Go for the breakfast! It was excellent and delivered to our door at the time we requested. Lovely eggs, warm bread, good cheeses and charcuterie. Bonus: they had a gluten free bread alternative for my partner too! Individually wrapped, to avoid any cross contamination. Also, the staff was super friendly and the location was only a few minutes away from the train station, which was amazing for us as we both arrived by train and had an early morning train to catch after our last night at Villa Segur. It's also really convenient to take the tram from the train station to the city center.

The ventilation in the bathroom wasn't the best, so there was a little bit of mold in some corners over the shower area. Also, our first round of towels smelled a bit like they had been laying in the washer a bit too long, as they had a slight sour smell. The towels we got the next day smelled better.

We enjoyed out stay at Villa Segur. The Villa has been very well renovated and converted inot a boutique hotel. Everything worked as expected : very clean, comfortable Beds. Good SHower. Plenty of room. Only disappointment was that there was no facility for making tea or coffee in the fully prepared [but not equipped ] kitchen, and only one mug was providfed, but the glasses were of very fien quality. The other issue was that it was quite difficult to find form the railway station. Googel maps and Apple maps gets confused around big stations and a little diagram on the booking site of how to get there would be very useful. overall, a 9/10. Thank you

Not for the fuller figure! staircase is very narrow - I barely fitted.....

Really close to Avignon train station :) We arrived later in day when no-one there to greet us, but good communication with staff, so had keycode etc to get in. Accommodation over 2 floors - downstairs a small table, sink & fridge, microwave, small amount china & cutlery. Upstairs spacious bedroom & bathroom, both with velux windows. Breakfast available in your own downstairs area if you want it - need to let them know in advance. Only visitors staying there overnight, but staff always there in the mornings.

Quite steep steps up to the bedroom area.

Location was great - 3 minute walk to St. Jean Gare station. Bed was very comfortable. Shower very powerful.

I had emailed to say my flight was arriving early and Julie confirmed that we could leave our bags at reception until check in time. When we arrived and buzzed at door, a man said we couldn’t come in and to leave our bags in a locker at the train station (this cost us €10).

The breakfast was really good. I especially enjoyed the pastries and normally I don't like croissants. The coffee was fresh - the shower rain-head was effective. The bed was really comfortable. - firm and supportive and not like the soft beds some strange people consider luxurious. The two staff I met were low key but charming and helpful. Its location bnear the station was convenient but still very quiet.

Unfortunately there was no full coeliac alternative for my wife's breakfast though it was possible for her to eat some parts of the breakfast I ordered (and we knew this in advance). The shower and toilet were down some steep stairs so that was a little difficult especially at night. Despite these slight qualifications, it was a very pleasant stay.

We adore our stay here. So easy to find and close to the train station (yet such a quite area for sleep). We arrived late and we were assisted through phone call/email on how to check in to our room which was perfect. The room itself was so beautiful and clean. It had all of the essentials for us such as a fridge, charger ports beside the bed and the terrace with easy accessibity. Staff were fantastic, they kept in contact with us if we needed bed changed or towels etc. 100% will be back

Nice stylish place just couple of minutes walk from station. Pleasant staff, breakfast brought to room at time arranged. Comfy bed on upper floor. Dressing gowns provided for use. Nice controllable temperature of room.

Few minor niggles, no bin upstairs, one bulb gone in bathroom, stairs from upper sleeping room down to bathroom would not suit everyone.

The location was great for train travelers, but also close to the trams to get into downtown. The bedroom was comfortable with good air-conditioning, and there was a fridge and sink in the room, with some simple dishes and wine-bottle opener. Staff was helpful, and the little courtyard was a nice place to sit. There's a coffeehouse nearby for coffee and pastries. Street parking out front wasn't hard to find and was free overnight.

The couch in the sitting area was more like a bench (two small chairs would be more functional) and the bathroom was a little small. (But HAVING a sitting area was great!)

This is a great little guest house. It was very clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a late check in after midnight and the staff were super helpful in organising a transfer which we paid for and they sent all the details for us to get into the property. It is also very close to the train station which has trains to the vineyard region and trams into the city centre. The only thing I would change the next time I book, is a room where we can see out to the courtyard as all we had was a velux and a high window out to the street. But other than that I really could not fault villa segur for anything. It's a lovely find!

It is not in city centre but there are trams every 3/4 mins and you can get a tram ticket for €5 for 24 hours. Also no window where you can look out in our room. Still loads of light though.

A surprisingly good hotel and great value - perfect if you want something near the train station. Staff were helpful and kind. Good wifi. Nice breakfast.

It seemed a shame that there was a kitchenette, but very minimally equipped - no electric jug - made tea by heating water in microwave, but this is minor in the scheme of things
