Hotel in a very good position on the Grand Canal & only minutes away from St Mark's Sq. & next to a vaporetto stop. Renovated only a few years ago & so the rooms are of a very high standard & beautifully decorated. Comfy beds and nice quality bed linen. Some rooms have outside terraces, which are nice to relax on. We were fortunate to have been placed in the Alcova Casanova suite, with a large outside terrace from which there were absolutely amazing views. So try and book this room if funds stretch.. Staff friendly & helpful. Good breakfast selection. We are regular visitors to Venice, every 2/3 years over the last 20 years, and have usually stayed at another very high quality hotel in Venice, but after our first stay here, will certainly stay here again on our bi annual visits.

There was nothing to dislike but we always prefer a kettle in the room for easy access to our morning tea rather than having to wait & get dressed for room service.

The hotel itself was elegantly appointed. The gold marble in our bathroom was really stunning. Our only complaint was that our bed, comprised of two twins pushed together, was too hard. The staff, especially at the concierge were friendly and accommodating. The bartender and bar staff (Paolo & Jean-Luca) were fabulously entertaining! Can’t wait to go back!

It was so gorgeous, well designed, great location, close to San Marco Square, restaurants and shops.

A wonderful hotel, with beautiful views of the Grand Canal. A good breakfast by the canal where you can enjoy the sun and watch the gondoliers get ready for the day.

We could not get an iron, as this is not allowed in Venice apparently.

First coming into the property, the boat pulled right up to the hotel. The staff was very helpful and attentive. They upgraded us to a room with a view which added to the overall experience. The room was very comfortable for two people. Easy access to shops, historical locations. Overall it can be viewed as a bit pricy but worth it

There was not anything that stood out. The breakfast was wonderful but if one only wanted coffee, there should be that option versus the whole buffet.nothing else stands out.

Excellent location, can’t be better. The rooms are beautifully decorated in typical Venation style. Very clean. Nice bathroom with all amenities. We were upgraded to a room with a balcony overlooking the Doge’s palace. Absolutely stunning.

The staff in the restaurant and bar wasn’t very polite but considering the amount of tourists one should accept it. Very expensive.

We arrived by car and picked up a water taxi which delivered us right to the waterfront check-in location adjacent to Harry’s Bar &Grill. There can hardly be a better location. The room was large and well-appointed with high-level fixtures, details and decor. There is gondola access adjacent which does not detract from the charm and sitting outside for s cocktail includes good service with a spectacular view.

Excellent location, beautiful accommodation, breakfast on the Grand Canal was outstanding. Staff were excellent and so helpful.

The air conditioning was not functioning despite details provided on our Booking.com confirmation email. When we openned the window(s) as suggested we were bitten by (mosquitoes?). Booking.com needs to update the details to reflect this situation as a matter of urgency.

Very well appointed, clean, bright, and stylish room in a great location. However this is kind of a pricy area of S. Marco so be aware. It's probably the closest to all the luxury design houses if that is a factor for you. I found the location to be perfect for my needs and it was easy to find and basically a step away from Piazza San Marco. Check out Harry's Bar next door (the birthplace of the Bellini). Nice amenities in the bathroom, and I was impressed with the housekeeping and turndown service. Service overall was attentive, available and efficient. The restaurant makes a nice cocktail and a great cappuccino, has a pretty reasonable buffet breakfast with good options. It was 25 Euro to purchase at the time I stayed so may be worth not getting the breakfast included option and instead having them charge it to your room

The bed was a bit stiff for my taste, and I would've preferred additional pillows available in the room. I'm sure if I would've called down, though, they would have brought them. I was just too knackered to bother.

What a wonderful location to spend with your loved one. Any place in Venice can be wonderful, however when you are located on the Grand Canal, it is magical. The rooms are opulent, clean and comforting. The breakfast is sumptuous and tastey. The staff were very friendly and happy to help you with booking events to guiding you to locations. Can't wait to be here again on our next trip.
