Well appointed hotel in attractive grounds with great facilities for sport and recreation. Rooms, drinks and food all good with an excellent choice for breakfast and, for this type of hotel, reasonably priced. Restaurant and bar staff excellent. The surrounding area with its lakes and small villages is very picturesque. I had a couple of really enjoyable bike rides in the immediate area with segregated bike paths and quiet roads round the lakes. Troyes (very old & beautiful town) only 20 minutes away. We would happily stay there again.

We were kept waiting for our room and the reception staff were rather dismissive.

Nice country location, secure parking and very pleasant surroundings. Bar and outside restaurant area was good. Room nicely laid out.

The air condition controller was set to heat, not cool. Every time I changed temperature, it switched off. Had to call reception to get them to reset. Due to language issues, they didn't understand that the controller was at fault. Bar - Give us a choice of beer below 6.7% ! Breakfast - Hmmmmmm. Continental section was fine, coffee and juices excellent. The hots weren't. Bacon was an agglomerated mass, the scrambled eggs were cold, and who wants chicken sausages ? Finally, on check out, I requested an invoice for my expenses. They said they would email. It took 2 chase up messages to finally get an invoice, 24 hours later.

Great location and golf course. Nice hotel and amenities. Great restaurant menu and service.

Room cleaning could be done better and Check-in at 16 while check-out at 11 looks a bit of a stretch. Reception staff forgot to include 10 euro in our check-out bill and they called 4 times to recover the money. As the expense should have been charged to the room, if this was not done is not the customer fault and recovering 10 euro while client is driving his way home could be done with more elegance.

Parking good, Reception very helpful. Room was a good size, and bed was very comfortable. Good sized bathroom. Separate loo. Door between bedroom and other facilities was helpful in keeping sounds between the two areas to a minimum. Having a fridge in the room was useful. Food and service in the restaurant was good We enjoyed playing on the pool table!

The heating controls remain a complete mystery! The control in the bathroom appeared to have no influence whatsoever on the towel heater! The control in the bedroom did seem to be connected to the heating system, but it was difficult to work out exactly how to get it to bring about a comfortable temperature, and we could not get the wall-mounted fan to turn off at night (which did not help my sleep pattern).

A friend and I booked a family room which was split across two levels, with a large double bed upstairs and two single beds downstairs. We were very pleased with the value, much cheaper than buying two rooms at, say, a Premier Inn. The hotel was nicely decorated and clean, beds were comfortable and the bathrooms pleasant to use. Each level in our room had its own large flat-screen tv, the downstairs area also had chairs and a desk. When we checked in, we were informed that we had free use of the pool and the sauna. You don't get that at a Premier Inn! Unfortunately, we arrived too late to avail ourselves of that offer. Next time we will arrive earlier. The restaurant was absolutely exceptional. My friend and I both consider ourselves to be "foodies", we have eaten at many fine dining restaurants and the food here would not have been out of place in any of them. Simple recipes, cooked beautifully, with respect for the ingredients. The restaurant prices were excellent value. Make sure you try the langres cheeseI have eaten in places where the food was twice the price and half as good. My compliments to the chef! Breakfast was a buffet type-of-affair, but one with great quality and a fairly wide variety of foods to choose from. Really, very nice indeed. We didn't use the golf course, but my friend has plans to return with his golfing buddies, so happy was he with our experience at the hotel. This is the second time I have stayed at the here, it is located not far off the A5, in a perfect location to make a comfortable, overnight stop when driving from the UK to the South of France for a skiing trip.

Nothing. I have absolutely no criticism to make. Ok, well, one small one; my friend snored like a demented buzz-saw, and kept me awake most of the night, but I don't suppose I can blame the hotel for that!

Nice hotel for a stop over. Sadly no time to enjoy the property or golf course or spa! Surrounding forest looks lovely. Family rooms was nice - not overly fancy but clean and spacious. Restaurant was good and breakfast offer extensive and much enjoyed! Car charging was a + although system of billing a bit convoluted.

Wanted to use golf range and staff seemed quite confused as to how to issue a code. Strange given it is a golf hotel/course. Admittedly it was the night staff early in the morning so maybe they are not used to it.

- great location - staff was very nice - large room with bathroom and restroom separate - we tried the gold and it was really nice and good price - swimming pool and jacuzzi not very big but good enough i was a bit sceptical after reading some of the comments but overall was happy with the hotel and the room booked. just a few points to improve that I have put below.

- loooooots of mosquitoes in the room, bathroom and restroom. had to search for them all before going to sleep! - behind the transparent curtains, couple of alive and dead fly - the restroom had a really bad smell. had to ask a cleaner for a spray to remove the smell

Great location on the edge of the forest. Pleasant welcome, large clean room and nice firm bed. Good facilities, pool, golf and so on.nice bar and dining area and good, if pricey, breakfast.

Generally a very pleasant stay, some questionable art around the place, some tired decoration and an updated shower would be good. Dinner menu wasn't overwhelming but service good and the kitchen dealt with a uncooked fish dish well. Some rogue flies around in February, am sure they are gone by the season!

Nice modern comfortable bar restsurant and public areas. The spa looked good albeit did not use House champagne first rate.

Restaurant. Breakfast good but dinner was mixed. The house burger was poor, the maki were dull but the gravlax and the special were good. Very limited menu, so disappointing It's in the back of beyond....fine gor a golf/Spa stay but not as a stop off night on route south. 10 minutes off autoroute South and 15 minutes plus to go to next junction in the morning.

Great place to stop en route to Channel Tunnel. Golf course. Good value for money.

We hired clubs but they were of a poor standard. It was not at all enjoyable playing with them. The golf course wasn’t in perfect condition. No vending machine to buy snacks prior to playing golf. We were hungry when we arrived around 2pm and we couldn’t buy any food except crisps.
