Central location was perfect for walking to the town. The receptionist was friendly and spoke excellent English but because I spoke in not so fluent french she respected that I was trying and spoke back in french. Which I appreciated! Room was clean and bed was comfy. Pillows were too hard for me but I'm quite fussy! Shower was good and powerful. Usb ports were useful. Plenty of plug sockets. Nice view of the street Parking underground was convenient and only €8.50 for the night. Breakfast was €12.90 but we didn't have time to have it. Maybe next time!

The location was central and within walking distance of most places in the old town. The car parking was behind a locked gate and very secure. The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. The guy who checked us in spoke very good English. Our twin room was larger than we expected, not 'huge' large but more spacious than we expected for the price, it had a lovely shower and french door windows which looked out over the car park and cathedral. Breakfast was buffet style, plentiful, varied and delicious!

This is exceptionally picky (but for the sake of filling in this field) we had a set of electric sockets in the room which did not work.

Great staff. Really clean throughout. had a very nice room with good water flow and hot shower. Breakfast was a well stocked and presented. (even had scrabbled eggs and French bacon) Minimal food available (Snaking) with Bar, however good restaurant at the end of road (2 mins walk) see notice in reception

Better instructions regarding parking (police were not going to allow me access to road, despite notice stating "access allowed for residents - then a bit of dodgy parking in road moment, when i had to leave car and enter building to ask to have gate opened ) No tea or coffee making faculties in room. not sure other guests or staff going to be happy with my in underpants going down 3 floors for a morning coffee.

Superb location and good private parking.

Parking was easy the day we were there but it would be nice to have to be able to reserve parking in advance.

Brilliant location within a few minutes' walk to Chartres cathedral, shops, restaurants, railway station and Le Colisée, where we went to a concert. We loved everything about this hotel. The staff were unfailingly welcoming and helpful, the hotel was beautiful and clean, the breakfast was good and excellent value for money, we had a view of the cathedral from our room, and there was a secure car park for a fee. I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Chartres.

Excelent location, close to the cathedral, good restaurants and cafés. Very service minded personnel, they did their outmost to help us, and recommend us the best restaurant, according to our expressed needs. Quiet and pleasent hotel.

We had too change the room because the double bed was made of to beds, with two corresponding mattresses. We wanted one bed for two persons. The personnel was very helpful and we got a room with the bed we wanted, which also had both the toilet and the sink in the bathroom. The first room they offered had separate toilet, but the sink was in the bathroom.

Nice friendly & helpful staff, excellent breakfast, underground and above ground parking at a reasonable cost and right behind the hotel. Good size rooms and big beds.

The rooms was very cold when we arrived and the thermostat on the wall to control the heating was not obvious as there were defunct radiators as well. There were no in structions for operating and regulating the thermostat. When we eventually discovered it we had to have the heating full blast for several hours to get the room warm. There were no extra blankets available on a very cold night.

Friendly and helpful staff, room was good, very good breakfast. Onsite parking which is great, well located near cathedral and town centre, I was able to leave my car parked at the hotel while I explored the town after check out. There is also a bar at reception if you want a drink before heading out for dinner. All round good value.

Does not have a fridge if you travel with perishable food to store overnight, nor glasses or coffee facility. Not sure about the security of wifi that does not require a password, but they do require an email address (?).

The staff were welcoming and very helpful, especially Jean Paul. The location was excellent. We had only a few minutes walk to reach the cathedral. We had a fantastic view of the cathedral from our room. The room and bed were very comfortable. The hotel car park was large and secure.

The aircon didn't work, but there was a fan in the room, which was adequate as we slept with the window open. The sink didn't have a plug. We bought breakfasts for euro12 but they were not worth the money being poor to average at best.

This is a quaint, little hotel. We just stayed one night on our way back to Paris from Bayeux. The rooms are clean. The only negative is that the toilet is in a different room than the sink and shower. It would have been nice to have a sink in the water closet that houses the toilet. But that is not something they could change for the entire building at this point. The staff was kind and helpful. The breakfast was good. We were able to walk a short distance over to the Notre Dame Cathedral-Chartres. The staff also recommended a number of restaurants for us to choose from. We would recommend the hotel to others.

The only thing we didn't really like was not having a sink in the water closet where the toilet is. We had to go into the closet where the shower is to be able to wash our hands after going to the bathroom.
