Location is excellent, room , breakfast, staff are very nice

When arrived at the hotel at about 6 pm there was nobody there, the door was closed and we felt lost - after a long flight of more than 10 hours and a long drive from Zurich. We tried to call from our mobile phone but did not succeed. Then a guest came out of the door and agreed to help us - we were lucky , the guest called for us a local number, someone replied but was not very kind although we spoke French. We looked for the key according to his instructions inside the building and could not find the location of the box - only later in the conversation it turned out there was a machine outside the building, the hotel clerk did not say so from the beginning but seemed rather upset all the time as if we did something wrong and wasted his time.

The apartment was top notch with all the facilities that were needed for a comfortable stay. A special mention about Lisa the receptionist who sourced a fan for us for the room since I have claustrophobia issues. We were unable to communicate in French to our hotel reception in Chamonix so she voluntarily pitched in and sorted our issue which took her almost 25 minutes.. and she did it with a smile. So apart from the hotel being the best in Annecy it was Lisa who added that personal touch, which made our stay memorable and will love to visit again.

It was our best stay

This is my new favorite place in Annecy (we go every summer). The location right is on the edge of the Old Town, the air conditioning was incredible (we stayed in July), the room had modern amenities but still charm, and the staff was incredibly helpful. I must stress again how great the air conditioning was. We had just spent a week at a nearby apartment with a struggling wall-mounted Air Conditioning unit. So to have this place with amazing central air and separate thermostats for the living room and bedroom was incredible. July had days at 32C or 33C, so 23C in the room was lovely. We actually kept it at 25C/26C, but we confirmed it could drop the temperature to 23C with no problem (experiment after the hot week at the apartment). We also really appreciated a super helpful staff member storing our luggage and prioritizing cleaning our room since we arrived quite early. He went above and beyond. Separate toilet and shower room was a nice touch, and the mini kitchen was convenient. We will stay here on every future trip. I can't say enough how much we loved it (especially after quite imperfect stays at both hotels and apartments nearby). Love this place.

We were on the 6th floor I think and facing the road. So there was outside noise. Some was construction, so that is I'm sure rare and can't be stopped by even the best windows. But we did hear some traffic too. So I would probably request a room facing the garden or away from the road. Hopefully, they have 1-bedrooms in that direction. Also you'll need to reserve parking ahead of time or use a nearby public lot. We used the lake parking since we had been in an apartment that direction. This hotel suggested the postal parking I believe. Obviously, I wish it was a little cheaper, but it's worth the money. For sure.

Good size room with a small amount of storage space. Adequate for our purposes. Small functional kitchen area. We used the fridge, kettle, microwave and sink, but not the cooktop, however good to have these options if you are staying for a few days or longer. Breakfast was quite good and we also used the balcony area for eating. There was a small supermarket nearby where we got a few snacks and drinks for the fridge. Balcony was a nice spot for our appetif in the evening. The hotel is just on the edge of the old town so only a few minutes to find restaurants, cafe’s and shops. The lake is also only about 5 minutes walk. If you get in early you may be able to book a parking spot at the hotel, otherwise you will have to park about 7-8 minutes walk away. The hotel will give you a voucher to reduce your parking cost. We paid 13EURO for 3n/4d. We did the weekend markets, plus a lake boat cruise and also hired bikes to ride the 426kms around the lake. Less accomplished cyclists might prefer an e-bike. On the cruise and the bike you can see the castle painted by Paul Cezanne

Fitness centre was quite small. There could be some more free weights, as well as towels and a water cooler.

Central location, convenient, reasonable kitchen and space. Good balcony looking over the gardens. Efficient check in and out.

Not as clean as expected, table top needed a wipe, some of plates weren’t entirely clean, no sharp knife for cutting vegetables. Noisy at night outside. Uncomfortable pillows. Not possible to check parking availability before booking and one way system in the vicinity of the hotel was very confusing. The staff could not help with directions but otherwise very helpful. No air conditioning.

Amazing place! The apartment was very big and clean, with well-equipped kitchen to make light breakfast and pasta dinner. Location was close to all central truistic locations and was super easy to get everywhere by foot. We asked for parking which was reserved for us, decent size and very comfortable. The staff spoke good English and was very nice and helpful.

Single bathroom for an accommodation of 6 people (we were 2 so it didn't bother us). We weren't aware at reservation that we are going to be sayings at the fourth floor and the elevator only reaches the 3rd one.

It was central and easy to walk around especially after my partner had a fall a couple of weeks prior to my the trip resulting in reducing our stay from three to one night!! We were upgraded to a lovely apartment which was fab!!! Staff were very friendly and very helpful!! Thank you Svetlana!! Lovely stay overall!!

Nothing for me but my partner found the mattress not comfortable! Not a negative as we were aware of having to tidy up the kitchen, but me being OCD I found it stressful to leave the whole apartment in good order!!

The Aparthotel Privilodges Le Royal is in a great location in the centre of Annecy close to the lovely shops, train station and bus station. Lake Annecy is a short walk away and there are some fabulous restaurants and bars all within walking distance. There is a great local Sunday market just around the corner as well as some great places for breakfast. Our studio apartment was clean and comfortable and provided a great base to enjoy and explore Annecy. Definitely recommend a stay here.

The lift wasn't working during our stay, so we had to carry our cases up a few flights of stairs, but the receptionist did assist us when we arrived.

Excellent location, on the edge of the old town so not in the more congested area and hence very quiet. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the Bishop’s garden beside the Notre Dame church. Room , we stayed in a studio apartment. It was modern, looked recently done up, very well thought out, very clean, bed comfortable, nice little kitchen. Good shower, (in our experience, showers often let hotels down, but this was nice and strong).

The little bedside stools were a bit too small and not ideal for putting things on eg glass of water.

Good location within located just outside of Old Annecy (about a 5 minute walk to Palais de l'Ile. Two grocery stores located within 2-3 minute walk of hotel. Lots of restaurants nearby. Jardin de l'Europe and Lake Annecy about a 6 minute walk.

Bathroom was split into 2 rooms- one with the shower and sink and another with just the toilet. That in itself was ok. But the room with the toilet was extremely small; big enough to stand up right in front of the toilet but don't try to raise your arms in any direction or you'll hit the wall.
