I absolutely loved the vibrant, welcoming atmosphere of the hostel. Its beachfront location provided incredible views and made it easy to enjoy the ocean at any time. The common areas were well-designed for meeting new people, and the events hosted by the staff added a fun, social element to my stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating, always going out of their way to ensure guests had a memorable experience. I also appreciated how clean and organized everything was, even with such a lively crowd.

The staff were super accommodating. The beds were comfy. I didn’t even have to lock my stuff up hut they do have lockers there for those that need that extra piece of mind. They have weekly activities there too so you always have something to look forward to! The nightlife was 11/10. Also located right by a 7-Eleven for alcohol. The beach is right there and connects to a tons of other great places to explore up and down the boardwalk. I can’t wait to come back, thank you ITH!

That we couldn’t blast music late at night but thats okay… theres tons of places to go and enjoy that kind of vibe

+++The location was absolutely amazing, definitely best thing about the place! ++Feel of the place was pretty solid, effort into the daily activities and get-togethers was great resulting in a decent atmosphere. +Overall people were friendly, and most of the staff were great.

—-Facilities and rooms are in considerable need of some work, and judging by the reviews have done so for some time. —Few staff members were very much to themselves and stand-offish. -Dependant on which 4bedder you stay in, staff members will go through your room to access theirs.

Location: - beach right there (nice view from the balcony as well). - busy area. - bunch of food options. Volleyball (played everyday with other travelers and staff from the hostel). Breakfast: you can make your own eggs and pancakes Price Offering to change your room if someone snores (have not tried it only saw the sign). They also offer free earplugs. Free towels.

Quiet times are not followed or "enforced". I've had other hostels do a better job at ensuring quiet times are followed and respected by all travelers. Cat roaming free in the room and on the beds (It's the hostels cat). Note: I'm sure they would have done something about it if I said I did not like cats or prefer not having one around, but I'm not afraid or allergic to cats, so I didn't bother bringing it up. Also, if you like cats I guess this might be a plus to you. The rest of the stuff I "did not like" I expected since it is a hostel such as (number of people in room, snoring, ...). But still fine for the the price. Note: they have a sign that say you can ask to switch rooms if your roommate snores and they offer earplugs for free.

It is RIGHT on the beach which is what drew me to this hostel. I stayed in the 8 bed women's room, and because it is upstairs in the back, it was a pretty quiet room - probably the best location for me. I did wear earplugs to sleep since I tend to go to bed pretty early. There are daily events which are fun, and the deck is great - hammocks and couches, and there is always fun music playing and people hanging out. They also have beach chairs and stuff to borrow which was awesome. I went to Heart Yoga in nearby Mission Beach for beach yoga and it was lifechanging.

I wish the bunk beds had things like curtains or privacy screens, and shelves with outlets, like I've seen at other hostels. Also, the bathroom in our 8 bed women's room was a traditional bathroom, so if someone was taking a shower or was in there a long time, you had to go downstairs and hope the one off the deck was open. In other hostels, they have toilet stalls and shower stalls so that there is more availability.

right on the beach .. very chill vibes .. staff especially Stacie was amazing .. it’s not the Hilton but it’s not supposed to be .. it’s a beach bungalow on the beach .. sandy and kind of old exactly what you would expect for a beachfront bungalow ..I had a great relaxing chill weekend ..especially on the hammock..the hostel has activities every night that you can participate in or you can just chill and do your own thing .. no judgement at all..

The location is fantastic you literally stay on the beach the energy is so amazing! There is also markets and restaurants around thats make it very convenient. The staff are so friendly and helpful Marcos helped as a lot introducing the place and making as few like home. He is an amazing person and has a vast knowledge about everything that happens in town!

Nothing to complain about. It was jut perfect!

The hostel is right by the beach and has amazing sunset views from the common deck where a lot of travellers hang out. They had a free barbecue dinner for everyone on Sat night which was super fun. Super convenient for surfers to rent boards and wet suits and go out surfing.

The make your own breakfast included was a little chaotic for ppl who are not very good at cooking ( like me) but was still part of a fun experience so I wouldn’t complain

Loved the location. Most of the staff was pretty awesome and helpful. Loved the breakfast and the common areas. I think everyone loves the hammocks!

The quiet hours are optional. I'm a night owl but I do like my sleep. It was loud with music past 1AM and people talking all night until sunrise (and I did have a private room).
