Location was perfect! Super comfy beds and pillows. Room was on a larger scale which is perfect! Did not use any of the outside facilities as this was an unexpected BUISNESS Trip.

Did not like that parking was additional extra. Had we of known we would have not stayed there! We have a vehicle full of equipment + how else am I to get there walk? Parking should be a given! Chose to park car near Hello Sailor. Will not go back there due to the extra fees for parking.

So much to love about this place! Clean, comfortable, amazing pool, great food, awesome vibe and lovely staff. Loads across the road (shopping centre, Panthers Club, cafes, Maccas) and the main strip is a long walk or a short drive away. The pool was a highlight as it was the perfect temperature, had loads of comfy lounges and easy to access into it with wide steps. We will definitely be back 👍

Our room was massive with so much open space and yet the bathroom was so small you literally have to climb over the toilet to close the door. I ended up with a massive bruise from my partner opening the door while I was on the toilet.

Bed was very comfortable & a lovely walk into the town centre. The gardens & pool area are great & a great size bedroom

Over 30 mins to book in as only one staff member on duty & 4 groups of people before us to book in on a Friday late afternoon. Pool side food & drinks took over 40 mins as only one staff member on duty. Poor guy was taking the orders at the bar then taking leaving the bar area to take the orders outside. He ran out of plastic glasses for the pool area & food was cold when it arrived. Very short staffed at breakfast so always having to ask for a bowl, juice, hot water for coffee or no milk etc The staff were lovely but expected to do far to much. Not happy to pay $15 a day for parking

When we arrived the concierge was friendly and advised us that we had been upgraded to a pool view room. We were so happy with this. The room was perfect, clean and tidy. The balcony was relaxing overlooking the pool, especially at night, as we had a drink to unwind.

When we arrived for breakfast at 9:30am, every empty table hadn’t been cleared. We managed to move some items to another table but it could have used a wipe down. Staff didn’t attempt to assist or even wipe the table. The other tables atill weren’t cleaned when we finished breakfast.

Everything but the food. The staff were amazing and friendly and everything looked clean and fresh.

We ate dinner in the restaurant, unfortunately the food was not worth the money we paid. The mains were lacking flavour and seasoning, and the desserts were entirely disappointing. We had 2 chocolate crème brûlées which had a very watery consistency and 2 Pavlovas that were served without cream, the strawberries that came with it were sour and if I’m being honest I feel like the meringues were store bought.

Location, staff and facilities

The restaurant: firstly because the menu was very limited (and didn’t change each day or week) which was a problem for my wife who is vegetarian and the only hot food was mushroom risotto (and she has an allergy to mushrooms) Secondly the service was poor probably because of understaffing but also on Valentines Night it was overbooked such that we didn’t have a table ready despite having booked 2 weeks previously and once we were seated we weren’t served at all for 20 minutes and had to wait an hour for our food. Not good enough.

The property was clean and well appointed. It was close to amenities and provided easy access.

In general, the property was good. However, the room we stayed in was looking a bit ‘tired’. The bathroom did had water damage to the bottom, wood and paint was peeling. The air con worked however became very noisy in the early hours of the morning - requiring us to turn it off/on to rectify. The property is very nice however I might suggest there needs to be a little attention to detail on some of the room aspects.

Room was lovely looking over the garden and everything we needed was in walking distance. Staff were accomodating and had the cot set up and ready on arrival.

we didn't like the new pay for parking, this isn't the first time we have stayed at sails and we just found the additional fee that wasn't mentioned until you are at the boom gate and understand other members of the public use it and this is a way to deter non guests using it and not using the facilities but for staying hotel guests it should be validated.

The location is good.

We ordered a garden view room which was quite expensive for the (long) weekend. We were right next to the management room with a public exit to the garden and the function rooms. Quite noisy especially when after a party staff started to roll the trolleys with glassware back to the main building at 11pm. Also a lot of noise from the lobby. In that sense not good value for what we paid extra. Haven’t been able to use the pool due to a chairs occupied the whole time.

Great location on the river, beautiful grounds to explore and very clean and well equipped room for a family of 4. Free use of fishing rods and reels to fish off the hotel jetty, lovely pool with hot spa and could take drinks from the bar to enjoy by the pool which is set right by the river. Buffet breakfast was delicious and staff were extremely helpful. Couldn’t fault it! Would recommend staying here.
