The location is the heart of the downtown and near the metro stations and Tahrir square! The road is very active till midnight and you feel safe around and you can shop around and good restaurants are around! The room was very clean and the basic facilities were there! The hotel is located in an old building so the entrance is not really welcoming and a bit noisy in the night but I was not sensitive to noise to sleep!

Staff behaviour was really awesome and cooperative. Spot on the location. The room was clean enough.

I spent a couple of.nights in room 205. This room, as well as the entire hotel space from what I could see appeared to have been very recently renovated. or either it is maintained extremely well. Whatever the case may be, room 205 was spotless. I suspect the other rooms are also. Another thing I liked about this room was the silence. Other than the occasional sound of other doors on the floor opening and closing and some conversations I heard outside my door, in the hallway, it was a very quiet space. The staff was also very responsive. This is particularly important in this hotel because the main door to access all the rooms on the second floor is closed and locked between midnight and 08:00 and can only be unlocked from the outside. So, if you want to leave the floor between midnight and 08:00 to go outside, you must use a phone hanging on the wall beside the door to call someone to come and unlock the door for you from the outside. I had to leave my room a couple of times between.midnight and 08:00 and someone was there to unluck the door within a minute everytime, so this set up doesn't pose any significant inconvenience.

The one thing that I didn't like is the attempt that the staff made to sell me a Nile River boat cruise. The receptionist made a deliberate point to do this immediately after I checked in and after that the gentlemen that led me to my room did the same thing. Not that they did this in a rude way or anything like that but every visitor to Egypt already knows about Nile River cruises and that literally every hotel in Egypt can arrange these, as well as any other type of outing. No one needs to be informed of this, certainly not more than once even before they have reached their room for the first time. I suppose this hotel has a deal with someone who operates one of these cruises. Anyway, I'm interested in wasting my money on a river boat cruise, so I politely declined.

Our hotel experience was truly like a home away from home, and it's all thanks to the warm hospitality of Youssef and Wael at the front desk. Their friendly demeanor made us feel instantly at ease. Throughout our stay, the entire staff contributed to creating a cozy and welcoming environment. The cleaning crew maintained a level of cleanliness that added to the homely feel, and the restaurant team served up meals with a comforting touch. The tour guide the hotel booked us with was amazing too. His knowledge and enthusiasm added an extra layer of enjoyment to our trip and made it unforgettable! What set this place apart was the staff's ability to make every interaction personal. It was like they knew what we needed before we did, giving our stay a uniquely homey touch. They want to charge 2.5% on credit card payment . This did not happen with me in any where in other countries. So I paid in cash

The best is the staff of this hotel. All staff here are genuine super nice and kind. They are always happy to help. The place is also super safe. The room is reasonable and clean with fridge in the room. Because it is in central part of Cairo, there is a little noisy at night, but the noisy level is not bad, complete ok for me any my husband. There are so many local restaurants, cafe and juice shops nearby, and a money exchange shop just across the street.

Cannot think of any particular item I don't like. May be there is no kitchen available in the hotel. But the hotel is centrally located with so many restaurants, cafes around, so the kitchen is not a problem. Would be nice if it can provide microwave somewhere for customer to use, because we do have some food take away from restaurant from time to time when we ordered to much in restaurants.

They are located on the 7th floor so locating from the street will need a little care for the first time. Follow the pictures along with this review. Take the passage into the building between the watch house & the home appliance store & turn left from the far end. Nice young team handling the property , which is rather new and for the price , offers great value. The locality is a bustling place with a variety of good eateries and street shopping.

The honking on the streets could be a nuisance but in the heart of Cairo, there is nothing much that can be done about it :)

Very good place, prices are cheap but the room has everything, it's on the 7th floor of an older building but everything looks new and is well maintened The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, really loved my stay and came back a few times during my visit to Egypt. Located in central Cairo, has all amenities you need. Good breakfast as well.

not the hotels fault but being in downtown Cairo, there are many cars around so a lot of traffic and noise from the street, but after midnight it quiets down. Internet could be improved a little bit.

It was in the centre of Cairo, so I couldn't reasonably expect it to be quiet and anyone staying in a budget downtown hotel should take earplugs, so it's no fault of theirs. The staff were young, pleasant and very helpful on any occasion. There was always one of them at the desk, so security was strong. Again, it was the hardworking, supportive, positive attitude of the staff which made all the difference.

Good location to explore the city, super convenient near the center with a real vibe of central Cairo. Room to be paid upon arrival, USD accepted at official rate (1:30 in December 2023). Breakfast 100LE, nothing too fancy but way enough and we liked it. The staff is very kind and helpful.

The noise from the street is quite a nuisance (constant honking just kinder the windows, which have no isolation whatsoever), even if it gets better between midnight and 6am. The hotel itself is cozy and clean, but the building is very shabby and dirty on foreign standards.
