Very good location, metro walking distance , plenty of cafes restaurants bakeries etc .. Hotel, room very clean . There is everything you need . Beds are very comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The size of the room, very small so no much space to put luggage . Our room was on the street and Parisians go out every night ! It gets very noisy until very late but there is double glaze windows and hotel provide earplugs 😊. And also breakfast could be improved by serving fresh bread considering the hotel is located in a very busy shopping area with plenty of bakeries !

We loved the area,very alive with lots of restaurants and bars around and the metro station (chateau d’eau) very close around 200m. Also another metro line is near (Strasbourg St.Dennis) so it’s easy to get around the city. Staff were friendly,check in was fast. The room is small as all the rooms in Paris but has everything you need. Big tv,free WiFi ,very comfortable beds,everyday free coffee with machine in the room. Bathroom was big ! The room had the right temperature . We recommend this hotel for a perfect stay in Paris in a good price.

Great stay, lovely clean room with everything we could need for our Paris trip (including banana sweets!). Helpful staff and good atmosphere. It is also located in a fantastic area. It's close enough to walk to gard de nord with luggage (which the hotel will hold for you before and after check out times) and just step outside the door were buzzy bars and restaurants (though never overly noisy). We had never been to Paris before and this neighbourhood turned out to be our favourite by far.

The only downside was the room size and lighting. It was fairly small, but we expected this from the description and from the excellent price in walking distance of the centre of Paris. Lights were an issue. They either needed to all be on or all off, which was a bit of a pain when trying to read at night.

The hotel was around 5 mins away from gare du nord via metro line 4.The hotel was a 4 min walk from the metro exit.Overall the hotel was in a good neighbourhood with parisian restaurants very close.The hotel staff were the best and really made me and my family felt welcome.The rooms were equipped with nespresso machines, bath robes, slippers, body oil and toiletries, really made us feel like it was a 5 star hotel.The beds were comfortable,and earplugs were provided cause the restaurants and clubs were busy at night but the noise did not affect our stay.Overall a 5 star experience in Paris and would definitely rebook this hotel.Thank you to the hotel for having us

The staff is very nice and helpful. Every detail is well-thought and there are a lot of nice ideas, like the filtered water to bring to the room and the bonbon bar :) We had everything we asked for, and more. The location is great, with a lot of nice bars, restaurants and shops, and we felt very safe despite the short walking distance from the train station. The room was very comfortable and we had a great night of sleep. It was quiet because the window was on the inside courtyard.

I reckon some rooms could be noisy due to a crowded bar being right next to the hotel, but it was not our case because we asked for a quiet room. Still, the walls are quite thin so we could hear the other guests talking in the middle of the night. There were complimentary earplugs so it was ok.

5-10 minute walk from the nearest train station, plenty of food and drink options nearby. The hotel has a vintage/retro theme to it, which I really liked. The staff at the hotel were really helpful and kind! The room itself is cosy, and the window view faces into the internal courtyard. There's both a lift and staircase available to use. I didn't try their breakfast, but it looked like a lovely set up too. You can get still or sparkling water at the ground floor and bring it up with you.

Location, location, location. It is a good price to quality ratio. Staff were helpful. Rooms were cleaned every day, and hygiene was on a high level.

It is definitely not 4 star hotel experience. You can see that rooms and hotel itself are a bit outdated and it needs a general renovation. We had to switch the room because the bathroom sliding door had completely stuck, but the staff were quick to react. Rooms are very small, and with the baggage, 2 people in the room cannot pass each other.

The rooms were small, but that is my experience of Paris hotels in general. The beds were comfy, the showers were great, the lights had a mind of their own, but you could eventually work out a way to turn them off and on as desired. The location was superb, there are some lovely bars right next door, and some great places to eat in the streets around the hotel. There is a lovely big gate (Porte Saint-Denis) to help you navigate your way around the surrounding streets, which is also beside the useful metro which takes you to the Eiffel Tower/Louvre etc. The staff were great, and organised a taxi to the station for us to continue our travels on to Venice.

The breakfast is not really worth the money, as there are some bakeries and supermarkets beside the hotel, in which you could buy something more substantial. But I’m from a land where an Ulster fry is a great way to start a day, not a portion of cold meats/cheese and bread. There is also a weird law in place that prevents you from buying spirits after 6pm in the supermarkets in that district, in case you feel the need to have a wee gin in your room.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Lovely breakfast served with a smile. Our room was small but had everything we needed. Beds were super comfy. Lovely big rainforest shower. We had a kettle and coffee machine too. Good location within walking distance of Gare du Nord and located close to numerous cafes and restaurants.

We could hear the occupants from the room next door so a bit of noise through the thin walls.

I had an amazing stay at the Hotel Aulivia Opera. The location cannot be better, easy to get everywhere on public transports, including airports, or just simply walking. The walk along the hotel street towards Opera is simply fabulous. Le Marais and Centre Pompidou are also nice and easy to walk to. The staff are friendly and helpful and fluent in English. The rooms are clean, comfortable and decent size and the hotel amenities just great. Complimentary coffee and water always available. Excellent breakfast too. Definitely my favorite stay in Paris now.
