We stayed here for 6 nights in July. The hotel is lovely, and the location is great, beside the Nice-Ville train station and Gare Thiers tram stop. It is also only a short walk to Jean Médecin which has both tram lines. It is very easy to get to anywhere in Nice, and beyond, from this hotel. We bought a 7-day pass at one of the tram-stop machines which covered all our trams and busses for the week. The hotel has homemade lemonade in the lobby and complimentary water in our room on arrival. The hotel serves a buffet breakfast and there are also lots of food places within a 2–3-minute walk. The air conditioning in our room was much appreciated. The shower worked well for two showers a day, although there was a smell from the tap in the sink when it was turned on – not nice when brushing your teeth. There was a full-length mirror in the room and a big mirror in the bathroom. There were lots of different lighting options in the room too, and a Nespresso machine. The room had everything we needed – a mini fridge, hairdryer, toiletries, towels, pillows and plugs, etc. The safe did not work – the lock combination was already set. The room was cleaned daily. There was a modern tv, although it did not have the correct remote control so options on it were limited. We could plug our memory stick into the tv but could not get it to show up on the screen. The staff are very friendly and there was a lovely blackboard at the bottom of the stairs which was updated with sweet messages daily – it made me smile every morning. The room was very comfortable and clean, the perfect size for two people. When we checked out, we were offered complimentary water for our journey to the airport. Highly recommend, would definitely stay again.

We chose this hotel due its close location to the central station. It made our daily trips very easy. However, as with any hotel close to central train station, this hotel also had some "safety" issues regarding the crowd around of it. It didn't feel safe when we arrived to hotel late in the night. The gate is locked and there is a guard in the hotel, so the hotel does everything to make their guests feel safe but the drink and drugged crowd outside is something to be aware of. As long as you are alerted about this, I think it's manageable. At least it was for us for 2 nights. The rooms are tiny but we managed to fit in with 2 suitcases. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, so I cannot comment on that. The staff is very helpful and friendly. It takes 20 min to walk down to the sea side and if you would travel by the train during your stay, I would advise this hotel.

The drunk and drugged people outside the hotel. This is not something hotel can control, so they do everything to keep you feel safe. But if this is a concern for you, you may want to stay at a hotel which is more central and not near shady streets of the city.

Great! I was upgraded from a single room to a superior room by Sofiene, the receptionist & he added a wonderful breakfast for a good price. The rest of the staff are very friendly and very accommodating. It was like a family owned restaurant. It was perfect for me as a solo traveller.

It is near the train station and unfortunately any area in Europe near the train station is not the greatest but for me it’s fantastic because I like to take the trains. There are also no nice restaurants nearby. Mainly fast food. The alarm went off at midnight and i didn’t find out why.

Great location and very friendly staff! Clean and tidy room, good standards in overall the whole hotel. Loved the balcony, although it was a bit scary on the 5th floor, but I enjoyed drinking my morning coffee there. Air conditioning was a great feature to have in the room.

It's a bit of a small space between bed and bathroom. The bed was decent size, though. The lift might need upgrading as it was making scary noises when we were taking it a few times. The street at night might be a bit loud as there was every night group of men gathering on the street on opposite side and being loud and listening to music till early hours of the morning. Apart from that all good, I would definitely go back and stay in this hotel.

Location was very convenient as it was in a walking distance to the old town. The breakfast was veeery nice with good selection of food and tea. Bonus points for the orange juicer! Extra bonus points for the breakfast staff, he was very friendly. Reception has a nice design too. We also appreciate access to tea and coffee machine outside the breakfast time.

When comparing the quality of room with the breakfast, the room was worse. The shower is so small I struggled to turn in it. I recommend staff to clean the walls because there were quite a few blood marks after mosquitos.

Breakfast was amazing. More than what i expect for a european breakfast. Fresh orange juice, bowls, freshly baked bagets, creps. It was great! Even shared toilet in the reception was always so clean. It is very nice hotel. Very close to terminal station, staff was so helpful they kept our luggages when we arrived and in our last day too.

I feel like there was some smell in the carpets in the room. But i must say that rooms are so clean. Noise isolation was not that good, it s a bit noisy street on saturday nights like all other places near to train stations. I suppose walls are so tick u can hear your neighbour is snoring. But i slept well with comfy beds also was so tired all day walking in amazing city, Nice, so I dont want to complain about it :)

To begin with our room was tiny so much so I asked for a bigger room and thankfully we were offered a triple which was a good size. Bed and pillows were really comfy. Couldn’t fault the hotel for cleanliness, our room was made up every day with fresh towels The hotel staff are really friendly and helpful The breakfast was good with a varied choice The location was perfect, literally 5 minutes to Nice Ville station And about a 10/15 walk to the promenade. I would definitely stay here again

The rooms could do with a upgrade

Nice breakfast room and good breakfast. I enjoyed it. The hotel was near the train station which is great if you intend to do day trips. The hotel was cleaned daily to a high standard. There was always someone manning reception. All staff were friendly. Nice clintele there.

The room was clean but needed upgrade. Bedding was all white looked clinical no warmth. No bedside table in my room which I found difficult. Shower was fiddly not the best sqirted all over the place but was hot. Room was cleaned daily and was spotless. It just lacked that touch of comfort and warmth. Needed re-decorating.

- We had a triple room (for a family of 2+1kid) and it was perfect for us, huge double bed and an extra one. - Staff super friendly - Good breakfast

- bathroom very small and not so modern, but in the end it's not a big issue
