We had a beautiful room overlooking the square with two big windows with a big bathroom. We were able to check in a little early with no problem. We enjoyed the roof terrace and the views of Quito and had a drink there in the evening and also had a very nice meal at the restaurant at night. The breakfast was excellent, it was a buffet with a wide variety of hot and cold foods. It had a separate menu for specially cooked breakfasts. The staff were helpful and accomodating and it was a great location in the historic area which felt very safe.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Welcoming and friendly staff. Perfect location in the centre of historic Quito - great for exploring and seeing all the sites. Wished we could have stayed for longer. The room exceeded my expectations. I could only see a ‘twin’ room available but on arrival was given a king bed room instead. We had the garden room which was absolutely beautiful overlooking the stunning courtyard.

The only issue was that the bath water leaked onto the bathroom floor from under the side panel. Due to only staying there for one night it wasn’t a big deal. The separate shower was perfect.

I had a wonderful stay. The room was very clean, well equipped, decorated with taste. The service was discreet and perfect. Hotel ideally located. Will be back for sure! the breakfast was very nice and the service was perfect. The barmen were great. The concierge very helpful. The security men and doormen were very welcoming and very professional.

the tasting menu was a bit disappointing. Not at the level of my expectation.

The high ceiling and spacious bathroom. A beautiful historic property with impeccable service. Both the breakfast and dinner were very good.

The location is very good but the one way traffic in front of the hotel is awful so some Uber drivers may avoid pick up there. Though I never had an issue getting an Uber- just be prepared for a 10 minute wait.

Beautifully restored building in a central location. Friendly and attentive staff. Tasty food using local ingredients and catering for gluten free diets. Lovely shower. Great views of the city from the terrace.

Very a unique and cozy place with a touch of history. It's located in a great spot. The staff is exceptional.

I wasn't touched well enough by the restaurant at the hotel It's far from fine dining in my opinion Maybe I choose the wrong dishes 🤷‍♂️

The property is marvellous. The staff is very professional, absolutely 5 star level. They have a great terrace and very nice restaurant.

Breakfast’s choice could be improved to match the level of the hotel: I’d give it a 3.5/5 while the hotel is definitely a 5/5. Also, it was pretty hot in the room.

Beautiful hotel in a very central location to the Old Town. Delicious restaurant food, nice bar and overall very attentive staff and good service. Lobby filled with beautiful fresh Ecuadorian roses. Filtered water fountain in lobby is helpful.

Traffic to get in and out of this location can be crazy. we didn’t go to the TelepheriQo because we couldn’t face getting back into a cab after sitting in traffic for so long to arrive. We ordered a quite expensive box breakfast to take away and they put an open bottle of water into one of the bags (by accident we assume)

Casa Gangotina is unbelievable! Food is amazing, decorations are very tasteful. This is the best place I’ve stayed at and we travel frequently. We have been comparing it to Andez resort in Hawaii (hard to pick between them). Breakfast is delicious. I ordered the trangillo (forgive my spelling) every day I was there…. Soooo good! The drinks at the bar are all great and I found their empanadas beyond perfect. Only downside is that it is expensive, but there is nothing better than this place.

Ummmmm….. the a/c didn’t work? The weather was ideal so we really didn’t need it, but still couldn’t turn it on.

Amazing service, all the staff very helpful, very quiet at night, great drinks and location!
