We had a fantastic stay at Big Sky Hotel, and it’s perfect for families with children! Our 10-year-old especially loved the game room, where they made new friends and had a brilliant time. The staff were absolutely superb—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. The design of the hotel is fabulous and relaxed, with iconic lighting and stylish interiors that make it a joy to spend time in. The food and drinks were excellent, with plenty of options to please everyone. We can’t wait to return for another memorable family holiday!

We spent 1 week at Big Sky and it was wonderful! Everything was perfect, the room was really nice, modern and clean (they’ve cleaned the room everyday). The breakfast had plenty of options with quality food. We also ate dinner at the restaurant and it was delicious. They had live music which was really nice. The hotel is renovated with a very modern touch, the personell is polite and helpfull. We also enjoyed the pool and it was nice to have this opportunity after a full day of skiing. Also, the location for us was perfect, we had our car so it was easy to go anywhere, and fast. The ski bus leaves several times a day, right in front of the hotel, so if you don’t want to take your car, you have this option. I really recommend this hotel, it’s great value for money!

Lovely cozy family hotel. Free pool and games to play. Nicely decorated with Christmas theme. Amazing staff at reception, very helpful and friendly. Nice pool area and pretty quiet both times we visited. We had a nice room with beautiful Mountain View. 10 minutes bus ride to Chamonix. Free parking.

We didn’t like the menu at the restaurant, it was an odd menu with more like picky food, rather than main meals. Also on our 3rd night some guests came back at 3am and were being loud and banging their doors every 5 minutes which kept waking us up, not the hotels fault though! Apart from those 2 things our stay was perfect!

The overall location and facilities are pretty cool. The mountain views, the pool, the decoration and vibes... Everything is fantastic to relax after a time hiking and skiing. Also, the bed was comfy and the bathroom clean and very complete. There is a bus stop just next to the hotel, which is convenient. Train station is not too far if you like to walk like us (around 20 min), and it is free all around the valley with the Carte d'Hôte they give you at the hotel.

For me, food in the dinner restaurant was too expensive for the quantity and quality. Breakfast had many options, but it was only correct. The main problem is that in the surroundings there is nothing unless you go to Chamonix. If you travel without a car, you'll need to take your time by using bus or train to head to Chamonix or other places in the valley.

We recently stayed at Big Sky hotel for six nights. The surrounding views and nature were incredibly peaceful and breathtaking. The staff is friendly and accommodating. There is a pool in the hotel, which was a big plus for us as a family with kids The room was not big , but clean , and had a wall warmer for the towels. Everyday cleaning services were provided The hotel offers a bus shuttle to Chamonix and back, There were also scheduled public bus #2 that stopped at the hotel. The train station is in 5 minutes walking distance. The good location of the hotel makes it a good choice for those who seek a relaxing getaway in the mountains .

We had a great time. However I wish it would be a drawer for the clothes in the room. For the family of 4 with 2 kids and for staying longer than just a weekend we really needed it. And no fridge in the room. The dining option was only a hotel's restaurant, but our 6y.o and 12y.o kids were limited in their choices , since no other places to eat within walking distance around.

We arrived at the hotel at 10:30 in the morning, and check-in was at 16:00. Since the room was ready, they gave it to us upon our arrival. The buffet breakfast was vast, offering a variety of cheeses, pastries, eggs, sausages, and salami, along with juices, coffee, and tea. The reception lounge is pleasantly designed and spacious, with comfortable sofas, chairs, a billiard table, and table soccer to entertain everyone.

The restaurant menu offered only a few dishes, but the ones we ordered were delicious and well-presented. It's a pity that pizza was only included on the menu on Sundays and Mondays.

The hotel was warm, cozy, well kept and inviting. The staff were very professional, always warm and friendly and able to assist with all of our queries and requests. My Sister had flown in from Bangkok to surprise us on our trip and the team facilitated a very happy reunion. It made our year! We also liked the travel options to get into Chamonix which were easy and convenient. The setting of the hotel is just outside of Chamonix but beneath the most beautiful glaciers with a backdrop of the mountains. Picture perfect.

The hot tub/jacuzzi was a bit chilly.

Great location, modern interior and plenty of space. They have 24 hours bar with drinks and coffee, and very friendly staff. Enjoyed making new friends and playing games in the game area. Also had a chance to get a quick workout done. They had a clean bed and water/food bowls prepped for the dog in my room. My pup was so happy meeting all the new friendly people in the reception/bar area everyday, and the staff members were very kind to him as well. 6 mins drive to Les Houches, 8 mins to Brevent/Chamonix town, which makes it perfect for the snowboarding/ski trip.

Hot tub was a miss as it’s more of a warm tub than a hot tub, but it’s an easy fix, hopefully they’ll take the reviews in account and increase the temperature. Wish they had a mini-fridge in the room for some small stuff like juices and dog food, but they held stuff for me at the front desk, and they’re available 24 hours, so it was okay.

Mohamed was fantastic, he was super helpful supporting with a room issue. He provided us with very personal suggestions and helped us make the most of our stay. The breakfast buffet is excellent, delicious with many options. The branding of the hotel is fun with a 70s vibe.

Many staff struggled with basic English. When we asked for an upgrade we were given a room with sunbeds and the pool right in front. We had to fight to justify that we had no privacy and that no mention of the nearness of the pool was mentioned when an upgrade was discussed. We then had to re-justify our dissatisfaction with the new staff the next day. Otherwise, the pool itself was too cold and the hot tub wasn't hot.

This hotel exceeded our expectations! We are driving through Europe on a summer road trip so only stayed for a few nights; however, this is somewhere we have already planned to return to! Our room was of standard size. We had a double bed & a pull out sofa bed, as well as a modern bathroom. It was ample room for our family. The aesthetic & general feel of the hotel is reminiscent of a stylish, retro ski lodge, yet it also was extremely modern. The grounds of the hotel were great and we spent our evenings looking at the mountains and eating pizza from the outside dining area. The swimming pool was excellent for our children & we spent a whole day relaxing & swimming. The staff were incredibly kind & helpful. We ate from the pizzeria onsite & had breakfast. Both were wonderful! There is a play room for children, a pool table & a small gym too which we didn't use but looked great. The drive to Chamonix was around 10 minutes; however, there is also public transport that is easily accessible if not travelling with a car. We are travelling with our two children, and our son is autistic and non-verbal. This hotel made us so happy due to the understanding nature of the staff & the ability for our son to have fun without being judged. I would say this hotel is perfect for families! Thank you so so so much!
