Franz was absolutely outstanding in his customer service. He gave me great advice and answered all of my hundreds of questions happily. I arrived late and missed the spa so he ensured that I could go in the next day(although I was only staying one night), as it is only open 2-8pm. I really appreciated that as the spa was part of the reason why I booked this hotel. Thank you Franz for being so helpful! You're a star! I hope your manager recognises you for being so good at your job. Also, the hotel is stunningly beautiful. The views are impeccable. My balcony had the best view and so did the breakfast room. The breakfast was the best I've ever experienced. They had EVERYTHING! I travel a lot and honestly, just amazing! My room was comfy, lovely and clean, bathroom had a lovely shower and again, the view! Comfy bed. Spa jacuzzi and sauna were so relaxing. I stored my luggage through the day and it was kept safe and I was also given a bus pass to visit the lake. Wonderful thought. Thanks for one of the best stays I've ever had! I will definitely be back and recommending you to everyone I know.✨✨✨

Nothing to do with the hotel, but I'd planned to visit the Eagle's nest but hadn't realised it's seasonal due to avalanche risk, etc. Just a heads up for anyone planning this to check it out first.

The provided breakfast was fantastic with nice opening hours between 7.30am and 10.00am. The spread was plentiful and diverse. The room was just perfect for what I paid. Not small by any means and nice amenitites. I was also offered use of the spa and wellness area however did not have time to see or use this but love the fact that I could have. Finally the location was perfect. Right in the heart of the town it is easy to access anywhere you need to go. I arrived on a motorbike and was greated like any other user. I like that the hotel is slightly off the main road and you can park the bike around the back out of sight of any prying eyes.

The only nitpick I can find is the TV in the room is a little out dated in style and the selection of channels is minimal. It would be nice to have a modern function to link your phone/tablet to it to watch your own stuff. However I was not staying at the hotel to use the TV.

The room was comfortable and clean and the view from the bedroom balcony was incredible Exceeded all expectations! The breakfasts were great! Good selection of food and well prepared! A great start to each day! The evening receptionist at check-in was super friendly and helpful and went out of his way to help us with several requests during our stay. Great example of how a hotel should be run!

The rooms were non-smoking, which was great. But smoking was allowed on the individual balconies of each room so we couldn't keep our doors open to the balcony without getting smoke into our room. I would strongly recommend making both the rooms and the balconies Non-Smoking so that non-smoking guests don't have to deal with second-hand smoke. Two of the three mornings at breakfast we requested a table by the large viewing windows. There were plenty of tables available. But the breakfast staff asked us to take an interior table instead, even though we requested a table by the windows and there were plenty available. We came to see these beautiful mountains so it was disappointing not to be allowed to sit by the windows.

The location of the hotel is between the railway station and the old town, about 7 to 10 minutes' walk to the railway station, and the transportation is very convenient. I booked a double room. The room is big and has a balcony with a beautiful view of the mountains in the distance. The breakfast was excellent, with a great selection of meats and cheeses, fruit, breads, and eggs. There are also Bavarian specialties such as white sausage and leiberkess. Luggage storage is also provided for easy access. The customer service lady introduced the hotel facilities very kindly and considerately and also provided a local bus transportation card. Thank you very much. This hotel definitely exceeded my expectations and is highly recommended!

 The sauna and whirlpool were very nice. Franz was very friendly and helpful at check in, showing us around and assisting us with our bags. He spoke very good English, making the experience so much more relaxed. He also left us a beer and small bottle of champagne in our room for a night cap for after returning from dinner, since they closed up the reception area at 9:00pm.

parking was temporarily not available and we had to park at another adjacent property. But they were in the process of expanding the facilities parking capacity, therefore this will no longer be an issue much longer.

The staff were very friendly and helpful gave us some excellent information on places to visit, particularly the Rosfeldpanoramastraße which we would never had thought of. Only a short walk in to the town where there plenty of places to eat. Breakfast was very good lots to choose from. Unfortunately we were there when they were starting work on the new swimming pool but my husband enjoyed watching the men at work and it was not a problem. We hope to return when the swimming pool is finished as this can only add to this excellent hotel.

location is amazing. in the heart of the city, everything is walkable. bars shops restaurants. breakfast is included and they had a great spread. views from the breakfast room were million dollar - wazman mountains right in from of you as you are eating / drinking coffee or whatever. cozy hotel.

there is no AC but I asked the manager if they had a fan and he went above and beyond and provided me with a fan! we opened a window and with fan, we have no problems, it was there during hot day in June. and I had no problems, we were comfortable at night.

Beautiful location and friendly staff. We arrived late and the front desk gentleman was there to show us where to park and showed us our room. We are so grateful after many hours of driving he was still there to greet us. The breakfast buffet was awesome. Great fresh food. I would recommend this hotel. The location was perfect to everything and beautiful views. Aloha!

Liked everything. Can’t wait for the pool to finish construction. Only thing is the neighbor smoking and the smoke came in our hotel room.

Excellent location as walking distance to town & even Salt mine. Staff all amazing & super helpful. Breakfast was incredible, & so much on offer. We had a family room which had a separate bedroom for kids (2 single beds) & we had main room with balcony.

No air conditioning or fan, so very hot at night. We even opened our balcony door all day & night, but with little wind, it didn't do much. A fan would have been wonderful. Shower didn't have a curtain, so was a small mission not to spread water all over the floor.

The room is comfy, it is not a luxury kind type of room but everything is well designed and is just so convenient! The hotel is on a hill facing the mountain, thus the view is amazing. The staff is super helpful and nice. It is also close to the train and bus station.

Late checkin could be a little bit tricky, i suggest to take a taxi after you come out from the train station at mid night. It would also be better if the hotel can print out the photo guide to the late night access. When I arrived, the entrance sight was blocked by a car, thanks to the taxi driver I eventually found it. Also for foreigner guests, the wifi passcode is on the information book, might take some time to find it.
