Breakfast is from 6am to 10 am, and includes hot waffles, hot crumbled eggs, hot potatoes, cereal, milk, juice, cofee/tea, jam. yogurt, butter, bagels, cream cheese. Wonderful! That exceeded my expectations. The room is clean. There is a large size TV. There is a bathtub in the bathroom. Coffee machine in the room, microwave and a small fridge.

The room could be a little bigger. The bathtub also. The TV system is a bit complicated, we had to change the remote controls twice, and called the staff for assistance. Also, on the Booking.com the check out/check in time is different from what it actually was. The Booking says, that Room service is every other day - in fact, if you do not ask the front desk for the room service, it won't be provided, no matter how many days you stayed.

Your hotel is a 5 star for the value. The location and price was great. Seriously the breakfast was nice and the service very friendly. You are about a 5 minute drive to the beach and basically it is a straight line to it. I will book again when visiting San Diego.

Nothing comes to mind

The staff were outstanding! I arrived after 8pm, needing to stay an unexpected night at a hotel while driving a 15' UHaul. (I made a reservation just a couple hours before arriving, suspicious that there was no fee for parking. I wasn't expecting "excellent" customer service because the cost of the room is well below average for the area.) The young man staffing the counter greeted me warmly and professionally. He checked me in quickly, gave me the key, we joked about driving a UHaul, then I went to the room where I was actually WOWED! This is a budget hotel, but the furnishings were nice and clean, the bed was really comfortable, the sink and tub were modern and (again) clean, and everything in the room worked. We ordered Door Dash from Cava (yum!!!) and the delivery person got there quickly. I left an extra-generous tip for the housekeeper because I was so impressed. (Easy to afford, given the budget cost of the room.) NOTE: A few days later I stayed at a Courtyard on Hotel Circle. The price was more than double, the smell of mildew when I walked in the room made my head snap back, the lobby was a zoo, checkin took 20+ minutes, and I was forced to pay $30 PER NIGHT to park a normal car in an especially cramped parking spot. It underscored just how much value the SureStay was.

I want to be clear... this is NOT a high-end hotel, nor is it a hotel that many people who live outside Southern California would recognize as a safe place. Southern California has a different "feel" than other parts of the country: real estate prices are outrageous, a parking fee at hotels is almost a guarantee, tiny run-down strip malls that would look sketchy in Utah are perfectly normal here. (A reminder that San Diego is now literally the most expensive city to live in the entire US.) NONETHELESS... We were two women familiar with the area and felt perfectly safe! This is a BUDGET hotel, but it's extremely clean, with modern bathrooms, and attentive owners/employees, and has the potential to give you some great sleep.

Close to my childs school.. Bring that we have no home. BEING HOMELESS He still jeeds to attend school witjh a warm breakfast

it was a last minute booking as we pulled into town at night. The room was nice and clean. It had all the basic accommodations we needed for one night. In the morning. there was a nice breakfast available with scrambled eggs , sausage, waffles, muffins, juice, coffee, etc. I would like to give a shout out to Jocelyn, the night desk clerk who checked us in Upon calling her regarding having problems with the toilet in our room, she immediately gave us a new room without question, and a little goodie bag for the inconvenience it caused. Completely unexpected treat for having to change rooms. a nice place and great staff, I highly recommend it.

I really liked the self-service waffle maker. I've never used one before. The maple syrup-topped result was really delicious. The guy at the reception was very helpful.

There was nothing wrong with the general cleanliness, but there were some strange black spots on a few towels, and the bedding had a rather peculiar smell. I should also mention that the neighborhood wasn't the quietest due to the constant traffic.

The breakfast was fabulous! I really prepared for it to just be bread, like some reviewer said, but when I woke up at 7:00 a.m. to eat, I was shocked. There was made-to-order waffles, eggs, sausages, three different types of cereal, pastries, yogurt, two different types of juices, water, & hot drinks. And the price was good. It was absolutely the cheapest we could find for a two bed room. I had no idea that we would get $40 worth of breakfast included!

The location is definitely challenging, but the Thai food restaurant that is next door is superb!

I liked how friendly the staff was and how clean the room was. Breakfast was just as good.

Didn't like that the toilet seat in the room was slightly loose and moved around . Didn't like that the restroom door would stick and was tough to open and close without making too much noise. It was almost the same with the entry door. Parking was a big issue due to not having enough. Had to park the vehicle out on the street, which meant we had to wake up earlier than we wanted to just to bring it in from the street before it gets taken and impounded.

Breakfast was very good. When we stayed there before there was a very friendly older lady. She interacted with the people, but this time the girl was young and wasn't friendly. The other personel were super sweet. We love when you walk in to check in and you are greeted by Gina. She is the best and she makes you feel home!!

We missed the lady that use to do the breakfast. She was sweet and interacted with you the best that she could. She spoke Spanish, but she tried and was sweet.

Location was great, rooms were great, and the breakfast was delicious. I was actually unaware the breakfast was available. And due to the event that we were attending was early this was great, so thank you for offering those services

Parking was a little crowded and limited but other then that ok, one of the other things was that when checking in they ask you for a 100 dollar deposit per room, I think this should be mentioned when booking the room and taken care of beforehand, some people just wants to get to the hotel get there key and be done. I would think that that's why booking a room ahead of time is for.
