We were very impressed with the staff. They were all very friendly and super helpful. We received detailed directions on how to get to the parking garage and were met at the parking garage by one of the staff to help guide us in. The staff member even carried my luggage to the hotel from the parking garage. A staff member also accompanied us back to the parking garage after check out. Our room was very comfortable and well stocked with tea, coffee and a small fridge where you could purchase extra drinks and such. The free breakfast was delicious and went beyond our expectations. We also appreciated all the recommendations the staff made as far as restaurants and sights to see.

Nothing. Everything met our expectations. It was a very clean, comfortable place to stay.

Wow - what a special boutique hotel. Room was large (upstairs walk-up - we were on top floor), view of small enclosed garden, large bathroom even. So well-appointed. Comfy bed and in-room tea available. Best part was the breakfast- made to order - with other amenities in their little nook, plus a little enclosed garden. We had an exceptional breakfast, amazingly friendly staff (recommend if coming from airport that you book through them for a pick-up - as it is reasonable and they can help you find the place - which you have to walk to from outside the walls). Wish I could have stayed another night - it was one of my favorite hotel experiences in ages.

Great location. The hotel is located inside the walls of the Diocletian's Palace. Good sized room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good communication. If you are travelling with a lot of luggage do ask the hotel to come and meet your taxi or Uber. Cars cannot get into the Palace area. The hotel is very happy to come and meet you. They very kindly helped us get all of our luggage to the ferry port.

Breakfast was very good but not up with the best we had on our trip. Breakfast area is a little cramp if the guests from all 3 rooms arrive at the same time. Nothing much the hotel can do about this as space is at a premium in the old town. Lady serving breakfast was lovely. Hotel was expensive but we found all hotels in major cities of Croatia to be expensive - even in May - especially if you want to stay in the centre of town.

The hotel is exceptional. The room in the annexe was large and beautifully furnished with rooftop views . Even on a busy Friday evening, it was quiet and peaceful in our room. . The staff were all amazing - helpful and kind, meeting us to bring us to the hotel, recommending super restaurants, giving us directions and always very welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was high quality with plenty of choice and cooked options prepared to order. The hotel location could not have been better - central to all the main old town sights.

This small hotel was beautiful, staff was friendly and professional, the location was ideal, and breakfast was very nice. The location inside the old city was great.

I don't have anything bad to say about the hotel, but we were shocked by the incredible crowds in Split. It was literally a mob scene in the evening. The crowds were more intense than anything we have ever encountered in our 40 years of traveling. We got up very early to do our site-seeing which worked out. I would recommend coming to Split and this nice hotel during the low-season. Avoid the summer time, too crowded and too hot.

This Villa Hotel was the most gorgeous accommodation. The room was absolutely beautiful and the staff were fantastic. Excellent communication throughout. The staff were so happy and helpful with lots of recommendations of activities and dining options. Parking was available through the villa, and I would recommend this option. Breakfast was amazing. A big shout out to Zoran who helped us collect our bags and the great conversation! A definite must stay location in the heart of Split!

The staff was lovely and very helpful! The room was beautiful and large and well appointed. The breakfast was a terrific start to each day. The location was perfect in the old city with very easy access to everywhere.

The stairs! Ha. We were on the 4th floor and due to being a UNESCO site there is no elevator so you have to walk up all the flights of stairs. Good exercise however after you’ve walked all day it was tiring. The staff were amazing and carried our (very heavy) bags up and down the stairs!!!

It was amazing to stay in a UNESCO Heritage Site. The location is close to everything. But what it an exquisite stay was the staff. Everyone was helpful and cared for us like old friends. The included breakfast was delicious and I had access to the coffee station at all times, in addition to the in-room coffee station. The staff collected us and our luggage from the Ferry.

Just be aware that it is fã UNESCO site so there are no elevators, if you have mobility issues.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. Hotel was located right in the Palace grounds, about 100 m behind Riva Promenade. Easy access to nice restaurants and cafes. Breakfast was superb.

As car access was forbidden in the Old Town, the nearest public parking was about 400 m away. Luckily, we had help from the staff with our luggage. Due to its close proximity to a fish market, the narrow lane in front of the hotel became very busy early in the morning with noise from trucks and people.

charming rooms with vaulted ceilings, great helpful staff, located right in the old city center. The staff was great and very helpful. We came at night after a long journey but happened to arrive on a major holiday celebration. We could not park and were exhausted. It was very hot too. The staff ran to our location to help us with parking and to guide us to the hotel. This level of assistance just doesn't happen in the U.S.
