Lovely place to stay within Diocletian's Palace. The space is great, with a bedroom and a seperate living area with a sofa and a kitchenette. There is a washing machine and a drying rack. The host is kind but I don't think she is very tech savvy. I think there were times she may have read messages but didn't actually answer. You have to arrange a time to meet to get the keys. I forgot to do this until the day of arrival so I admit I have her short notice but said we would walk around and meet her when she could come. After not getting a response for 1.5 hr, we finally decided to go to the apartment and luckily she had arrived at the same time we arrived. Also, I asked about parking a week or two before our arrival. She did say two places where there were paid public lots but didn't know the price for parking. The closest lot was full so we parked behind the bus station about a 10 min walk away where the parking was 27€ cash per 24 hours (or 1.5€ for first hour and 2€ each additional hr for max of 27€ for 24 hrs) After we were able to get the keys, we went back to the car to get our luggage to bring to the apartment. Other than that, the location of the apartment is wonderful.

The bathroom is very small but functional. The shower is like on a boat where you pull curtains to create a shower space. Check-in could have been smoother if we were given the code for the lock box with a message instead of having to meet the host at the apartment.

Very comfortable apartment with an amazing location that is very walkable in the Old Town, but was very quiet to the street noise below. The check-in instructions were very clear and proactive so we did not have any issues arriving to the apartment. It was tiny and cute and we were happy to have the upstairs area to open up our suitcases and spread out. The bed was comfortable and apartment was clean and well equipped.

The AC was very strong upstairs but did not cool the downstairs sleeping area as well. We were thankful to have a fan downstairs since it was very hot during our August trip. The ladder/stairs to the upstairs area was steep and the bathroom was tight for our tall heights, but we didn't find this to be too much of an issue.

This apartment is in a fantastic location within the old town center. So close to everything but super quiet and peaceful when you're in the apartment. Location alone makes it worth it. It's a neat space in a historic building with a lot of character. Host was helpful and check in was super easy.

This is a very personal space and there is quite a lot of knicknacks and such around the apartment. All cute and it really looks like someone likes the place and lives there often but, I guess I'm more of a minimalist and would prefer less cutesy things laying about.

The host Irina was very helpful with providing parking information (we parked by the ferry for overnight parking 170kn). The attic apartment was very cozy and unique. There were a lot of stairs to climb so make sure to travel light. The apartment came with everything you’d need for cooking including cooking oil. The only thing you’d need to bring is shampoo/lotion. The location was unbeatable, 2 mins walk from the Palace and surrounded by great restaurants (Go to Figs). We arrived pretty late and was offered to have a super late check-out the next day since she didn’t have any guest coming in, what a nice gesture.

The wifi was a bit unstable.

The room was massive, multi levels. There was an ice machine which was great for hot days. Also had a washing machine which was great for half way through the holiday. Perfect location, right in the middle of town.

Let the host know we were coming at 930am, check is wasn’t until 2pm but she had said she would meet us to store our luggage at the apartment anyways. Called her at 930 and she said she wouldn’t be there til 10-1030am, which was fine but she could have told us this before. Luckily we were able to store the luggage in the room while she cleaned before we returned at 2pm to check in.

This property had a really nice feel about it. The decor was lovely. The bedroom was downstairs and the lounge and kitchen area upstairs. The location was very central and inside the historical walls. The price was very good. Host was lovely I have made a video review so you can see more details. Charming, traditional Croatian house in a fantastic location- right in the heart of the Old Town with all the historic sites within a few minutes walk and surrounded by an excellent choice of restaurants. The host, Irena, was very friendly and helpful, recommending restaurants and day trips and was easily contacted. Lots of extras provided such as beach towels, umbrellas, washing powder and we could help ourselves to fresh towels.

A mirror in the bedroom would have been useful and a better system for hanging clothes.

In the heart of Split's Diocletian Palace this amazing apartment gives you a roof-level accommodation in the heart of the city. The host was friendly and very helpful for our stay. We have stayed in many places in Croatia but this was easily the best if you want to stay in one of the most historic centres of Croatian history in an apartment which retains some 16th Century features. We really recommend.

The apartment is very well located in the historical part of Split. One feels the welcoming ambiance of the place. The kitchen is very well appointed, the bathroom is clean and the bed comfortable. The communication with the owner was great.

Bear in mind that you have to take a couple of stairs to reach the entrance to the apartment and, inside, the bedroom is in the upper level (another stair). The apartment is well appointed but there is no place to hang/store clothing, like a drawer.

The apartment was better than we expected and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The bedroom was the largest room in the apartment and we slept surprisingly well. The bed was king size and firm which we prefer. The bathroom is tiny but I marveled at the functionality of the tight space. The owner was very nice and we felt right at home. I loved the historical feeling of the place. It reminded me of visiting a relative's home as there were so many practicalities like the tiny stocked kitchen, sewing kit, first aid, steam iron, scissors, etc.
