less than five minutes walk away with good resultants and super markets very close!

Loved my stay at Ventura Santa Teresa! The place is really well located, close to all shops, restaurants, and to the beach. The rooms are very clean and modern, well equipped. The restaurant downstairs serves delicious meals all day long (highly recommend the tacos!). Most importantly I want to give a big thank you to Roy, Joel, and David, for being so welcoming, friendly, and helping with tips and booking a few tours! This place would not be the same without them. Thanks again and I will be staying there again when I come back to Santa Teresa!

Everything was perfect

The location, friendliness of the staff. Very clean, we had room cleaned daily (the cleaning ladies did an excellent job to get rid of sand and dust!) Parking availabe next door. Close to beach and shops. Good design (modern and chic). Comfy beds. Very good toiletries in bathroom from local brand (the banana hair conditioner was HOT!).

Room a bit too small. The hotel has 2 floors, we had a room on the first floor, the sound of the rooms above comes through, you hear the steps, movements, when doors open, toilet fluhsing and many things that the guest above us does. No place to hang clothes and be able to dry them - in the Costa Rica that its a must as evything its wet all the time due to humidity. No kitchen (even shared one would be helpful).

Ventura Santa Teresa is the perfect place for a holiday in Santa Teresa. Very clean, modern and comfortable and with a great location right in front of an amazing surf spot and next to many great places to eat. Also the restaurant from the hotel has fantastic food try the gf banana bread for breakfast or their fish casados for lunch. The staff where all very kind and helpful, specially David that helped us a lot to make our stay great!

Everything was really great

Everything. The hotel itself you can feel was made for sustainability and with care for the environment. The entire staff from reception to the cleaners all were happy and made me feel welcome. They helped me book a tour to Tortuga Island and an ATV (this is highly recommended in the area! Made my trip so much more fun) my bed was the most comfortable I had in Costa Rica and the room and really the entire hotel is super clean. Location was just what I wanted. Easy walk to the beach, food is close and a grocery store across the street made it better. They have a google Wi-Fi nest system which I’ve never seen in Costa Rica. The pool was great and has a built in bench to sit and enjoy the sun A+ stay! If you are looking for a hotel in Santa Teresa you won’t be disappointed!
