Its near train station. 15 mins walk to central bus station

No bottle water for guest. Bfast was good specially the meat ball but its the same everyday.

I was surprised that my single room was actually quite spacious and comfortable; I just needed a hotel for one night whilst transiting through Munich. There was a large entry hall inside my hotel room and the big bathroom was off this hallway (ie the entry hall, bedroom and bathroom were all a part of my private room) so it felt like I had much more space than the usual hotel-room layout where you would just get a cramped ensuite directly off the bedroom. There were some nice touches, like the sweets on the pillow and chocolate to have with your tea or coffee. The breakfast spread was extensive and tasty, though the breaksfast buffet was very busy when I was there in the late summer.

The hotel is near the Hauptbahnhof (main station), so as is often the case with areas around large stations, the neighbourhood is not the greatest. But the trade-off is the convenience of being near the station (noting that there are huge construction works going on at the station at the moment, so there's a bit of terrain to cover with your wheely suitcase if you're walking to the hotel from the S-Bahn from the airport or from the station; try using the side exit from the station near the model railway shop, as it's closer to Paul Heyse Strasse, though I'm not sure if there's a lift).

The room was very large, as was the bathroom. The hotel had an interesting vibe, and the artwork was a real talking point. It is close to the main station and in walking distance of shops and restaurants. The staff were great - friendly and knowledgeable, and were able to direct me to a late night food spot on a Sunday night.

Our room (bathroom in particular) was not very clean on arrival. This is a hotel where you most definitely want to keep your socks (and possibly shoes) on! The pillows are awful -some of the worst I have ever seen, however we did get more when we asked. Breakfast itself was decent but the dining room gets very, very crowded and noisy.

We really enjoyed this hotel. Location was very convenient just around the corner from the train station and 10 walkable minutes away from Altstadt. Great daily breakfast with many options. Room we’re so spacious, with comfortable beds and clean. Every room has their own shower, with very good pressure and extremely clean. Staff was super nice, helpful and very empathetic on our questions. They even prepared a breakfast to go for us on the last day of our stay since we were leaving too early. Hotel decor has great artworks, and are exhibited all over the place. We felt very safe in the area. In general, our stay was amazing. We’ll be back in the future! Thanks for everything! 💕

The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from the old town. Everything is very clean, the staff is friendly, the breakfast is delicious and there are more than enough things to choose from. It is good that the hotel has its own parking garage. If you are traveling with a dog, there is also one of the rare green areas in front of the hotel, where the dog can go to the toilet.

The shower works a little in its own way, a little warm and a little cold water and no real pressure. There is no information on Booking that the garage house needs to be reserved in advance. If there is no space, another garage is provided, which is a few minutes' walk away from the hotel.

Clean spacious room with comfortable beds. The hotel is located very close to the railway station and just 15-20 mipns walk from the historical center. Parking is 5 min walk from the hotel for 16 Euro per day (you should process the parking ticket at the reception to get a discount from the standard price).

It's quite dirty outside and not sure it is safe to walk around at night or late in the evening. But that's not a problem of the hotel, of course. It would also be great if the instructions on where to park could have been provided with the booking confirmation ahead of arrival.

The location of the Arthotel was FABULOUS. We were within walking distance of all the top sights and to Oktoberfest. The little bar in the lobby was adorable and offered everything we needed. Breakfast was very good! There were choices of protein, fruits, breads, and of course, beverages. When I booked our room, I was booked into the annex. There was a caveat that there was no elevator available. I wrote to the hotel explaining that we were in our 70’s and would appreciate having a lower floor or access to an elevator. It was tricky coming and going from our room, but the reception staff showed us where we could take an elevator making things much easier on my friend who had a bad knee.

Our room was on a very busy street and sirens continually ran up and down the street through most the night. That may have had something to do with the Oktoberfest celebration. Lastly, though it was small, our room was comfortable. The downside was the shower. It was extremely small and we had to step up into it using extra caution.

Very nice room, wish I was able to enjoy it longer! Comfortable beds and bathroom. Close to main train station and easy to get taxis to other locations when needed. Easy walk to Olympiapark. Bar in lobby was open late, but missed breakfast.

Had a bit of trouble checking in. They didn’t have my pre-paid booking reservation under my name but a Swiss company, but it was a new computer system. Got a bit weird middle of the night/early morning. Had someone knocking on my door for like 10 minutes- I was travelling alone so didn’t open. No peep hole to see who it was. Then the front desk called soon after to see if I was in my room but had no message or anything else to say. This was 4-5 am. Maybe someone else complained about the knocking but I didn’t feel safe opening the door.

We booked 2 x double comfort rooms, which are extremely spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast is comprehensive with a great variety of food options. The hotel is 300m from the Munich Central Station and an easy 10min - 12min walk to the Munich Altstadt. There is also a decent range of restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the Hotel. They will also store your luggage after checking out at no charge should you have travel plans later in the day, allowing you to explore Munich before moving on to your next destination.

Nothing to complain about

The buffet breakfast and bar near reception were excellent (good quality and variety). The room was well-sized (even with four of us), clean and comfortable. Bonus being able to open the window for fresh air etc. The location works well with a selection of comfortable restaurants within a few minutes walk, the main train station around the corner plus a few supermarkets two streets over.

Everything during our stay was comfortable, there was nothing that we didn't like or found any issues with. Our room had a view overlooking the street with a building going up (no construction during our stay) which looked a bit grim, but no concerns otherwise.
