after reading the reviews I wasn't really sure what to expect but the place exceeded my expectations. Yes it's not a 5 Star hotel, but it's also not represented like this and c'mon for that kind of price you should know what you are getting people 🤷. The stuff was super friendly and even gave me a better room away from the train trucks so it would be quiter for me to sleep. There's a mini bar that is free of charge and it even contains free beer. The room was maybe not the newest design but it's clean and had what I needed for one night to rest and refresh. It's straight at the s-bahn station and it takes just around 5 mins to get there, so it's mega good connected.

Good location, nice and friendly personal staff, also it was a good price to stay here. Even though the room was on the station side, the noise from the windows from trains and cars did not reach the room that much.

Even though I chose this hotel for the fourth time, I have never gotten such a dirty and broken room as this time. The walls in the bathroom were covered in very strange looking brown stains, especially around the toilet and sink. There was a cracked mirror in the hallway, and the wooden panel above the TV was lying on the floor. The room looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a long time( for this reason I gave a lower rating this time.

Location is close to Messe, only issue is main entrance is exatly opposite corner(12 min walk). Value for money is quite good. 5 min walk to S-bahn station. Big shopping center within 5 min of walk. Staff was super friendly, especially Nico. There is coffe machine downstairs, so you can get fresh cofee or tee any time

Cleaning is on request, which is bit unfortunate, if reception works 13-24. So you need to ask to clean your room day in advance. There is no ironing room, but one can borrow iron,which are not returned timely, so better to ask in advance.

Was really good even the location is really nice

My first stay at this hotel was great, but the second visit was disappointing. The receptionist this time, a German man, was extremely rude and unprofessional. When I asked if we could get a better room, even though I had booked a standard one, his response was unnecessarily harsh. Instead of politely declining, he rudely said, 'You booked a cheap room, so what do you expect?' My girlfriend, who is also German, was equally shocked by his attitude. This interaction took place on September 15, 2024, around 9:00 PM

We arrived the hotel around 11am, and our room is already ready to check in, which is very helpful to us, so that we can go on our plan smoothly without going back again to the hotel. The free coffee and water in the reception area is also a bonus point to mention. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

I think only the location is a bit far from the center, around 40-50 minutes walk to Römerberg. Other things are all good, even they are located beside the railways, I didn't hear much noise at night when the trains passing by. A electric kettle in the room would be better.

I liked the location, it’s not far from the subway station, very convenient. The room was neat. The staff was so nice! Very helpful whenever you need. Also, me and my friend had to go to another place before the check out but couldn’t take our baggage with us. We could come back to the hotel only after the check out time so we couldn’t keep the baggage at our room. But, the staff agreed to keep our baggage safely in the hotel until we arrived. We could be completely relaxed. Amazing service.

Because it’s close to the subway path, you can hear it passing. However it’s not too loud.

I have no words to describe what I experienced. Awesome isn't enough. It's the best hotel I ever went to. I don't know if such a quality/price rate is real. I just hope I'll be back again soon.

I can't even say one thing I didn't like. Even the guy activating the fire alarm and waking up the whole place (real entertainment) isn't enough for me to remove points from my review.

Good location, clean. The hotel is quite basic but the price is really good and you could find everything that you would expect from a hotel.

Reception is not opened until 11 am, so for leaving the luggage the last day it wasnt fully comfortable (they offered us to leave it to the person managing the breakfast).

cleaning staff guy woke me up at 8:20 knocking on every room doors to say good morning and only to inform that check out is at 12:00 which I knew. I wanted to have longer sleep. S-Bahn railway just across the street few meters from the window makes impossible to sleep with opened window due to noise.

Amazing! Totally recommend, this hotel is well prepared for pets, you have everything you need. Beds are comfortable, big TV, and the best is the isolation from outside noise. The train is right in front of the room but it is almost imperceptible. We will search for more Dormero in the world
