The breakfast had a nice variety of food & we enjoyed the cappuccino/espresso machine. Five of our seven rooms were beautiful & large. Some had balconies, others had claw foot tubs. The walk to town took about 30 minutes & was very scenic. We also had a dinner one of the evenings & it was fantastic. The beds were very comfortable & the shower pressure was good & hot!

The breakfast was great except for the scrambled eggs, they were very soupy & the bacon was undercooked. We were not told that two of our rooms were on the 3rd floor & were more like attic rooms with sloped ceilings with a step down into a tiny bathroom. I would suggest more water available for the guests in the public area, It was mostly empty when needed.

We stayed in the modern part of the hotel. The staff were excellent, even helping with our halting French. The room was big, clean and well appointed. Belmont Chateaux is well placed for visiting Tours as the tram station is an easy walk away, but we did the 15/20 minute walk into the town without problem.

The spa facilities could have been larger, which may be problem if it's busy, and they'd forgotten to put robes in our room. None of which caused any issues for us.

The room was more like a suite and very comfortable and stylishly decorated - it felt like a really premium experience. The grounds are stunning and well worth a walk around. The restaurant was nice - the food was good on the whole adn parking is plentiful and very convenient. The location was perfect for us as we were stopping over on a long drive further south but it feels a bit far away from the centre of Tours if you are planning on spending some time there

The food in the restaurant was good but felt a little pricey - also we were given a table outside in direct sunlight and despite the restaurant terrace being empty, when I asked to move into the shade, I was told that we could not move as the other tables were reserved - there were no other diners came into the restaurant in all the time we were in there so this felt a little lazy - like it was too much hassle to move us - it rather spoilt the enjoyment of the meal

Belmont is a lovely hotel on a large estate. Lots of garden spaces for enjoying the weather and outdoors. Rooms are nicely furnished and larger than a standard box hotel room.

I had dinner with my family 6 persons. Food was very good and of excellent quality. Wines were reasonably priced and local. My only gripe is that service took a long time. We had 3 courses and waited an hour between each course. Restaurant was not too busy and some courses were cold courses: cold meats, ice cream, cheese. After a long drive a 3 hour meal starting at 2000 is not conducive to a happy guest.

Good breakfast with cheeses, smoked salmon and more. Our room was upgraded to a spacious one and was clean and faced the beautiful garden. The bathroom was huge.The atmosphere was calm and pleasant and the staff was kind.

The location was far from the center, but we used our car. Another thing: the word chateau is misleading. Although the main building is in an old style, it is adjacent to buildings in a contemporary style so it is difficult to notice its uniqueness. The interior design is also completely modern. So don't expect to stay in a castle. You should know that the outdoor space is shared with retirement residences.

The room was very spacious and comfortable, pool, gym and garden very nice. Maid service every day was excellent. Reception staff were very good and helpful.

Service for drinks and in the restaurant was a bit slow. It was a little out of the way for the centre of Tours, but great tram service not far away was great. It would be good to have larger cups for hot drinks in the room and have black tea and milk available.

Beautiful big bedroom, well decorated and very clean. Super confortable bed and linens. The bedroom has all the necessary amenities you might need during a stay. We had a little balcony so we could enjoy a lovely view in the morning. The Chateau is in a beautiful location with a very nice garden. The staff people are very nice and helpful. We can easily walk to town and enjoy the area with beautiful house and parks around. There is an underground parking so you can park your car easily which is very convenient.

The breakfast was a bit expensive for what it offered. Would have like some fresh milk and cacao, not from a machine, as well as some fresh fruit juice that you can mix yourself. Lack of choices for a buffet although the mini croissant and pain au chocolat was good.

Breakfast was good and enough, quite location, beautiful garden, 20min straight walk to the city centre. It has spa, but we didn't test it. Music box in the room. Coffeemashine, 2 coffee capsules, but no coffeecream.

We booked Double room in Cheateau, It's written on the website of the hotel as well booking.com that it's 22sq.m. I must say that it was extremely small. 1 small windows in the corner, very small bathroom ( shower+wc together) 1,5-2sq.m. Mattress was comfortable, but the pillows were too big and absolutely not comfortable to sleep on.

Everything. We even contemplated staying longer (we were driving through France), just to spend more time at the hotel. Amazing room and facilities, fantastic room service breakfast, lovely staff. The place was very clean, the room was huge, the bathroom was lovely. I really couldn't complain.

Nothing. The only thing that annoyed me, wasn't even the hotel's fault - but, still something they could consider. They had a water dispenser in the lobby with paper cups to help yourself - however, I was put off as a mother let her children cough over them all, it was gross and I did not want to touch it after seeing that! Perhaps put the cups in their own dispenser rather than piled up next to the machine. Also - please teach your child to cough into their arm or hand!

Most of the rooms were extremely spacious with nice furnishings. The robes and slippers were a nice touch. The soaking tub was a great perk as well. We had a nice meal at the restaurant that was fantastic and the grounds are very pretty. The walk into Tours takes about 30 min and very picturesque.

The desk staff was not very friendly. The water in the lobby was a great touch with the fruit but it was almost always empty. We had to ask for it to be filled a few times.
