We loved it here! Our stay here was great. The hostel is located on the 4th floor of an building with an elevator. We booked a 3 Bed room. It was clean, not noisy at all and really spacious. We even had a fridge in our room. And the balcony was great to get a little bit of fresh air. The included breakfast was an omelette, bread, cheese, jam, butter, tea or coffe and a juice. It was tasty and more than enough for us. The price and the qualitiy of the room was really good, we would book it again any time! The rooms and the facilities of the floor where the hostel was located were in a good shape. Dont be irritated from the building and the elevator, they just look like from ancient times but they do work pretty fine ;) What really made our trip was the staff. Everyone was really friendly and helpful. Especially the two ladies, shrouk and asmaa were so nice and lovely! Thank you again!

- The staff were absolutely amazing and made me feel welcomed and comfortable. Ziad gave me such a nice welcome, even though I arrived late at night. The young ladies preparing the breakfast always kindly delivered it to the room's balcony. - Speaking of balcony, that was my favorite part of the room :) It was spacious and had chairs and table, so it was even possible to do some work on the laptop there, which I needed. The hotel is on the 5th floor, so high enough not to have the view obstructed by any other building. - The room was actually bigger than how it looked in the photos. - There are enough plugs to charge your devices, as well as different kinds of lights to create comfortable atmosphere in the room at night. - Stable wi-fi with sufficient speed. - The location is also amazing, you can visit many of the interesting sights on foot and generally it's a really pleasant neighbourhood for aimleslly roaming around :) Many fast foods, restaurants and cafés in the area. Very lively, day and night and I felt safe even when coming back late in the evening. - Overall great value for money.

New Midtown in Cairo? Yeah, I guess it’s not bad if you're into things like 'excellent service' and 'friendly staff' being a baseline expectation. Honestly, you'd think being treated decently is groundbreaking these days. But hey, the rooms didn’t fall apart, the breakfast didn't taste like cardboard, and the staff? They were nice enough to not throw you into the Nile. Five days of solid, functional hospitality—what a miracle! If that’s your thing, congrats, you found your place.
Literally nothing bothered me. It was like they read my mind and decided to outdo perfection just to mess with me. Honestly, I'm impressed.

The room was spacious and clean. We were surprised that it was also quiet because the city is extremely loud. Our host was kind and always attended our every need. We booked some of the tours he provided us with a kind tour guide and we saw many things. Breakfast was enough to start the day and was provided even earlier than scheduled time because the tours start early and that is a big plus. We were disappointed for one of our tours because the goverment decided to close the site but our host immediately arranged other activities to do. I would suggest to change the photos because the rooms are better than what is shown online and that has a negative impact.
The only thing we would like to have was more time to enjoy the views on every tour but it is understandable because of the pressure to see everything on the time schedule. Other than that the whole experience as a hotel and tours was enjoyable.

From the moment we arrived, the check-in process was seamless and efficient. Mahmoud, the manager, personally greeted us with a warm welcome, setting the tone for a fantastic stay. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and ensured that all our needs were met promptly. Our room was nothing short of spectacular. It was spacious, impeccably clean, and well-appointed with modern amenities. The comfortable bed and high-quality linens ensured a restful night's sleep, while the stylish decor added a touch of luxury to the ambiance. The hotel's location is ideal for both business and leisure travelers. Situated in the heart of the city, it provides easy access to major attractions, shopping districts, and dining options. Whether I was attending meetings or exploring the local sights, everything was conveniently within reach. The service at Midtown Hotel was truly exceptional. Every staff member I encountered went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Mahmoud, in particular, deserves special recognition for his attentiveness and dedication to guest satisfaction. His efforts truly made our stay memorable. The staff were friendly, kind, and always willing to assist with a smile. Breakfast was a delightful experience, featuring a variety of delectable and delicious options to suit all tastes. The quality of the food was outstanding, making each morning meal a pleasure. The combination of luxurious accommodations, exceptional service, and prime location makes it a top choice for anyone visiting the city. I highly recommend Midtown Hotel and look forward to returning on my next visit. Kudos to Mahmoud and the entire team for creating such a memorable experience!

The hostel is in the middle of everything and very walkable to the sites. Cairo is a magical city and the hostel really lets you experience the city to its fullest potential. The best part of the hostel though is the people who work there; Abdelrahman worked the night shift when we were there, which meant he was up to check us in when we arrived after 3:00 a.m., kept us company over breakfast, and made sure we had everything we needed. Abdelrahman even hooked us up with a great driver who took us to the pyramids, Memphis, and Saqqara.

Midtown was clean, tidy and well presented, in contrast to many other accommodation options in Cairo, and not for a price greater than alternatives. The staff were great - thanks goes to Zeyad in particular for helping me to quickly sort an important issue. Furthermore, if you're interested in riding horses, this is the place to go. I travelled to Saqqara with the wonderful Nouran, who taught me how to ride in the Egyptian desert. That day I wasn't terribly good, but the following day I found myself on a horse again and was vastly improved at felt confident on a horse. So if you want to learn to ride, ask for Nouran!
I don't think I could fault anything with this place. It might be slightly tricky to find if you're not taken to it as I was.

Nice hotel I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights , during my stay I discovered a lot of things that make feel comfortable ( my home). In the beginning, when I made check in , I had been hosted by the receptionist shrouk , it was a nice hospitality , made check in so fast. When I get inside the room , the room was spacious , big bed , beautiful terrace , wash room was so cool , blanket and sheets were very clean. There were also some of drinks inside the fridge inside the room ( not for free but with a good price) . I like it. In the second day : i had a unique breakfast that had been served by the girls there . The breakfast was so cool , like a jam , omelette, juice , cheese , yogurt...etc . By the day , we meet the manager Mahmoud that helped us a lot for making our stay so cool , he helped by explaining everything about his tours in Egypt . Thank Alot Mahmoud And when you get out from the hotel , you can find everything is near to you restaurant , supermarket , cafe shop , the Egyptian museum , 10 minutes walking to the Nile . I would like Also to thank all the receptionist at the hotel. I really meant to mention every name in the hotel , because they are a great staff , they are ready to help you at anytime.

The staff is very nice, the breakfast was complete with omelets, Arab bread, falafel, yogurt and coffee. Be aware that they start to cook at 8:30, so it is best to schedule your activities from 9. The neighborhood is very safe but a bit of chaos at night specially in traffic.
Be aware that Cairo is in a poor situation, so come in mind that the neighborhood and the building is old and very dirty. The actual hostel is very nice and clean though. Don't expect any luxor for this price/area in town. Despite that, it is a unique experience and it is safe to walk.

The only hotel during our stay in Egypt that had women at the reception. The staff was very friendly and willing to help us with whatever we needed. The room was very clean and comfortable. They also provided breakfast on the balcony, which was very convenient. The location was quite good, close to everything.
The bathroom and the room didn't have good soundproofing. Also, there was quite a bit of noise at night from construction work inside the building; however, once we informed the manager, the problem was immediately resolved.
