The staff is excellent. They all have a very positive and helpful attitude. The owner is present, gracious and kind. They pride themselves on great coffee, ambiance and a lovely breakfast. They helped with all our needs and shuttled us to our planned ferry to Hvar when we moved on to our next stay. The location is amazing! Our suite had a fabulous rooftop patio.

As we were in what would have been an attic space in long, past history, the side walls do slope. We are medium height people but very tall people may want to consider their choice of this room and discuss this aspect ahead of arrival.

Ideal location in the 'Peoples Square" close to the waterfront and many historical attractions. The spacious room with many historical features had a sofa and writing desk and large bathroom. Breakfast comprised of a choice of fruit, cereals, juice and a selection of hams and cheeses. The hotel also offered a more bespoke breakfast service for customers wanting a hot breakfast. Reception staff very helpful in advising customers about places to eat and drink as well as helping to organise visits to places around Split. The buggy transfer from the ferry to the hotel and bus station worked well in wet weather - an excellent added touch. Overall service by management and staff impeccable.

The entrance to the hotel is via the bar area on the ground floor - can be busy at times making it tricky to navigate the stairs to the reception area. Can also be considered as part of the charm of the place, especially with a good choice of cocktails.

Amazing location, beautiful decoration, Croatian/old town feel that is very fitting for the location, comfortable and spacious rooms, delicious breakfasts with so many different customizable options and choices, and AMAZING staff. The staff went above and beyond to help ensure we had an incredible time in Split. They recommended delicious, fairly-priced, authentic restaurants, helped us plan a trip to Dubrovnik with a drive through Ston and Dingac wine vineyards on the way back, and organized a half-day sailing trip for us. They were so invested in our well-being, enjoyment, and happiness on our trip. They met us outside the walls to take our luggage since cars aren’t allowed to go through the old town, they helped reschedule our flights when we had to push our travel by one day, and they provided us with endless fun and laughter throughout our entire stay. We absolutely loved Split, but it’s hard to say whether we loved the city so much or if our impression of the place is all thanks to Palace Judita!! The location could not be better with a less than 2 minute walking distance to Diocletian’s Palace, the waterfront (Riva), and all the best bars and restaurants. All of the staff speak English wonderfully, making the earnest and thoughtful concierge even more seamless and helpful!! We cannot say enough nice things about this property and we are planning on booking another stay here in the near future.

Nothing- this was one of the best places I’ve ever stayed in my life.

Location, location, location. Next door to Diocletian’s Palace and easy stroll to the ocean. I enjoyed the jazz bar. The staff was superior. They handled all our luggage from the taxi to the hotel. That was a considerable distance as the property is in a no vehicle zone. They provide a full breakfast with fresh pastries and eggs made to order. I recommend room 4 because it had a balcony from which you can listen to the music from below while watching the throngs of people in the plaza outside.

Bathroom was small. Felt like I was on a cruise ship.

The staff were actively helpful, as well as genuinely friendly.

A few missing touches took away from the visit, relatively minor but if you are paying that price then you would expect these to be picked up - safe in the room was locked and unable to be used - missing a second champagne glass, if we wanted to use the mini bar - for us, the porter to the room service was a bit much, we really don’t need to be shown how to open a window or adjust the aircon - we were on time for breakfast (0930) but no tables available and the single member of staff was rushed off her feet as everyone was having a late breakfast. This should be planned for.

This beautiful hotel is exceptional in every way. Great location in square with bars and restaurants yet little oasis inside, quiet rooms with big comfortable beds and lovely bathroom. And while I know there are a lot of lovely hotels in Split they don't have a Maria, Andy and all the other wonderful staff that look after you so well. They offered to pick us up from ferry terminal and early breakfast when we checked out, Maria told us the best places to go and Andy even wheeled our cases the short distance from hotel to Pick Up 1 where we could quickly get our Uber taxi after recommending it was a lot cheaper than picking up one from rank.

Judita Palace is an incredible hotel with fantastic staff. They do everything they can to make your stay wonderful, from meeting you at the gate to take your bags (no cars are allowed in the walls) and then when you leave doing the same (we had to get to the ferry, and they had a golf cart waiting for us to take us and our bags so we didn't have to traipse through town with our luggage). We had wonderful breakfasts, and incredible cocktails in their highly sought after lounge with views of the square. Our room was a little noisy because it was right on the square, but that's to be expected with the location - but I would not change my five star review of this place. And really it was fun to sit and watch all the comings and goings. As you will read on many reviews for this place at any travel site, the staff is led by Andrija who is absolutely delightful. Our driver (because the hotel also set up our pickup at the airport and they were waiting for us on arrival) told us that Andrija was the heart of the hotel and they were completely correct. He and Anna are a team of masters of hospitality, but it doesn't end with them. Every single team member at that hotel follows the same fantastic level of care and attention. You will not be disappointed.

The accommodation is beautiful and the location is great, however nothing compares to the level of service provided by the staff at Judita Palace. They are warm, attentive, kind and caring - I found myself not once, but twice, needing last minute assistance - and despite being on the other side of the world, it was like they were friends, but with way nicer accommodation. I can not recommend staying here enough, whether you’re after somewhere beautiful, somewhere fun, somewhere well positioned - or simply a laugh (or a cry on a shoulder like I needed)

I was only able to stay for one night and had to check out at 4 am the next morning however, the care in making sure I had my transportation in place for my very early morning journey was seamless ! My pick up at the port was equally seamless as well . Maria and others at reception were remarkable caring and attentive . I can not say enough - I was originally supposed to stay for 3 days ... I wish I could have, but for the time I was there it was the most perfect way to end my vacation.

Location was perfect. And the service was outstanding! The building was historic and beautifully updated and appointed. Delicious breakfast served by the loveliest woman. All around service that went above anything Ive ever experienced. Andy especially made every effort to make sure we were taken care of every step of the way. He was eager to make reservations for us, and arrange smooth transfers and he kept us smiling every day. The entire staff have a true passion for hospitality and service and beyond anything I’ve experienced.
