As a frequent Paris business traveller with an expenses account, I have stayed in a wide range of hotels, including the most luxurious ones (also in the famous one on the Place Vendome which I will not name). However, when booking for private visits and out of my own pocket, I am always choosing Hotel Mansart. The value for money is unbeatable - the Place Vendome location, the chic ambience of the ample hotel rooms with high ceilings and fireplaces, the art on the walls, the classy historical touch, the absolutely wonderful staff, the cosy and tasty breakfast. When in Paris, I don't really care for 5* amenities (I don't go to Paris to swim in a pool or to go to a spa, and I don't usually eat in hotel restaurants - there's plenty of wonderful non-hotel ones), so I don't want to pay for them as the add-ons when staying in the hotel. Therefore I really prefer Hotel Mansart - especially the beautiful rooms with the views of the Place Vendome (do splash out for one of them, it will make your stay unforgettable)- to be honest, I like this hotel better than the world famous one round the corner.

recently stayed at this fantastic hotel to celebrate my birthday, and I must say it was an absolutely amazing experience.The hotel staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. Upon arrival, we were surprised with a complimentary room upgrade and delicious chocolates waiting for us in the room—a touch that truly made a difference. The reception staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring that everything went smoothly and making us feel warmly welcomed. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, designed in a cozy Parisian style. The highlight was the breathtaking view from our balcony overlooking Place Vendôme—a view that made our stay truly magical. This hotel not only exceeded our expectations but also created unforgettable memories. We can’t wait to return for another stay and will definitely choose this hotel again the next time we’re in Paris. Highly recommended!

This place is all about location location location, and it’s right where you need to be in Paris, but it also has an old world Parisian charm that makes it feel like stepping into another dimension! Charming, clean, cutsie and comfy.

Everything was really lovely. Old world charm can come with its downs and in this case the lift wasn’t working. But actually the spiral staircase was beautiful and the staff helpful about hauling things up and down. Plus got some extra steps in! Only minor down side was that the doors are not fully sound proofed.

The location of the hotel is excellent .. quiet enough when needed but yet close to a lot of landmarks, shops and restaurants .. pretty walking as well.

The overall look of the hotel is beautiful.. especially superior breakfast room .. but in a few places ( in our room * superior with terrace * .. there could be a small improvement done with a bit of paint .. and there were a few cracks in the tile ( minor) in the bathroom. The carpet was fine but was showing a a wee bit of wear.. Overall however the room was good .

The hotel has very different rooms, the best ones are the Executive Vendome Rooms overlooking Place Vendome

Hotel is ideally positioned, down one of the busiest shopping districts, bed is comfy, big bathrooms, staff are always helpful and pleasant and price is extremely good value for money considering the location. Best of all, if you fancy a drink, there is a trendy bar next door and a pretty good pub across the road which stay open late.

Soundproofing has been mentioned as not great and can be confirmed, mainly through the doors into the hallway (can hear people talking) also the fact that the building only has one lift doesn't help especially after shopping trips. Safe could do with being a bit bigger to hold any valuables you happen to purchase during your stay.

The location of the hotel is great. The staff of the hotel definitely tried to be friendly and helpful, although I tried to move my stay due to getting sick, and that wasn't possible. I got a free upgrade to a better room, which was nice.

Facilities in the hotel are not in the great shape. Guys in the reception seat of the chair with a hole in it. Sofas in the reception are also quite deformed etc.

Breakfast was solid. Easy to get in and out. Right near excellent restaurants. Easy to reach the Seine. Just a super obvious, solid choice for tourists like my wife and me. Barely needed to use the Metro (everything was walkable for us) but when we did it was convenient.

Eh, old building? But also it’s Paris. Some of the floors are a little uneven but who cares - it’s an old building in an older city.

The hotel was very centrally located within walking distance of many shops and restaurants, as well as the metro stations. I had a quiet room facing the courtyard and was able to sleep well.

I travelled by train to London on a Sunday and the city streets were closed due to a marathon. The only way to get to my train was to carry my bags through the metro system.

The staff was very accomadating. The room was very nice and cleaned every day. The location is walking distance to the Siene River. They gave recommendations on where to eat and what to see. They even called cabs for us to get there.

Late checking time, but our room was ready at 12:00.
