This is a great hotel for its rating (2 star). The location is brilliant, overlooking a square that has lots of excellent restaurants, but in itself it’s very good too. Our room was very clean, and was simply appointed but had everything we needed, such as kettle for tea/coffee, fan, and hairdryer. The breakfast is excellent value at €11, the staff were very polite and attentive (the reception is manned 24 hours a day), and the bed was very comfortable.

The only small downside was the noise from the square late at night if anyone is there (but often there was no one). We stayed in July, when it was hot and we needed the window open, but at a cooler time of year, this wouldn’t be an issue. But it didn’t disturb us much or in any way spoil our stay.

Super clean , the bed was comfortable and loved that the windows opened for a nice breeze . Plenty of hot water and the staff is amazing . Perfect location( Le Marais is my favorite area in Paris ) with nice cafes, and the metro close by . I would definitely stay again

I liked everything but wanted to point out certain things . I am a solo traveler, the rooms are nice but I wouldn’t want to stay with another person because the rooms are small. No elevator and I had to carry my luggage to the 4th floor but Ive stayed in other hotels/airbnbs where I did the same so I didn’t mind it. You have to leave your key when you leave but I like doing so because I didn’t have to worry about loosing the key . Things to consider before booking it .

The location is excellent-on the wonderful Marché St Catherine with bars and lovely restaurants, and one block away from Rue de Rivoli with even more .It is in the heart of the Marais with fibey boutiques and restaurants,and many places with historical significance like The Pl Vosges and Hotel Sully.Also near to the Seine and the IL. St Louis, The staff are all exceptionally helpful and friendly.The rooms are not big( as can be expected in Parisi),but it is very well and beautifully designed and have everything you need.

Amazing location, perfectly appointed room, reception desk staffed 24/7, perfectly cleaned when sign placed on door, cannot fault anything, which is especially appreciated considering this is Paris and the price point is unbeatable. We had a gorgeous room on the top floor which was a lot of climbing, but the views over place saint catherine were absolutely worth it. Really close to Notre Dame and the ile de la cite, as well as the hotel de ville and the number 1 metro is right on the doorstep. If you are looking for an affordable Parisian base of operations, this is the place to go!

Can’t fault a single thing.

Perfect location, very nice, cosy and clean. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Small room but was more than enough for one person, very clean and comfortable bathroom. Delicious restaurants just across the street, 5 min walk to the metro station.

The only discomfort was that the hotel has no elevator, and climbing up the steep stairs to 5th floor 3-4 times a day after long walks in Paris is a bit exhausting. Lifehack : If you do not count the floors it feels much easier :)))

The Pratic hotel came to the rescue when our Airbnb booking fell through. We would have taken anywhere, but we found a little gem. The hotel is tucked away in a side street in the St Paul area, overlooking a lovely square. The rooms are small but have everything you'd need, totally clean, the staff were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. The location is superb and we loved the cafe and bistro culture that's all around this part of Paris. A little hidden treat, we'll be back to the Pratic for sure, and you should book it too, you won't regret it.

It was an amazing trip! The hotel room was small but very cozy :) There was no place to eat like a table but It wasn’t a problem for me I loved that it wasn’t loud even though it is in the city centre Also important to know that there’s no elevator there but the staff was very kind and offered me to help with my luggage so not a problem 😌 It was tidy, cozy, comfortable I enjoyed my experience and can recommend 🧡

The location of this hotel is fantastic - right in the heart of the Marais but in a quiet backstreet which means that there are a huge number of attractions easily accessible on foot. One day we didn't even use the Visite Paris metro ticket we had bought. But it is a stone's throw from St Paul Metro for trips further afield. The room had been recently decorated, was spotlessly clean and had the best shower I have experienced in this price category. Friendly staff.

Our room was on Floor 3 and there is no lift. Not a problem for us, but something to bear in mind if you have mobility issues. The room was a compact size - but that was more than compensated for by the amazing location.

It was in an excellent location in the Marais neighborhood, very walkable to the river and many of the top tourist sites and great shopping for all budgets. It was steps from the Le Marche restaurant, with about ten indoor tables where the wonderful food and wine and cozy hospitality are all top notch. We LOVED our stay in Paris.

Our room was VERY tiny. There was no functions sitting area other than the bed, which took up all of the room except a very narrow hallway with shower/sink/toilet/small closet along one side. That said, we grew used to the tight quarters over several days. I would not share this accommodation with anyone but a spouse or life partner. A bit TOO intimate.

It the 3/4th arrondissement this was our budget for the stay. The rooms are tight but they are all you need ensuite room with good pressure shower and plenty of light. The bed was ok a bit noisy but good sheets. The location for me was great, just a few steps aways from a square with cafés and restaurants and just off the main drag and a 3 minute walk from the saint Paul metro station. We were able to leave our bags before and after check in/out so we didn't have our backpacks to lug around. The staff are nice, bit odd for me that we have to leave our room key with reception when we are going out for the day but the staff are nice so no issues really. On a 2 night stay I didn't expect the bed to be made, fresh towels and toiletries after my first night but they did. I'm more used to apartment lets that hotel rooms In our stay of January the room was nicely heated but there isn't any in the ensuite bathroom

The TV isn't that big but watchable there are only french speaking or dubbed channels/programs so a newer smart TV to access netflix ect would be a great upgrade to the room. The finish of the bathroom is great but there is no heating in the ensuite so was very cold in there in January There is a spiral wide step staircase up the floors we were on the third floor so not too much on issue but maybe some elder travellers would find the stairs and their shape an issue. The exterior of the hotel lets it down it's much nicer inside.
