Beautiful room with tons of charm! Located right in the middle of old town, there was easy access to all the history and beauty of Split. Our host was incredibly kind and welcoming. He lives with his family right next to the apartment, and was easily reachable! When we arrived he gave us personal recommendations for the city, and he also allowed us to store our luggage with him after we checked out while we waited for our ferry later in the day. Please note that this apartment is located in the old town itself, which is fantastically charming but also means it is only accessible by foot. The streets are cobblestone so consider this with your luggage. It is also located on the second floor via stairs, which was no problem for us but might not work for those with mobility concerns. The air conditioning worked very well which is definitely important when temperatures are in the 90’s!

This room was on the noisy side, both from inside the building and through the windows. Would recommend bringing earplugs for sleeping if you are sensitive to noise!

The building is perfectly situated right inside the walls of the palace, so you are in the thick of the tourist area and all its sights. Yet, the apartment itself is on a quiet little alley and overlooks a small (and rare) green space. The host, Baldo, is great, so helpful, enthusiastic and friendly. We found the small fridge useful.

The room in which we stayed was the smallest of the three and there wasn’t much room for suitcases. The other two are much roomier, with the larger being a studio. Also, our hot water ran out if we showered one after the other.

Djanovic was perfectly located within the palace and steps away from all the major attractions. The hosts Baldo and his wife were very kind and helpful. The room was immaculate and seamlessly fit it with the surrounding Roman palace. The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet, it had a refrigerator, stove, and sink. Excellent shower. The price was very affordable as well. We were very pleased with our five night stay.

I liked everything about this property

We had a wonderful stay at Rooms and Apartment Djanovic. Our studio room was very clean, comfortable, charming and equipped with everything you would need for making meals or snacks. There was a convenient coffee shop literally steps from the entrance to the apartment. The apartment is in a very quiet location in the Old Town and we were able to easily walk everywhere. Baldo and Nikolina, our hosts, were very nice, friendly and willing to help us with anything we needed. We would have no hesitation staying there again.

We spent a lovely week here in the Studio Apt. The apt was SPOTLESS, with very well working AC unit (perfect for the hot July afternoons) plus an outfitted kitchen plus a fridge/freezer. Additionally it had a TV, a very clean and made up Queen bed, table and 2 chairs. It was just the right size for my bf and I. Our hosts were wonderful, very accommodating and provided anything we needed (additional linens etc). We would recommend you ask for them to arrange airport transfer (for a fee). After a flight, getting to the Palace and navigating the area can be difficult, you’ll want a guide! The Palace is gorgeous and it feels very special to be staying in the heart of it. We found the apt to be very quiet at night, and very centrally located, we walked everywhere. There is also a wonderful coffee shop immediately downstairs, which makes getting an early morning coffee that much easier. We loved Baldo & Nikolena and found them to be kind and generous hosts.

The Palace is a bit of a labyrinth and Maps isn’t always helpful, be patient and enjoy the wander.

The most wonderful location, right inside diocletian's palace - you feel like you are at the heart of the city. Easy walking distance to everything....breakfast at the Green Market, beaches, hiking to Marjan & you return back to the palace every night! We messaged in advance & arranged for pick-up / drop-off to the airport and it was seamless (for a Family of 6 :-)). We learned a bit of background on Split both to/from the airport & we received a lot of helpful tips for our visit. If you go, please utilize Djanovic's because they were so helpful/insightful (they recommended places to visit, what to eat, etc.). Great people!

I like everything. The location is in the middle of the Roman Square, in the lively old town. The host is more than welcome, friendly. The room was very charming and very spacious, the ferry is walking distance, the main streets with restaurants are 2 minutes away, the bus station and train station are 5 minutes away. I strongly recommend

This apartment takes the atmosphere from the old town inside. The view into the patio is beautiful and you are welcomed with a lovely hallway. It has everything you would need for a nice holiday in split. We loved the location since it is in the old town and you have lots of places to eat or drink nearby. The hosts were really nice and helpful. The apartment was really clean. The kitchen itself was completely equipped which is perfect if you want to cook for yourself. We would definitely recommend and revisit.

Loved, loved staying in the old historic building. Everything was right outside your door! Loved the old architecture and quaint feeling of the space! The owner was very helpful with all our questions and concerns. He met us at the cab stop before entering the old castle grounds. And a good thing he did ! We never would have found the place! It is like an enormous maze! The room was adequate for our needs and very clean.

I really have no complaints except I wish the shower was a bit bigger.

The room was comfortable, clean and cozy, it had everything you need, the bed was comfortable. Toilet was clean and you have warm water in any time, It was calm, not noisy, feeling like you are at home. The location is excellent, you are next to the coast and the promenade in 2 minutes, you have restaurants, markets nearby. The owners are nice, kind and friendly, they will help you with everything you need and guide you, what is best to visit and eat, where to find transportation and how not to get lost. Available at any time. I will definitely come again!
