The location was pretty close from the train station (5-10 min walking) and basically in straight line. The room was ok, clean, with 2 bathrooms, the beds were comfortable. The cleaning was every day, all personal really polite.

It's not a dislike, but a suggestion, when you change the bed sheets please make sure that you unfold the sheets, because I presume that when in storage, some bug can be in the sheets. The room hasn't A/C, but there are windows enough big to let air cool the environment; again, not a dislike, just an observation.

5 minute walk from station and 15 minutes to old town. The staff were exceptional, helping with information, providing us with a kettle. It’s the little things that count. Bed comfortable and good size room. There was a lift so no need to drag your luggage upstairs.

The internal stairs are noisy when guests go up and down and talk. No problem unless you get guests who talk and bang doors at 2 am! This is not the property’s fault, just inconsiderate guests!

I enjoyed my stay very much. The Japanese quarter of Düsseldorf where the hotel is located, a warm welcome I received from hotel stuff, the furnishing of the hotel and the room, the view into the inner yard from my room's window, and last but no least, breakfasts - I liked all of that. Speaking of the window's view, I get that not everyone might feel the same way, but personally, I found the city view super cozy and full of life. It reminded me of the kind of vibe I miss coming from a big city and now living in a village called Munich. And let me tell you about the location – it's spot on! The Hauptbahnhof and the city center are both within walking distance, which was super convenient. Plus, being right in the middle of the Japanese quarter means there are so many restaurant options. It was a nice change from the usual German food to be able to choose from Indian, Japanese, Chinese, and Vietnamese food. Overall, I really had a great time. If I ever visit Düsseldorf in the future, I'd prefer to stay here again.

Personal were very helpful, especially the lady that checked us in on the Afternoon shift. Clean and quiet. Breakfast looked good but at 17€pp, a little pricey. There are many backeries around there so if you ar looking for something less expensive then you are well served. Will use this hotel again when in Düsseldorf.

Parking was expensive which is not unusual in big cities. Wadyagonnado.

Well located hotel in walking distance from the train station. I walked to all the attractions but there was a tramstop near the hotel. A lot of shops and restaurants nearby. My room was comfortable and clean. The blonde lady receptionist was very helpful. Good value!

I didn't have the breakfast because I thought it was expensive.

Great location, just a 5-minute walk from the train station. The staff was welcoming and extremely helpful, the room was nice with a comfy bed, furniture was a bit outdated, but it did not really matter to me. The bathroom was renovated and really nice, great shower with hot water. No noise from the street or other visitors. To sum it up, I got a good rest here after a busy week.

The internet connection was under par, so I had to use mobile data. If my stay was during the working days, it would be difficult to work from there. Nothing else bothered me.

The room was brilliant and it’s in a great location for bars and restaurants. The staff were also exceptionally welcoming.

The room took longer to get ready than they let us know about it took around 3 hours to prepare when they initially said it would be an hour but no big issues really.

Good breakfast, room spacious although a bit dated.Location not far from train station or main shopping area

Although the coffee machine/hot water was free at anytime in the breakfast room on ground floor it would have been nice to have a kettle in the room especially if you are on the 6th floor

Excellent location, close to the center. Nice clean room, WiFi without problems. I really appreciated the very kind and helpful reception staff.

The breakfast was tasty, but the quality of the breakfast fluctuates - two days there was enough of everything and a varied selection, on the third day something was already missing.

Exrenely warm welcoming, very helpful and atttiveness of the staff, immaculate cleanness and comfort of the room and the hotel in general, and the location of the hotel to the amenities around, and very easy access to the all the locations in the city centre..

As far as I am concerned I can not fault Hotel Batavia in any shape of form. And I can not waite to Stay in Hotel Batavia in my next visit again.
