The sitting area, down floor, extremely chill. II did like it. And the good mattress from bed, super ok I did like the fact that the personnel of the hostel did take into consideration my preference. Thank you . This side of town is not far from the shopping area. To Bellecour, you walk 15 min. If you want to go on top of hill where is Notre-Dame de Fourvie, you have to walk 45 min , or you can do it in 15 min with metro & funicular or metro/walk or metro & bus. (Still you will enjoy the walk finding nice builings and views). Around you do have different supermarkets and restaurants so it is super ok. ( If you do like snacks, sweets, or food from India China,Jappan or Africa you will be super happy as there you will find a lot of things. Make sure you dont come with a full suitcase,as probably you will want space for the things you can buy.

The fact that there are no curtains at beds( this could easily be solved with hooks and a material). If you have a big suitcase, until level 4 are few stairs ( but this is how the building is, so nothing to do with staff. As well you can take it as a few min of GYM). If you don't need to carry the suitcase up, the staff will be more than happy to help you to keep it down.(As I did, said nice staff).

Everything was nice, staff let us leave stuff because check in starts only at 16:00, they have bar in first floor, but if u r living in hostel you are allowed drink your own drinks in bar, so that was very nice 💜 For me bed was good I slept well, for my bf a bit too small, in hostel u can rent towels for few euros.

That check in is only at 16:00 and super dark room. Space is not big and dark walls all time looked that we missing light, so If hostel want mach vibe like downstairs could paint walls lighter green like is painted bar walls I think it will look way better and more cozy and more light. But overall is everything was good, nice stay 💜

It's my third time staying here, I love this place. Location is good to explore Lyon, and close to the train stations to arrive and leave the city. The area is safe for solo travellers. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. The bar is a great place to spend some time or get some work done if you need to. Overall, it is a great place to stay.

This time my room was on the 3rd floor with no elevator, a bit tricky if you travel with big luggage. Also, it would have been nice to have AC in the rooms, although there are plenty of fans that help to deal with the summer heat. I would have also loved to have the possibility to have dinner at the bar and that it remains open until later. Beds could be updated or at least have some curtains for more privacy.

The Staff is Amazing! Everyone was so welcoming and helpful:) we arrived late on Bastille Day shortly before the fireworks( we were just driving back to Germany from Barcelona and had no idea there would be no parking in the entire city) but the staff even the Bartender gave us good ideas & eventually we got to park right across the street once people left the fireworks show. Breakfast was amazing and filling, drinks ( local Verbana Liquor) in the evening were great and provided fans and opening windows made for comfortable sleeping even in July heat

There is a little maintenance needed in the shower but nothing outside the norm in a hostel in constant use. We didn’t walk far since we were just pausing on a longer trip, but I can see how some people say walk to center is too far ( and for 2 women that might not be preferred at night) but the distance isn’t bad by day if your enjoying the walk along the way

Private quiet room in a hostel situated in a lively neighborhood in the center of Lyon, walking distance to all services, restaurants, bicycle stations. Beds and pillows are super comfy, we doozed off after 5 mins, never slept this well in a hostel before. Staffs are friendly and smiley. We had a nice stay and would recommend to other travellers.

check in from 16:00 seems a bit late, would be nice to be able to check in from 12:00-14:00 like most other facilities

It was amazing how helpful and friendly the staff was. I was really impressed by the efforts they made to ensure that I had everything I needed to make my stay comfortable. The location is good, I arrived at Lyon Perrache bus station, and it took me about 25-30 mins to walk to the hotel. The room was clean, and affordable for a short stay. There is a cafe on the ground floor, which is quite cozy. Also there are a lot of restaurants within a few hundred meters.

The lighting in the rooms was not so good. The shower area was also a little small.

The bedsheets where very soft and good quality, and the locker space you get to store your personal belongings is really big, i could fit my entire carry on, a backpack and a tote bag with no problem, they do make a loud noise when you open them, but its not a big deal, while the rooms are small, i didn’t find a problem with it since everyone was mindful and respectful

The place was good but It needs more than 1 toilet per floor. And if your room is on the upper levels, prepare to carry your suitcase trough the stairs. Elevators are not very common in here

Behaviour of staff was excellent and very helpful and dependable. Miriam was my person of contact during checkin and I had a wonderful experience with her as the host. Very reasonably priced breakfast. Great. Clean beds. Bathroom was a little dirty, but I hope that'll get better. The common area has a cool and homely vibe.

Just the common bathrooms, were common for too many people, which is why I guess it was not as clean. But otherwise everything else was absolutely fantastic!!

The position is good for visiting the city, at walkable distance. Tube station is 5 minutes walking. Bus and tram stations are also available. The breakfast is "essential" but of good level (European style). The common area at the entrance is confortable

The moquette is ruined by the use of chemicals during the pandemic era. Should be changed. Also walls need some renovation (unless it is a choice of the manager) The block where the hotel is situated gives a touch of insecurity, at night in particular

It was super clean. The location was close to the city center. Every bed had their own lockers and power outlets. They had luggage storage and key card access for the hostel area and each room. Basically it had almost everything I can ask for in a hostel.

The bathrooms are not private (but at least you know this before booking, so it's not a deal-breaker). And despite its proximity to the city center, the area of the hostel didn't feel very safe during nighttime.
