As this is a Korean style hotel, it is very sparse but very well-maintained and basic. If you were looking for a hotel with a family, feel that you can feel commitment to the customer, This is the place to go. Location is not terribly far from Central train station and is easy walking distance to a number of things and public transport. If you are adventurous, I recommend you pay a small additional fee and ask for the Korean breakfast. The Bibimbop is made in a house by the owner’s wife who doesn’t excellent job and the meal is very filling for only €3 more and it’s a unique experience. As it’s a family run hotel you sort of feel like you’re staying with your parents as the owner is very involved in, always around and watching and willing to help.

Nothing really to complain about. It was a fun experience.

it’s close to the city center. the rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable and we got fresh towels every day. the staff is friendly, helpful and kind.

there are no windows but skylights. it’s a bit strange but after a while you are getting used to it.

The room had a skylight but no windows. The room was very large and and a water closet with a sink plus a separate shower with a sink. The room was cleaned and fresh towels were provided daily. We felt felt secure at the motel because there was an attendant at the front desk during work hours and in the evening access to the building required your room key.

I'm supposed to write two or three sentences here about what I didn't like. The location was great, only about .8-km from the train station. There was a local German Pub 1.5-blocks away. A delicious shawarma shop across the street. No complaints.

Handy location close to the train station and 15 mins walk to the main shopping streets and the Altstadt. Owners are very welcoming, and the room was spotless. There is a large, modern supermarket 5 mins away with several cheap food outlets. I would stay again.

No window in the room but there is a skylight that can be opened to ventilate the room.

Everything! The-originally Korean-couple owning and managing the place (Mr & Ms Min) are extremely kind, we felt like when we were travelling in South Korea. On request they can make Korean breakfast, which was delicious. In the regular continental breakfast they always add 1 Korean item :-) The room was super clean, simple and it had all what we needed. WiFi worked well. We travelled with our 4 y.o. child, who was very happy about the nice toys (Lego & more) and the beautiful books he could play with. The location is also great, close to central station and to various trams and subways to visit the city. Highly recommended for all types of travelers!

I liked everything, from the family that owns the hotel, to the rooms that are always clean. Honestly, I don't think there is anything better then this hotel for this money. I'm a frequent traveler to Dusseldorf and I will ask my company to always book this hotel for my journey.

There isn't one thing I didn't like

The hotel had something that was very appealing. I really liked the interieur and the style of the hotel. It also looked very cozy with the seating areas at the entrance and all the books and games that were there although we did not use it. But most important, the rooms were very clean and the hotel is situated near little tokyo which was the main reason we have booked this hotel. Owners were also very friendly

The obvious pride the owners took in their offered experience and how helpful they were when you came to them with questions. The quality of the food, both the "standard" buffet - which hands down beat any hotel buffet I've had before, but especially their Korean breakfast which was available on request. A surprise to me was how much I liked that our room didn't have a normal window, but a skylight instead. To have fresh air without city noise or a real draft was a pleasure.

The floors are stone and there are no carpets or even a rug next to the bed, so this meant I had very cold feet in the morning. It's a minor thing though. For my next visit, I'll bring my slippers ;).

The kindness of the staff welcoming you at the hotel and their keen eye paying attention ti the detail. In the morning, you can endulge with a tasty fresh omelette for breakfast. In case of bad weather, just relax in the living room playing board games or reading a book. All the main city spots are at short distance on foot and the central station too. And at night, you can choose a restaurant/bar around for dining or drinking.

The employees were very hospitable and friendly. Upon arrival I got a bottle of water and during breakfast, they had the biggest smiles on there face. The room was clean and spacious. Wifi worked and was very fast. Breakfast was very good as well. The food was fresh and there plenty of options to make it a healty and nutritious meal. The hotel was a 7 minute walk from central station and metro stations were nearby.
